Hydroquinone is a compound that is often used in skin whitening beauty products. According to BPOM 2007, the use of hydroquinone at levels above 2% can cause skin disorders, namely hyperpigmentation which can lead to skin cancer. This research was conducted to qualitatively analyze the hydroquinone compound found in skin whitening soap which does not have a BPOM number. The aim of this research is to determine the presence of hydroquinone compounds contained in skin whitening soap samples and to determine the differences in Rf values ??resulting from the comparison of the concentrations of the mobile phase used. Qualitative analysis was carried out by calculating the Rf value of paper chromatography using a comparison of variations in mobile phase concentration, namely 50% ethanol: chloroform (1: 1) and 90% ethanol: chloroform (1: 1). The analysis results show that the standard Rf value of hydroquinone from the eluent of 50% ethanol and chloroform is 0.46, where this Rf value is the same as the Rf value from sample number 5, namely 0.46. Meanwhile, the Rf value using 90% ethanol and chloroform eluents in sample No. 5 is 0.67, which is not the same as the standard Rf value, namely 0.56. Of the whitening soap samples, 1 sample showed a positive result containing hydroquinone.

The increase in ornamental fish farming in Indonesia has increased significantly during the 2017-2019 period. This improvement process is certainly faced with various challenges such as disease, which is caused by ectoparasites, one of which is Myxobolus sp. This parasite can infect the skin and gills of fish, causing significant financial losses. This study aims to determine the prevalence and intensity of Myxobolus sp parasites in freshwater ornamental fish at the Surabaya I Fish Quarantine Center for Quality Control and Safety of Fishery Products (BKIPM), which was conducted on June 19 - August 18, 2023. The tools and materials used include fish samples, distilled water, 70% alcohol, giemsa dye, swallow and tissue, tray, binocular microscope, computer, dissecting set, object glass, cover glass, dropper pipette, ruler, gloves, beaker glass, workbook, method, and stationery. Native and staining methods were used to examine parasites, while prevalence and intensity were calculated using Kabata's (1985) formula. The results showed that comet fish and koi fish were infected with Myxobolus sp in their gills. The intensity of Myxobolus sp infection in koi fish was classified as severe, while in comet fish it was classified as very severe. The prevalence of Myxobolus sp parasites found in koi fish was 2.32% and in comet fish was 4.20%, both categorized as moderate infection.

The existence of child exploitation and child labor will add to labor problems in Indonesia. The term "child labor" refers to people who employ children. The term "child labor" can be associated with the use of children's labor with low compensation or considerations regarding their personality development, safety, health, and future prospects. Most child workers do not have time to play or go to school like other children. Underage people work as hard as adults, both in formal and informal jobs. To save child labor in the future, a holistic and comprehensive solution model is needed. One method that can be used is a client-centered case management approach (centered on the client or child worker).

Pangandaran District is a newly formed region in West Java Province. Effective and competitive regional development requires support from the potential leading sectors in a region. Prioritization is needed because of limited resources that cannot facilitate the development of all sectors simultaneously. This analysis aims to identify leading sectors, sector interconnections, and multiplier effects on the economy of Pangandaran Regency. The results are that there are 5 (five) sectors that are comparatively and competitively superior, namely: (1) Accommodation, Food and Drink Providers, (2) Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (3) Transportation and Warehousing, (4) Wholesale and retail trade , Repair and (5) Real Estate. The largest backward linkages are achieved by the "other services" sector. This sector becomes a lever for the development of its own sector. Meanwhile, the largest forward linkages are agriculture, forestry, and fisheries. The output from the agricultural sector is widely used as an input by other sectors. Agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors are key sectors. This is because agriculture, forestry, and fisheries have the largest intersectoral linkages and dispersal index. The “Other services” sector is the largest output multiplier. The sector with the largest GRDP multiplier is agriculture, forestry and fisheries. Proper allocation of resources can be done by prioritizing the leading sectors to improve the regional development of the Pangandaran District.

Sexual violence against children is a crucial issue in Indonesia, with the number of cases continuing to increase. This research evaluates the effectiveness of legal protection based on Law no. 35 of 2014 and Law no. 23 of 2004. Data for 2024 shows an increase in cases of child sexual violence by 15% from the previous year, with a total of 4,500 cases. The main obstacles in implementing legal protection include a lack of special training for law enforcers, limited budgets, weak inter-agency coordination, and social stigma that inhibits reporting. Comprehensive psychosocial support, such as therapy and rehabilitation, has proven crucial for victims' recovery. Suggestions for improving legal protection include increasing training, better budget allocation, improving institutional coordination, reducing social stigma, and strengthening the role of communities and non-governmental organizations. With these steps, it is hoped that legal protections can be strengthened, ensuring children grow up in a safe and supportive environment.
