Now days, the home environment is still much  less supportive of life for the elderly, most elderly living at  home need a companion to help them. Safety, health, happiness  and independence will be difficult for them to get even the  elderly will be further away from the surrounding  environment. Based on population projection 2017 data there  are 23.66 million elderly people in Indonesia and predicted in  2020 there are 27.08 million people elderly. Smart homes that  are currently widely studied have not focused on elderly; most  smart homes only provide a sense of security and convenience  for adult residents. And this will be a problem that until now  has not solved the improvement of human life through  technology to get happiness, care and health especially for the  elderly. In many cases of the elderly, it is easier to send them to  live in a nursing home and that keeps them separated from  their families for the rest of their lives. That's what makes  them less happiness. Orange Technology is a collection of  technological elements to improve human life by getting  happiness, Care and health. This study reviewed the journals  of scientific databases such as IEEE explore, ACM digital  library and Proquest published from 2002 to 2017. From the  search results obtained 54 papers that will answer the scientific  questions of this research. The result of this research is a  framework of smart house that has Sensor, Monitoring,  Wireless, Scalability, Low cost, GPS and ease of installation  and maintenance as components of smart house of orange  technology for elderly.

This final project is a video feature focusing on cabaret as a platform for developing language and artistic expression among its members. The video presents several interviewees as the primary content, offering insights into their experiences. In its creation, the directing process plays a crucial and inseparable role. This video feature applies a directing concept that significantly influences the production process, resulting in a well-structured piece. In general, directing is the process of translating a script into a visual form that aligns with the creative vision. The purpose of this report is to explain the directing concept applied in the making of the video, covering the video feature style, the chosen approach, and the structure of its presentation. The director holds a central role in overseeing all stages of production—pre-production, production, and post-production. The directing style used in this video adopts an expository approach, aiming to convey the story and message through voice-over narration and interviews with key sources. The video feature “Kabaret Bandung: The Art of Speaking, the Language of Creation” successfully implements key directing principles, both in terms of style and approach. The application of these concepts allows the video to be crafted in line with the director's vision and the intended target audience.

This research examines how economic literacy and digital literacy influence economic teacher readiness through self-efficacy as a mediating variable among Economic Education students from the State University of Surabaya. Using an explanatory research type and a quantitative approach, this study employs PLS-SEM methodology. The investigation gathered questionnaire responses from 106 participants, using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. First, the result of this study stated that economic literacy does not significantly influence economic teacher readiness. Second, digital literacy and self-efficacy positively influence economic teacher readiness. Third, economic literacy and digital literacy also have a positive influence on self-efficacy. Last, while self-efficacy did not mediate the influence of economic literacy, it did mediate the influence of digital literacy on economic teacher readiness. These results suggest the necessity for alternative comprehensive approaches to improve economic literacy towards economic teacher readiness, other than through self-efficacy. Therefore, educational institutions should enhance digital literacy and self-efficacy to boost economic teacher readiness.

Spring steel is one type of material that is widely used in various engineering applications, such as vehicle suspension systems and equipment that require resistance to dynamic loads. Spring steel possesses various mechanical characteristics that are strongly influenced by the microstructure of the material. These characteristics remain consistently affected throughout the entire material. Heating that occurs due to exposure to flame can alter certain microstructural properties of spring steel and affect its performance. In this study, an analysis was carried out on all changes in the microstructure of spring steel caused by flame heating, as well as its effect on the hardness of the material. The results of the study showed that heating can indeed cause changes in the microstructural phase and a decrease in fatigue resistance of the spring steel.

When making a decision to purchase a motorcycle, it is necessary to consider several criteria. These include price, environmental impact, fuel consumption, design and technology, performance and power, availability of spare parts, after-sales service, warranty on spare parts and distance to the nearest service centre. This research aims to help consumers make informed decisions when buying motorbikes by using the Multi-Objective Optimisation by Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method. The MOORA method was selected because it can handle many criteria efficiently and simply, and produce very objective decisions. Nine criteria were used with four alternatives: motor A, motor B, motor C and motor D.
The MOORA calculation results ranked motor C as the highest with a value of 1.90, motor B as the second highest with a value of 1.77, motor A as the third highest with a value of 1.25 and motor D as the fourth highest with a value of 1.20. This research proves that the MOORA method can effectively and accurately provide recommendations for making decisions about purchasing motorbikes with many criteria.

Akses terhadap air bersih yang layak merupakan kebutuhan dasar yang sangat penting, terutama bagi masyarakat di wilayah pedesaan seperti Desa Drawati, Bandung Barat. Sebagian besar warga desa masih mengandalkan sumber air alami seperti mata air dan sungai tanpa proses penyaringan yang memadai, yang berpotensi menyebabkan penyakit seperti diare dan infeksi saluran pencernaan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan teknologi penyaringan air sederhana namun efektif yang memungkinkan masyarakat memperoleh air layak konsumsi secara langsung. Sistem penyaringan yang diterapkan terdiri dari beberapa tahapan, yaitu filtrasi mekanis (pasir silika dan kerikil), karbon aktif, zeolit, membran ultrafiltrasi, dan sterilisasi dengan sinar ultraviolet (UV). Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif yang melibatkan masyarakat sejak tahap perencanaan hingga pemeliharaan unit penyaringan. Selain membangun unit penyaringan, tim juga memberikan pelatihan kepada warga tentang pentingnya air bersih dan cara perawatan sistem. Hasil pengujian air menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu meningkatkan kualitas air hingga memenuhi standar konsumsi. Program ini juga melibatkan mahasiswa sebagai bagian dari implementasi Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) dan mendukung pencapaian Indikator Kinerja Utama (IKU) perguruan tinggi.

Based on the background of the title I took, and I am an employee at one of the manufacturing companies in Batam. Therefore, I raised the title about translating Occupational Health and Safety documents in order to provide a breakthrough for employees to understand and comprehend, even though they do not fully understand foreign languages, especially English, so that there is no misunderstanding of communication that has fatal consequences for employees and the company where we work. Rojak and Handayani (2023) stated that language barriers in translating Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) technical documents can affect the effectiveness of safety communication in the workplace. This study aims to analyze the level of accuracy of translating Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) terms from English to Indonesian in the manufacturing industry based on a literature review of 15 recent journals, where the results of this study explain that incompatibility or dissimilarity in translation has the potential to cause miscommunication that is very dangerous to the safety of employees and employees in a company. The research that I did is not solely for employees and employees in the company where I work, but for all employees and employees wherever they work, especially in the manufacturing industry. The definition of manufacturing industry is a company or industrial body that processes raw materials into products or semi-finished materials and from semi-finished materials into products, which processing can be done mechanically or chemically.

This study investigates the effect of Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) on Return on Assets (ROA) in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2019–2023. Using purposive sampling, 20 companies were selected over 5 years (100 observations). Multiple linear regression analysis shows that CR has a significant positive effect on ROA, DER has no significant effect, while TATO has a significant negative effect on ROA.
