This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of English textbooks for special purposes, particularly in the context of learning English for education. The content analysis method was used to evaluate the textbook with a focus on its purpose, content, methodology, and practical aspects. The results of the analysis showed strengths in purpose, approach, design and organization, as well as language aspects such as vocabulary and grammar. However, there were weaknesses in content coverage and integration of important components such as grammar and pronunciation. The implication is that this study emphasizes the importance of textbook evaluation to ensure the quality and effectiveness of learning, by adapting the materials to learners' needs and integrating methodologies that are in line with the latest educational developments.

<p>Tugas melestarikan informasi warisan budaya bukanlah merupakan tanggung jawab suatu profesi atau bidang tertentu, melainkan merupakan tanggung jawab setiap individu agar nilai-nilai warisan budaya agar tetap hidup dan membentuk identitas generasi baru bangsa. Artikel ini lebih membahas tentang pelestarian informasinya. Indikator yang dipakai dalam menjelaskan “efektivitas” dalam artikel ini adalah dengan mengidentifikasi pelestarian arsip warisan budaya di media sosial, jangkauan TikTok dan kecenderungan Gen Z, dan strategi pelestarian arsip warisan budaya di TikTok, maka lahirlah sebuah rumusan yang efektif untuk melestarikan informasi warisan budaya di TikTok. Selain itu, artikel ini juga mengevaluasi kelebihan dan kekurangan menggunakan aplikasi TikTok sebagai media untuk melestarikan informasi warisan budaya pada era Generasi Z. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan metode penelitian pustaka (library research) yang bersumber dari data primer dan sekunder sesuai dengan objek penelitiannya, antara lain dari kajian kearsipan dan komunikasi. Penulis membuat artikel yang berjudul “Efektivitas Pemanfaatan TikTok sebagai Upaya Pelestarian Arsip Warisan Budaya pada Era Generasi Z” dengan maksud dan tujuan untuk menjelaskan dan memberikan wawasan mengenai bagaimana media sosial dapat memberikan potensi besar sebagai sarana pelestarian arsip warisan budaya bagi Generasi Z.</p>

Corrosion in materials is a significant concern for the industrial and academic fields because corrosion causes enormous losses in various fields such as the economy, environment, society, industry, security, safety, and others. Currently, material damage control using organic compounds has become a popular field of study. Pyridine and quinoline stand out as corrosion inhibitors among a myriad of organic compounds because they are non-toxic, inexpensive, and effective in a variety of corrosive environments. Experimental investigations in developing various candidate potential inhibitor compounds are time and resource-intensive. In this work, we use a quantitative structure-property relationship (QSPR)-based machine learning (ML) approach to investigate support vector machine (SVR), random forest (RF), and k-nearest neighbors (KNN) algorithms as predictive models of inhibition performance. (Inhibition efficiency) corrosion of pyridine-quinoline derivative compounds as corrosion inhibitors on iron. We found that the RF model showed the best predictive ability based on the coefficient of determination (R2) and root mean squared error (RMSE) metrics. Overall, our study provides new insights regarding the ML model in predicting corrosion inhibition on iron surfaces.

<p>Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menginvestigasi dampak langsung dari konten viral yang dibuat oleh <em>buzzer</em> @kuliner_salatiga terhadap keputusan pembelian produk kuliner UMKM dan dampak tidak langsung melalui interaksi konsumen. Kebaruan dari penelitian ini adalah model hubungan antara viral konten oleh <em>buzzer</em> terhadap keputusan pembelian dan hasil penelitian ini dapat diaplikasikan di organisasi maupun daerah lainnya. Untuk mendapatkan bukti empiris, 201 responden mengisi kuesioner online dan data dianalisis menggunakan <em>Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling</em> (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konten viral buzzer @kuliner_salatiga berpengaruh langsung terhadap keputusan pembelian. Selain itu, peran keterlibatan konsumen secara parsial memediasi hubungan antara konten viral <em>buzzer</em> dan keputusan pembelian konsumen. Temuan ini menawarkan wawasan yang berguna dalam mendorong penggunaan konten <em>buzzer</em> untuk pemasaran bisnis kuliner, dan pentingnya keterlibatan <em>buzzer</em> dengan pengguna sehingga dapat mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen.</p><p><em><span>The primary objective of this research is to investigate the direct impact of viral content created by the @kuliner_salatiga Buzzer on the purchasing decisions of culinary MSME products and the indirect impact through consumer interactions. The novelty of this study lies in the model of the relationship between viral content by Buzzer and purchasing decisions, which can be applied in other organizations or regions. To obtain empirical evidence, 201 respondents completed an online questionnaire, and the data were analyzed using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The research findings indicate that viral content by the @kuliner_salatiga Buzzer has a direct influence on purchasing decisions. Additionally, consumer involvement partially mediates the relationship between Buzzer's viral content and consumer purchasing decisions. These findings offer valuable insights into encouraging the use of Buzzer content for culinary business marketing and the importance of Buzzer engagement with users to influence consumer purchasing decisions.</span></em></p>

