This study investigated the logical function of clause complexes in two selected English nursery tales, Jack the Giant Killer and Jack and the Beanstalk, using Halliday’s Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL) framework. The research focuses on the realization of clause interpendency through the taxis system (parataxis, hypotaxis, and taxis combination) and logico-semantic relations (elaboration, extension, enhancement, idea and locution). The method employed is qualitative content analysis based on Krippendorf involving processes such as unitizing, sampling, coding, reducing, interpreting, and narrating. From 1,048 clauses analyzed, 341 wereidentified as clause complexes. The findings show that enhancement is the most dominant logico-semantic relation (164 cases), followed by extension (123 cases), elaboration (100 cases), locution (57 cases), andidea (22 cases). The findings show that paratxis is the most dominant taxis in selected English nursery tales. While hypotaxis relations mostly realized in enhancement, while extension appeared dominantly in parataxis. These results reveal that although nursery tales are intended for children, they often employ complex grammatical structure, therefore, balancing narrative engagement and linguistic accessibility is crucial to support children’s language development and reading comprehension.

This study aims to explore employees’ work experiences related to work-life balance and compensation in shaping employee performance at CV. Sepanjang Masa (Masa Kreatif), a social media agency located in Makassar. A qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical field design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, passive participant observation, and documentation involving 11 informants from both management and creative teams. Data analysis followed processes of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with trustworthiness ensured through triangulation techniques. The findings reveal that employees’ work-life balance experiences are dynamic and heterogeneous. Work flexibility provides opportunities for personal time management; however, rapid response demands and intensive content production blur the boundaries between work and personal life. A supportive, communicative, and collaborative work environment acts as a protective factor that mitigates work pressure and fosters creativity. Compensation is perceived not only as financial remuneration but also as a symbol of recognition, professional development opportunities, and organizational appreciation, although gaps remain between employee expectations and organizational capacity. Integratively, work-life balance, work environment, and compensation constitute interconnected work experiences influencing employee engagement and performance within the digital creative industry.

The rapid development of social media, particularly TikTok, has transformed digital marketing strategies by emphasizing influencer endorsement and content marketing to reach Generation Z consumers. This generation is characterized by high social media usage and strong responsiveness to visual content and influencer recommendations. This study aims to analyze the effect of influencer endorsement and content marketing on the purchase intention of Generation Z TikTok users toward Antarestar products in Makassar City, both partially and simultaneously. This study employed a quantitative approach with an associative research method. The population consisted of Antarestar consumers residing in Makassar City, and the sample was determined using purposive sampling. A total of 140 respondents who met the research criteria were involved in this study. Data were collected through a questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics software. The results of this study indicate that (1) influencer endorsement has a positive and significant effect on the purchase intention of Generation Z TikTok users toward Antarestar products, (2) content marketing has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, and (3) influencer endorsement and content marketing simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the purchase intention of Generation Z TikTok users toward Antarestar products in Makassar City. The findings conclude that the effectiveness of Antarestar’s digital marketing on TikTok is strongly influenced by credible and attractive influencers as well as relevant, informative, and consistent marketing content. Therefore, optimizing influencer endorsement and content marketing strategies is essential to enhance purchase intention among Generation Z consumers.

This study aims to analyze the impact of immersive commerce and augmented reality (AR) on consumer trust in e-commerce transactions using secondary industry data from the BrandXR 2025 Research on Augmented Reality in Retail & E-Commerce. Quantitative data was analyzed descriptively to evaluate the adoption rate of immersive technologies (immersive commerce and AR) and their relationship with consumer trust perceptions. The results show that immersive commerce, characterized by interactive and realistic user experiences, has a positive impact on consumer trust. Similarly, AR which offers realistic product visualization, has a significant impact on strengthening consumer trust in purchasing decisions. Simultaneously, the integration of immersive commerce and AR enhance the digital shopping experience, which can reduce risk perception and increase trust in online transactions. These findings empirically contribute to the literature on digital consumer behavior and e-commerce strategies, and suggest that businesses adopt immersive technologies to increase consumer trust and engagement in the online commerce ecosystem.

