The application of the philosophy of progressive education within the Merdeka Curriculum aims to create a more student-centered education system that encourages active and contextual learning. Progressivism emphasizes the importance of hands-on experiences and the development of critical thinking skills through real projects and discussions. In the context of the Merdeka Curriculum, this approach allows students to explore their interests and talents more independently, with teachers acting as facilitators guiding the learning process. Through project-based learning, collaboration, and authentic assessment, the Merdeka Curriculum provides students with the opportunity to explore their interests and talents. This research identifies various strategies that educators can adopt to integrate the principles of progressivism, such as using active learning methods and allowing freedom in choosing learning materials. The implementation of the progressive philosophy presents several challenges, including teachers' readiness to adopt new roles, the need to adjust the curriculum to local contexts, and the availability of adequate resources. However, this application also offers significant opportunities to enhance the quality of education by producing graduates who are more adaptive, creative, and capable of solving complex problems. This study highlights how the application of progressive philosophy in the Merdeka Curriculum can increase student motivation, develop 21st-century skills, and prepare them for future challenges. Therefore, it is essential to continuously evaluate and develop this approach to align with the evolving times and national educational needs.

Pengangguran yang tinggi bagi lulusan SMK di Jateng  menjadi pekerjaan rumah tersendiri bagi civitas akademika khususnya SMK Palebon Semarang, yang berkomitmen mempersiapkan lulusan SMK yang siap kerja dan sesuai dengan permintaan industri. Salah satu upaya yang perlu dilakukan adalah dengan memberikan praktik perpajakan sesuai dengan aturan terbaru. SMK Palebon telah memberikan kurikulum dan persiapan materi terbaik, akan tetapi peserta didik masih perlu dibekali dengan kompetensi perpajakan terbaru serta implementasi pengetahuan tersebut dalam praktik pelaporan perpajakan menggunakan E-Bupot Unifikasi PPh 21. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan perpajakan yang terdiri dari pemberian materi perpajakan PPh pasal 21 metode TER (tarif efektif rata-rata) dilanjutkan dengan praktik implementasi peraturan perpajakan tersebut menggunakan aplikasi E-Bupot Unifikasi 21/26. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara offline di ruang Laboratorium Akuntansi SMK Palebon Semarang pada Selasa, selama 2 jam, yaitu mulai pukul 07.00 – 09.00 WIB dengan para peserta didik dan guru jurusan Akuntansi. Harapan dari pelatihan ini adalah peserta didik dapat lebih memahami dan mendapatkan kemudahan dalam praktik pelaporan perpajakan PPh 21, sehingga dapat menunjang lulusan SMK Palebon Semarang dengan keterampilan perpajakan sesuai  dengan dunia usaha dan tentunya meningkatkan kesadaran pelaporan perpajakan bagi lulusan yang berwirausaha agar dapat melaksanakan praktik pelaporan perpajakan usaha PPH-21 dengan baik dan benar sesuai peraturan yang belaku.

Following the Civil War, the funeral industry in the United States excluded women from the job of taking care of the deceased. But in the last 10 years, women have taken their place in the funeral industry again. This can be seen from the data recently that shows that 65% of funeral director program graduates are women. The role of women in the funeral industry can also be seen in one of the reality series on Netflix, Buried by the Bernards. Therefore, this research aims to analyze how the role of women in the funeral industry is represented in Buried by the Bernards. The series portrays the Bernards funeral home, managed by the Bernards family members. Three of whom are women, including Deja, Reagan, and Debbie. To answer the research question, the researcher used Hall’s representation theory. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with primary data from the Buried by the Bernards Netflix reality series, and secondary data from books, theses, journals, articles, and online sources. The results of this research show that the American traditional belief that women are unable to work in funeral homes is not true. Based on Buried by the Bernards, women are portrayed as taking an important part in the funeral industry and their status as women does not prevent them from working in the funeral industry. Thus, researcher conclude that women can once again prove that they are equal and their abilities are not inferior to men, even in the funeral industry.

Kaizen appears when many items are purchased but there is no or lack of control in their implementation. The purpose of this assistance activity in implementing Kaizen management and administration is to manage a science laboratory organization in a school so that the management of goods and administration can run well. The method used is the 5S method (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke) and PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, and Action). As a result of this activity, the TCS Science Laboratory can implement Kaizen well and can do it routinely and continuously.
 
 

The experience of losing a parent has an impact on a child's life. When this event occurs, you will experience a feeling of loss which ultimately causes grief. In fact, this event had a physical, emotional and spiritual impact because of the child's grief over the death of his parents. Situations like this ultimately cause trauma to the person, therefore a healing process is needed for people who experience abnormal sadness. The purpose of this article is to describe a trauma-based approach to dealing with abnormal grief in adolescents whose parents have died. This research uses a qualitative literature method with a literature review using a content analysis approach. This study provides insight into the definition of pathological grief and trauma healing. Symptoms of excessive mourning experienced by adolescent children after the death of their parents. And knowledge about how to overcome grief using a trauma healing approach.

