The relationship between entrepreneurship programs, individual entrepreneurial orien-tation, and entrepreneurial intention can be strengthened by entrepreneurial motivation, which acts as an internal drive encouraging individuals to take action toward starting a business. Motivated individuals tend to explore ideas and identify market opportunities to build inde-pendent ventures. Universities play a crucial role by organizing programs that inspire students to pursue self-reliance through entrepreneurship, while also equipping them with relevant knowledge and practical experience to enhance their skills and risk-taking ability. At Univer-sitas Lampung (UNILA), these efforts are facilitated by the Center for Career and Entre-preneurship Development (CCED), which supports various entrepreneurship initiatives aimed at increasing students' motivation and providing hands-on experiences. These experiences strengthen students’ drive to start a business, as entrepreneurial intention is influenced by internal factors such as motivation, reinforced through direct program involvement. Hence, motivation can serve as a mediating variable that links entrepreneurship programs and indi-vidual entrepreneurial orientation with entrepreneurial intention.

Human resource development through Learning and Development (L&D) is a major challenge in improving employee performance in the service sector that is highly dependent on service quality. However, the mechanism of L&D's influence on HR performance involving employee engagement as a mediating variable is still not comprehensively understood. This study aims to analyze the influence of L&D on HR performance with employee engagement as a mediator in service companies in Jakarta. The method used is a quantitative survey with data collection through questionnaires to 120 employees, and data analysis using AMOS-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of the study indicate that L&D has a direct positive effect on HR performance and indirectly through increasing employee engagement, which acts as a significant mediator. This finding strengthens the theory of social learning and employee engagement and emphasizes the importance of integrating psychological aspects in employee development. The practical implication is that service sector management needs to design L&D programs that not only improve technical competence but also motivate employee engagement to maximize organizational performance. This study provides a relevant empirical contribution to the development of HR management theory and practice in the service sector.

This research analyzes the role of Instagram social media in shaping digital public space for the Indonesian Forum for the Environment (WALHI) environmental movement. The main focus of this study is how the @walhi.national account mobilizes discourse, solidarity, and collective action in contemporary ecological issues, with a theoretical approach that refers to Sidney Tarrow's Cycle of Contention framework (1994). The analysis shows that WALHI utilizes Instagram as a means to respond to political moments and ecological crises, such as the Rempang conflict (2023) and the rejection of the Trenggalek gold mine (#TolakTambangTrenggalek). The initial phase was characterized by the outbreak of political opportunities through controversial policies. WALHI then mobilized, framed and diffused action through the spread of visual narratives and hashtag campaigns that expanded solidarity. In the final phase, WALHI as an organization has undergone a transformation process from a field-based advocacy movement to a professional, strategic and technology-adaptive digital actor. WALHI through @walhi.national together with various parties such as volunteers, academics, communities and the public have contributed to encouraging institutional advocacy and redrafting policy discourse related to the environment. This study concludes that social media is not only a tool for information dissemination, but also a field of political articulation that can strengthen or challenge power structures in the contestation cycle. Instagram becomes an important arena for WALHI in maintaining moral legitimacy and expanding the environmental movement to a more inclusive and connected level.

As a democratic legal state, Indonesia is obligated to guarantee press freedom as an information source for the community and as a social watchdog. The ITE Law, a response to technological developments, affects the existence of press media, which now present information digitally. This research focuses on two main issues: First, it examines the implications of the ITE Law on press freedom using Lawrence M. Friedman's theory. Second, it explores how to ideally guarantee press freedom through the legal protection of journalists. This study aims to examine the extent to which the ITE Law restricts press freedom. This study employs a normative juridical approach with a literature review and case analysis of the criminalization of journalists in Indonesia. The results show that the ITE Law creates legal ambiguity, thus triggering the abuse of vague articles, particularly Article 26, paragraph 3, which contradicts press freedom as protected by the 1945 Constitution. The study concludes that there is a need for a fundamental revision of the ITE Law to create a balance between individual rights and public interests. Alternative solutions include synchronizing the law with the press law and strengthening the role of the Press Council.

This research aims to explore the role of social media in Indonesia's digital democracy, by highlighting the tension between its function as a tool of hegemony or a means of emancipation. The background of this study is the increasing use of social media by political actors and civil society in voicing, shaping or criticizing public narratives ahead of the 2024 elections. This study uses a critical qualitative approach with a descriptive study design, and applies the Critical Discourse Analysis method and netnographic observation of political content on three main platforms: Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram. Data was collected through literature studies, digital documentation, and observation of user interactions in digital political campaigns. The results show that the digital space is dominated by hegemonic actors such as political elites, partisan buzzers, and platform algorithms that reinforce certain narratives. However, there are also spaces of emancipation formed by digital communities and independent content creators who use social media as a means of political education and symbolic resistance. Counter-narratives that emerge tend to be temporary and are often limited by distribution and visibility controls. These findings have important implications for the development of more critical and participatory digital literacy policies. In addition, this study contributes to the enrichment of critical communication theory, by affirming the importance of viewing social media as a complex pedagogical and ideological field in contemporary democratic practice.

Parental divorce causes the child to lose the love and affection of his parents and hinders them in their psychological development. This study describes and analyzes the psychological struggles experienced by three children who lost their father's role after divorce. All three experience similar inner conflicts: feelings of loss, neglect, and emotional division, as well as confusion in choosing to live with their father or mother. This study uses a qualitative case study approach and uses participatory observation and in-depth interviews for data collection. The results showed that children experienced conflicts about loyalty, emotional stress, and difficulty in reshaping their self-identity in a changing family environment. Children's mental and social instability is exacerbated by the loss of the father figure both physically and emotionally. The study emphasizes how important it is for parents to remain actively involved with their child even after they have divorced to maintain their emotional stability and provide ongoing psychological support. These findings are expected to be a reference for education practitioners, counselors, and parents in dealing with the psychological impact of divorce on children.

Facial recognition, a branch of image processing, is widely used in attendance systems to improve efficiency and security. This study develops an employee attendance monitoring system that integrates facial recognition using the Eigenface algorithm in OpenCV. The system records each individual's facial data alongside a password, enabling automated attendance tracking. Testing results indicate that with a database of 10 facial entries, the system achieved 100% accuracy in recognizing individuals. However, as the database expanded beyond 10 entries, accuracy declined to 80%, influenced by factors such as lighting variations, differences in facial structures, and increased data volume. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) methodology, with expert validation yielding a score of 3.4, categorizing the system as "Highly Valid." User testing with 11 participants resulted in an overall score of 36, classifying the system as "Very Good (Valid)." The findings highlight the potential of facial recognition in improving attendance management while minimizing fraudulent entries. Future research should focus on optimizing recognition accuracy in larger databases through refined preprocessing techniques, image quality adjustments, and deep learning models.