The mining sector is widely recognized as a high-risk industry characterized by complex social, environmental, and organizational challenges. In response, sustainability governance in mining has predominantly relied on institutional mechanisms such as regulations, voluntary standards, and sustainability reporting frameworks. However, growing evidence indicates that these approaches often fail to generate substantive sustainability outcomes because they insufficiently address human and organizational dimensions. This literature review aims to synthesize existing research on sustainability governance in the mining sector by shifting the analytical focus from institutional sustainability to human behavioral engagement. Using a systematic and thematic literature review approach, this study analyzes peer-reviewed articles indexed in Scopus that examine sustainability governance, human behavior, and organizational dynamics in the mining sector. The findings reveal a persistent gap between formal sustainability commitments and actual practices, frequently manifested in symbolic compliance and greenwashing. The review further demonstrates that human behavior—shaped by employee engagement, trust, perceived justice, and organizational culture—plays a decisive role in determining the effectiveness of sustainability governance. Moreover, the literature highlights the limitations of rigid, top-down governance models in managing the complexity and uncertainty inherent in mining systems, emphasizing the relevance of adaptive governance approaches that promote learning, flexibility, and stakeholder participation. This study contributes to the literature by integrating institutional, behavioral, and adaptive governance perspectives into a human-centered framework. Practically, it underscores the strategic role of human resource management in translating sustainability commitments into meaningful behavioral change and long-term sustainability outcomes in the mining sector.

Higher education management at the master's level currently faces urgent challenges, namely learning fatigue and low engagement among professional students, especially in Prior Learning Recognition (RPL) classes. Currently, lecturers still tend to apply conventional learning methods based on static presentations that fail to accommodate andragogical characteristics due to a lack of dynamic interaction. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the “Humanistic Digital Andragogy” approach through the integration of gamification (Kahoot) and visual thinking (Whimsical) in the Strategic Human Resource Management course. The researchers used a descriptive qualitative design with thematic analysis and collected data through feedback from students in the Master of Management Program (Semarang and Sorong classes). The results revealed that technology served as a double catalyst: Whimsical visualization effectively reduced the cognitive load of complex strategy material, while competition in Kahoot triggered positive adrenaline (eustress) that increased attention. These findings confirm that the success of technology is highly dependent on the role of lecturers as humanistic facilitators (high-touch). This synergy has been proven to change students' perceptions of HRM from merely administrative to strategic partners, as well as creating learning satisfaction that is relevant to the world of work.

Digital transformation in public health services requires cadres to possess adequate digital literacy and technology adaptation skills. This study aims to analyze the influence of digital literacy and technology adaptation on the effectiveness of cadre performance, with digital competence as an intervening variable in Pekalongan Regency. The study population was health cadres in Pekalongan Regency, with a sample of 90 respondents selected using a technique that was part of the total population of 285 respondents. Sampling used simple random sampling. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used [analytical methods, for example: Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) or Path Analysis] to examine direct and indirect relationships between variables. The research results are expected to provide an overview of: (1) the influence of digital literacy on the effectiveness of cadre performance, (2) the influence of technology adaptation on the effectiveness of cadre performance, (3) the influence of digital literacy on digital competence, (4) the influence of technology adaptation on digital competence, (5) the influence of digital competence on the effectiveness of cadre performance, and (6) the role of digital competence as an intervening variable in the relationship between digital literacy and technology adaptation on the effectiveness of cadre performance. The findings of this research are expected to serve as a basis for developing training programs and increasing the capacity of health cadres in the digital era, particularly in Pekalongan Regency.

This study aims to analyze the influence of Digital Financial Literacy and Organizational Culture on Employee Performance with Financial Information Systems as a mediating variable in Kodam IV/Diponegoro. Using an explanatory quantitative approach, data was collected through a survey of TNI and civil servant personnel who handle financial administration (purposive sampling) and analyzed using SmartPLS. The test results show that Digital Financial Literacy has a positive and significant effect directly on employee performance. On the other hand, Organizational Culture does not have a significant direct effect on performance, but has been proven to have a positive and significant impact on the effectiveness of the Financial Information System. The key findings of this study confirm the strategic position of the Financial Information System which functions as a full mediator for the Organizational Culture in improving performance, as well as being the strongest determinant factor. The implications of this study suggest a priority on strengthening the reliability of the system and the digital  competence of personnel in order to realize transparent and accountable defense governance.