This study aims to evaluate the impact of Work-Life Balance, Employee Internal Marketing, and Corporate Culture on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among employees of PT XYZ Cikarang. OCB is a voluntary action taken by employees to improve organizational performance beyond their official responsibilities. An optimal work-life balance can improve employee well-being and strengthen their commitment to the company. Internal Employee Branding serves to strengthen employees' identity and relationship with the company, while Corporate Culture forms values and norms that encourage constructive behavior in the work environment. This study applies a quantitative method with a multiple regression analysis approach. Information was obtained through questionnaires distributed to employees of PT XYZ Cikarang. The research findings indicate that work-life balance, internal marketing for employees, and organizational culture have a positive and significant impact on OCB, both separately and together. The main factor that is most influential in strengthening OCB is Organizational Culture, which shows the important role of company values and norms in shaping employee attitudes. The findings suggest that companies should improve work-life balance, strengthen internal brands, and create a supportive organizational culture to encourage employees to perform behaviors that go beyond their responsibilities.

The drama “Dag Dig Dug” by Putu Wijaya is an interesting literary work to analyze, especially in terms of its elements. This research was conducted to understand the intrinsic elements in the drama Dag Dig Dug by Putu Wijaya. Intrinsic elements are important elements in a literary work. A work cannot be called a literary work if one of the elements is not present in it. This research aims to understand the important elements in the drama, such as theme, plot, character, setting, dialog, and mandate, so that we can understand the meaning contained in it. The problem to be answered in this study is what elements exist in Putu Wijaya's Dag Dig Dug drama and how these elements are interconnected to form a story. The purpose of this research is to explain these elements. The main data source is the play Dag Dig Dug by Putu Wijaya and several journals and other relevant sources. The method used is qualitative with a literature study approach. The author collects and analyzes various literary theories to identify the elements in the script. The results show that the elements in this drama include theme, character, plot, setting, dialog, and mandate. The theme is about life. There are 8 characters in this drama. The plot uses a loose plot. The setting of the story is in the house of a husband and wife. The dialog of the eight characters helps reveal the story. The mandate is about the importance of applying moral and ethical values, especially the value of honesty in life. Overall, the elements in Putu Wijaya's Dag Dig Dug interact with each other to create a work that is not only entertaining, but also thought-provoking for the audience. This research is expected to provide deeper insight into Putu Wijaya's work and the elements that make up a drama in Indonesian literature.

This study examines the strengthening of the ultimum remedium principle in handling corporate crimes as part of a more proportional, efficient, and equitable criminal justice system reform. The ultimum remedium principle views criminal law as a last resort, used after other legal mechanisms, such as administrative resolution, mediation, or administrative sanctions, are deemed inadequate. The application of this principle becomes increasingly important in the corporate context to prevent the negative impact of repressive punishment on business entities that play a strategic role in the national economy. The significant impact of corporations on society and the economy necessitates a more careful and prudent approach to handling corporate crimes. This study uses a normative juridical method with statutory, conceptual, and case study approaches. In analyzing the application of the ultimum remedium principle, this study identifies that although this principle has been incorporated into several laws and regulations, its implementation remains weak. Factors contributing to this include limited understanding of the principle among law enforcement officials, suboptimal technical guidelines regarding the application of the ultimum remedium principle, and public pressure that tends to encourage a repressive approach in handling corporate crimes. Therefore, this study recommends strengthening regulations, increasing the capacity of law enforcement officials, and developing integrated guidelines to ensure the consistent and effective application of the ultimum remedium principle in handling corporate crimes. The application of this principle is also in line with the restorative justice approach, which aims to provide more humane and corrective punishment and create sustainable change for corporations and society.
 

The present study aims to design a mobile application dictionary that caters to students' needs for enhancing IT-focused English vocabulary. The study explores the effectiveness of the designed mobile application in improving students' IT-focused English vocabulary, their engagement in vocabulary learning, and their overall satisfaction with the application. This research aims to design a mobile application dictionary to enhance IT-Focused English Vocabulary. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative interviews and a quantitative survey, to understand the design requirements, implementation strategies, and effectiveness of the mobile application dictionary. The qualitative phase involves semi-structured interviews with IT students and subject matter experts to gain insights into the learners' challenges, preferences, and needs, as well as the crucial IT English vocabulary concepts. The quantitative phase evaluates the impact of the mobile application dictionary on IT students' vocabulary knowledge, confidence, and overall satisfaction through a survey. The integrated findings will provide a comprehensive understanding of the factors that contribute to the success of mobile application dictionaries in enhancing IT students' informatics English vocabulary, with practical implications for the development of similar language learning tools.

This study aims to analyze teachers' efforts in forming disciplined attitudes in grade III students of SDN Tanjung Jati 2. The main focus of this research is on the efforts teachers use to instill discipline and the factors that support and hinder this process The approach used in this study is qualitative, with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation aimed at grade III teachers. The results of the study revealed that: 1) Teachers' efforts in forming students' disciplined attitudes include habituation, role models, application of punishment, giving rewards, and consistency in implementing rules. 2) Factors that support teachers' efforts in forming students' disciplined attitudes include the active role of the principal, cooperation between teachers, and parental involvement. 3) Conversely, factors that hinder the formation of students' disciplined attitudes include the influence of social interactions between students and the less supportive attitudes of parents.
