The construction of the Musi 6 Bridge in 2 Ulu Village is an opportunity to develop existing potential. One of them is tourism development. A number of tourist attractions have the potential for development as an effort for sustainable tourism. For this reason, Community Service conducted a SWOT analysis of tourism and recommendations that are relevant to the situation in the field. Approaching the Community through interviews and Focus Group Discussions is a method of data analysis. In general, tourism in the 2 Ulu Area requires Community skills in activity management because the available locations can be used as a means of performance or exhibition. Of course, this is a collaboration between the surrounding community, government, private sector and community.

This study investigates the influence of service quality, trust, and commitment on member loyalty in Women’s Cooperatives in Jember Regency, Indonesia. Amid increasing competition from financial institutions and a declining number of active cooperatives, member loyalty has become a critical factor for sustainability. Drawing upon the Key Mediating Variable (KMV) model and relationship marketing theory, this research highlights how service quality and trust shape long-term cooperative-member relationships. The study also explores the unique role of commitment in fostering member retention in a cooperative context driven by social empowerment and collective welfare. Findings from previous literature underscore the positive and significant effects of service quality and trust on loyalty, while commitment shows varied influence. The paper emphasizes the necessity for cooperatives to maintain high service standards and build strong emotional ties with members. This approach is essential for sustaining member engagement and positioning women’s cooperatives as agents of local economic development and female empowerment.

This study examines the strengthening of students' character through the integration of local wisdom in education in Indonesia. In facing the challenges of globalization, education must not only focus on improving academic quality, but also on character building. The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of methods that integrate local wisdom in the learning process and its impact on student learning outcomes. The proposed methods include identification of local wisdom, curriculum development, implementation of active learning, and assessment and evaluation. The results showed that the application of this method increased the average student grade from 70 to 85 and the graduation percentage from 60% to 90%. These findings indicate that the integration of local wisdom not only increases learning motivation but also contributes to the development of students' character and identity. Thus, this study concludes that strengthening character through local wisdom is an effective strategy to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, as well as encourage the younger generation to love their culture and identity more.

This research report titled The Influence of Brand Image and Price on Purchase Decisions through Purchase Intention as a Mediating Variabel (Survey on McDonald’s Consumers in Surakarta). Aims to analyze the impact of brand image and price on consumers purchase McDonald’s products in Surakarta. The research untilized a quantitative descriptive method, collection data through questionnaires distributed to 40 respondents. The findings indicate that brand image does to not significantly influence purchasing decisions, whili price has a positive and signicant effect on purchase intention. Furthermore, purchase intention positively and significantly affects purchasing decisions. This research contributes to the understanding of consumer behavior in the fast-food industry, particulary in the context of McDonald’s.

Pasuruan City has an economic dynamic driven by the informal sector, especially street vendors (PKL), which play a crucial role in supporting the community's economy. One of the locations that is the center of street vendor activities is the Pasuruan City Square area. Despite its strategic value, the presence of street vendors in the area has caused problems related to order, cleanliness, and public space management. In response, the Pasuruan City Government has enacted Local Regulation No. 2/2013 on the Arrangement and Empowerment of Street Vendors. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the policy and identify factors that support and hinder its implementation. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach by referring to Van Meter and Van Horn's policy implementation theory, which includes six main indicators. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews, observation, documentation, and literature study. The results show that policy implementation is quite effective, as seen from the addition of official locations, assistance with facilities such as carts, and entrepreneurship training. However, challenges remain, mainly related to limited human resources and low compliance of street vendors with zoning regulations.