This study aims to examine the influence of career development and work environment on employee performance through work awards as an intervening variable in the regional secretariat of Pekalongan Regency This research was conducted by a survey method of employees with job satisfaction as an intervening variable in the regional secretariat of Pekalongan Regency The sampling technique used in this study was a census of 56 respondents. Data collection through the dissemination of questionnaires, data analysis in this study uses SmartPLS The analysis used is Outer Model Test, Validity Test, Feasibility Test, Structural Model Test, Hypothesis Test. The results of the study showed that Career Development and work awards have a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction, Career Development and Work awards have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, Career Development variables and Work awards have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the synergy of humanistic and transformational leadership in building adaptability and digital competence of civil servants in the era of digital transformation. The research uses a narrative literature review approach by analyzing various literature from leading academic databases. The findings indicate that humanistic leadership creates a psychological foundation through empathy, respect for individual dignity, and psychological safety that facilitates civil servants to adapt to change without fear of failure. Meanwhile, transformational leadership acts as a catalyst by providing inspirational vision, intellectual stimulation, and motivation to master digital competencies. The synergy of these two leadership styles creates a holistic development ecosystem: humanistic leadership provides psychological safety to take learning risks, while transformational leadership provides energy and direction for continuous innovation. The theoretical implications of this research enrich the treasury of leadership theory in the context of public bureaucracy by identifying the complementary mechanisms of both leadership styles. Practical implications provide guidance for agency leaders to integrate humanistic values and transformational approaches in HR development programs to prepare civil servants who are resilient, adaptive, and digitally competent in facing the challenges of technological disruption and increasingly complex public service demands in the Society 5.0 era.

This study aims to analyze the effect of competency synergy and training on performance with job satisfaction both at the Department of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection and Population Control and Family Planning of Pekalongan Regency directly and indirectly. The population used is the Department of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection and Population Control and Family Planning of Pekalongan Regency 160 people, with a sampling technique using the Slovin formula totaling 114 respondents. The data collection method was carried out by means of a questionnaire, the analysis technique used was PLS (Partial Least Square). The results of the study showed that competency synergy had a positive and significant effect on performance optimization and training had a positive and significant effect on performance optimization. Competency synergy had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, training had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on performance optimization. And job satisfaction can intervene the effect of competency synergy on performance optimization and job satisfaction can intervene the effect of technology utilization on performance optimization

This study aims to examine the influence of employee engagement and intrinsic motivation on employee performance, and examine employee engagement and intrinsic motivation on organizational learning, as well as examine employee engagement and intrinsic motivation on employee performance through organizational learning. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) face increasing pressure to adapt to digital transformation and e-commerce in order to enhance marketing performance; however, their implementation is often constrained by limited technological utilization and low levels of consumer trust. This study aims to analyze the role of consumer trust as a mediating variable in the relationship between digital transformation, e-commerce adoption, and the marketing performance of MSMEs. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey of MSME actors in Semarang City to collect data on technology usage, consumer trust levels, and marketing performance outcomes. The results indicate that digital transformation and e-commerce adoption have a positive effect on marketing performance, while consumer trust significantly strengthens this relationship as an intervening variable. The study concludes that the success of MSME digitalization is highly dependent on the ability to build consumer trust; therefore, digital marketing strategies should prioritize enhancing credibility and improving customer experience.

This study aims to analyze the effect of digital financial literacy and economic stress on household financial management quality, with self-control as an intervening variable. This research adopts a quantitative approach using Partial Least Square–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to household respondents and analyzed using SmartPLS. The results indicate that digital financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on household financial management quality and self-control. In contrast, economic stress does not have a significant effect on either self-control or household financial management quality. Furthermore, self-control does not mediate the relationship between digital financial literacy and economic stress on household financial management quality. These findings highlight the importance of enhancing digital financial literacy to improve household financial management in the digital era.