The purpose of this study is to examine the legal standing of testaments that forgo a spouse's right to inherit in the event of their death. This study is necessary because, while everyone has the right to draft a testament according to their desires, this does not absolve the contents of the testament from being based on applicable laws and regulations. This study was carried out utilizing a doctrinal and statutory method in a normative juridical manner. The study concludes that a testator's intentions are free to be included in a will; nonetheless, the Indonesian Civil Code governs the legitimacy of Legitieme Portie. Thus, if a testament is written by a spouse whose marriage has entered into a marital agreement to separate assets, and its contents eliminate the longest-living spouse's inheritance rights, then that will not violate the rights of the longest-living spouse because it is based on Article 914 of the Indonesian Civil Code that the husband or wife does not have Legitime Portie. In the meantime, a testament written by a spouse whose marriage did not result in a marital agreement that separates assets only applies to the portion of the maker's assets; in other words, the longest-living spouse still receives a share as part of the joint assets in marriage. 

Insomnia affects 30-50% of the adult population in the United States, with 5-15% experiencing chronic symptoms. Insomnia is characterized by dissatisfaction with the quality or quantity of sleep, insomnia presents challenges such as difficulty initiating, maintaining, and waking early, and is common in older adults. The Hana Nursing Home hosted this activity, with 61 participants in attendance. In this activity, there were 9 elderly people with mild and moderate insomnia respectively (14.75%) and 5 people (8.2%). Therefore, comprehensive clinical evaluation in the form of education and early detection is essential for effective clinical management of insomnia.

Financial Accounting Standards for Entities Without Public Accountability are standards for preparing financial reports for MSMEs with the aim of making it easier for creditors and investors to view financial reports so that MSMEs can get loans to increase capital and make their business more advanced. The implementation of the preparation of financial statements by UD. X is not in accordance with the financial statements based on SAK ETAP. The purpose of this study is to find out (1) What are the obstacles faced by UD. X in compiling financial reports based on SAK ETAP (2) What are the impacts of not compiling financial reports based on SAK ETAP (3) Implementation of financial statement preparation at UD. X. This research uses qualitative method with case study method. The techniques used for data collection are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are (1) Lack of human resources so that they cannot prepare financial reports properly and correctly (2) Owners do not understand the importance of financial statements properly so they cannot make the right decisions (3) Recording of financial statements is recorded simply, not yet based on SAK ETAP.

Climate change has become a major factor in increasing forest fires in various parts of the world. This phenomenon has had serious impacts on the environment, economy and human health. Environmental conservation efforts are becoming increasingly important to reduce the risk of forest fires and maintain ecosystem balance. With a better understanding of the relationship between climate change and forest fires, preventive and adaptation measures can be designed to protect forests and ecosystems that are vulnerable to this threat. The purpose of this article is to discuss the impact of climate change on the increase in forest fires and environmental conservation efforts that can be taken to overcome this problem. The method used in this research is using a literature study method to collect information about the impact of climate change on forest fires and environmental conservation efforts. Climate change is significantly increasing the risk of forest fires worldwide leading to rising global temperatures that are drying out forests and increasing the likelihood of fires occurring. Changing rainfall patterns also lengthen and strengthen the dry season, increasing the potential for forest fires. These factors, along with human activity and extreme weather, have led to an increase in the frequency and intensity of forest fires. The impacts are far-reaching, including destruction of wildlife habitat, carbon loss, ecosystem degradation, and negative impacts on air quality and human health.