This study aims to describe and analyze the representation of Indonesian culture in Fiersa Besari's novel Arah Langkah using Roland Barthes' semiotic approach. This novel presents the narrative of the journey of the novel's characters who discover the diversity of Indonesian culture through geographical descriptions, customs, and social interactions that occur. Using descriptive qualitative methods and literature studies, the study examines the cultural signs that appear in the text in depth at the level of denotative, connotative, and cultural myth meanings. Barthes' approach allows the disclosure of layers of symbolic and ideological meanings hidden in the novel's cultural representation. The results of the analysis are expected to enrich literary and cultural studies, increase readers' appreciation of Indonesian cultural values, and contribute to the preservation of the nation's cultural identity amidst the flow of globalization. This study also emphasizes the role of the novel as a medium for reflecting socio-cultural life and a means of learning life values through the experiences of characters in the story.

This study aims to identify the training needs of Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers in integrating digital-based learning approaches. Despite the availability of digital tools in PAUD Yobel Bersinar Medan, such as projectors and speakers, their effective use in classroom activities remains minimal. A qualitative descriptive method was employed to collect data through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that most teachers face challenges in utilizing digital media, designing technology-integrated lesson plans, and engaging children through interactive platforms. However, the teachers expressed strong motivation and readiness to participate in contextual and practical training. The study highlights the importance of need-based training programs tailored to the actual teaching context. These findings imply the necessity for institutions to develop structured and sustainable professional development programs to enhance teachers' digital literacy and pedagogical skills, ultimately improving learning experiences in the digital era.

This study analyzes the legal responsibility of business actors in distributing blue-labeled skincare products through e-commerce platforms, particularly in relation to violations of Law Number 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection, BPOM regulations, and the Electronic Information and Transactions Law. The urgency of this research arises from the widespread circulation of unauthorized dermatological products sold without BPOM approval, posing serious health risks to consumers in the digital marketplace. Employing a normative juridical method with a statutory and literature approach, this study examines the fragmentation of regulatory frameworks, liability avoidance strategies, and the ineffectiveness of current enforcement mechanisms. The findings reveal that business actors exploit regulatory gaps to avoid accountability and that existing laws are reactive and insufficient for digital contexts. This research contributes novelty by integrating pharmaceutical and e-commerce law in analyzing liability and proposes regulatory reforms that include platform liability mandates, automated monitoring systems, and public awareness campaigns. The study concludes that stricter law enforcement, increased regulatory oversight, and comprehensive stakeholder education are essential to protect consumers and ensure legitimate commerce in Indonesia's digital era.

This research examines the prevention and protection measures that can be taken by notaries in their dual role as controllers and processors of personal data. This research is motivated by the limited awareness of some notaries regarding their legal obligations to protect the personal data of witnesses, as mandated by the Personal Data Protection Law (UUPDP). This research contributes new insights by framing notaries as Controllers and Processors under the UUPDP, an aspect that has rarely been emphasized in previous legal literature. The novelty of this study lies in its specific focus on notaries’ dual capacity as both Controllers and Processors of personal data under Indonesian law, particularly in the context of witness data handling an area that has not been thoroughly examined in existing scholarship. Using normative juridical methods with statutory and conceptual approaches, this study found that notaries have dual responsibilities in managing witness data and must proactively comply with the UUPDP to prevent legal risks. These responsibilities include obtaining approvals, establishing internal data protection policies, and implementing secure technologies such as encryption and regular audits. Strengthening the role of notaries in personal data protection will foster greater legal certainty and public trust in the notary profession. The integration of these findings with practical recommendations emphasizes the need for regulatory guidance and professional capacity building to support compliance with personal data protection standards.
 

This study aims to examine the implementation of competency-based human resource management (HR) in improving employee professionalism at Devos Jok, an SME engaged in the automotive interior manufacturing sector. A descriptive qualitative approach is used to explore in depth the HR practices carried out, the challenges faced, and the impact on employee work quality. The results of the study indicate that the transformation of the HR system from an administrative pattern to a competency-based one has made a significant contribution to improving individual and organizational performance. The strategies implemented include competency-based recruitment, ongoing training, flexible payroll systems, and adaptation to digital platforms. However, challenges remain, especially in overcoming resistance to change and limited training resources. This study provides theoretical and practical contributions to the development of a competency-based SME HR system in the context of today's creative and digital industries.