This study explores the intellectual structure and research trends surrounding ethnocentrism in multinational corporations (MNCs) through a bibliometric mapping approach, with particular attention to cross-cultural management and workforce diversity studies. An initial dataset of 200 records was retrieved using Publish or Perish from Google Scholar and Crossref, of which 96 peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2020 and 2025 were retained following a PRISMA guided screening process. Bibliometric analysis was conducted using VOSviewer to examine keyword co occurrence, network relationships, and thematic density. The results indicate that ethnocentrism functions as a central organizing concept within the literature, closely associated with cultural differences, expatriation, workforce diversity, and organizational practices in multinational contexts. Temporal patterns observed in overlay and density visualizations suggest a growing scholarly emphasis on practice-oriented and context-specific perspectives, particularly in relation to managerial and organizational implications in global operations. Overall, this study offers a structured synthesis of existing research, highlights emerging thematic directions, and provides a foundation for future empirical and comparative inquiries into cultural diversity management in multinational corporations.

This study investigates the direct and indirect effects of transformational leadership and digital literacy on civil servant performance through the mediating role of adaptability. The research population comprised all 75 employees at the Regional Financial Management and Local Revenue Agency (BPKPAD) of Demak Regency, Indonesia. A saturated sampling method was employed, utilizing the entire population as respondents. Primary data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 3.3 software. The findings reveal that transformational leadership significantly and positively influences both civil servant adaptability and performance. Digital literacy demonstrates a significant positive impact on both adaptability and performance, emerging as the most dominant factor in the research model. Civil servant adaptability significantly and positively affects performance. However, mediation analysis indicates that adaptability does not significantly mediate the relationships between transformational leadership, digital literacy, and performance, suggesting that direct effects predominate over indirect effects in the BPKPAD Demak Regency context.

Digital transformation requires organizations to adapt by leveraging technology and reshaping their ways of working . In this context , digital leadership plays a crucial role in enhancing business performance . This study aims to examine the role of digital leadership on business performance through digital culture and process innovation in the era of digital transformation . This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving respondents from organizations that are undergoing or have implemented digital transformation initiatives . Data were analyzed using path analysis or Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test both direct and indirect relationships among variables . The results indicate that digital leadership has been positive and significant effect on business performance . Furthermore , digital culture and process innovation is proven to act as mediator variables that strengthen the influence of digital leadership on business performance . These findings highlights that leaders who are able to foster digital adoption , encourage collaboration , and continuously innovate business processes can create sustainable competitive advantages for organizations . This study contributes theoretically to the development of digital leadership literature and provides practical implications for organizational leaders in designing effective digital transformation strategies aimed at improving business performance .

This paper aims to analyze the influence of Human Resource Reform and Transformational Leadership on Civil Servant Professionalism, with Resistance to Change as a mediating variable. The research focuses on civil servants at the Semarang City Personnel, Education and Training Agency (BKPP Semarang City), an institution at the forefront of bureaucratic reform and talent management. A quantitative approach was employed through a survey of 77 civil servants using a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the direct and mediation relationships between the research variables. The results showed that Human Resources Reform of Civil Servants and Transformational Leadership had a positive and significant effect on ASN Professionalism. Transformational Leadership was also proven to reduce Resistance to Change, while Human Resources Reform had an indirect effect through reducing resistance. In addition, Resistance to Change had a significant negative effect on ASN Professionalism and mediated the relationship between Human Resources Reform of Civil Servants and ASN Professionalism. These findings confirm that merit system reform, competency development, and inspirational leadership are key factors in improving ASN professionalism, especially when psychological and structural barriers in the form of resistance to change can be minimized. This study provides theoretical contributions in the development of a model of ASN professionalism as well as practical recommendations for local governments in strengthening the implementation of bureaucratic reform.

This study analyzes the effect of digital payment implementation (X1) and transaction security (X2) on SME development (Y) with financial stability as a mediating variable (Z) in SMEs in Sorong City. This study examines the effect of digital payment implementation and transaction security on SME development with financial stability as a mediating variable. The study was conducted on MSMEs in Sorong City, Eastern Indonesia, using an explanatory quantitative approach. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS). The results of the study prove that the implementation of digital payments and transaction security has a positive and significant effect on financial stability. Furthermore, financial stability was found to have a positive and significant effect on MSME development, while fully mediating the effect of transaction security and partially mediating the effect of digital payment implementation on MSME development. These findings contribute to an integrated conceptual model that combines the technology acceptance paradigm with financial management theory, and provide a strategic roadmap for policymakers and implementation guidelines for MSME actors.
