This study discusses the strategic role of the village government in economic empowerment of local fishermen in Mengkait Village, Anambas Islands, Riau Islands Province. With a descriptive qualitative approach, this study illustrates how village governments facilitate training, fishing gear assistance, and the establishment of economic institutions to improve the welfare of fishermen. The results of the study show that the role of the village government is quite effective, characterized by increasing the capacity of fishermen, the involvement of vulnerable groups, and the participatory involvement of the community in development planning. However, some challenges are still faced, such as dependence on aid and weak financial literacy. These findings show that empowerment carried out in a planned, participatory, and local potential-based manner is able to create significant economic changes in coastal villages. This research is expected to be a policy reference for the empowerment of fishing communities in other 3T regions in Indonesia.

This study uses a qualitative method to explore how social media listening, combined with a machine learning approach, can be utilized to predict consumer trends in modern marketing strategies. In today’s digital era, social media serves as a rich data source for capturing consumer preferences, needs, and behaviors in real time. With machine learning algorithms such as natural language processing (NLP) and sentiment analysis, data from platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok can be processed to identify patterns that indicate market trends. This approach not only enables companies to respond quickly to consumer dynamics but also allows them to craft more targeted and data-driven marketing strategies. This study examines five major brands that implement social media listening as part of their digital strategy by observing consumer conversations, dominant emotions, and viral issues. The findings show that the integration of social media listening and machine learning can serve as an effective predictive tool in developing adaptive and contextual marketing campaigns.

Palm oil is a strategic commodity in the Indonesian economy. Innovation in palm oil filtration is needed to improve the quality and sustainability of production. This article aims to provide insight into the mechanism of the Oil Purification tool based on the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method and compare it with conventional methods. The method used is a literature review from secondary sources such as journals and scientific articles related to palm oil filtration technology. The results showed that conventional methods have disadvantages such as high oil loss, suboptimal FFA control, and large environmental impacts. In contrast, the Oil Purification tool with QFD and clean production approach offers efficiency, ease of maintenance, and healthier and environmentally friendly filtration results. This innovation is an adaptive and economical solution for small and medium-scale industries.

Indonesia, as an archipelagic nation with a vast marine territory, possesses significant coral reef ecosystems, including those in Bengkulu. However, the condition of coral reefs in Bengkulu has suffered damage due to human activities and natural factors. The Bengkulu Provincial Government issued Regional Regulation Number 5 of 2019 concerning the Management of Coastal Areas and Small Islands as a protective measure, but the effectiveness of its implementation has not been optimal. This research aims to analyze the implementation of this Regional Regulation in the protection of coral reefs in Bengkulu waters and to identify the challenges faced. Employing a normative legal research method with a literature study, this research examines laws and regulations, scientific literature, and related news. The research results indicate that the Regional Regulation has been implemented through various programs such as coral reef restoration, marine debris management, and socialization. However, its effectiveness is hampered by a lack of public awareness, weak supervision, and insufficient control over tourism activities. Further efforts are needed to increase public awareness, strengthen supervision, and manage tourism activities sustainably to achieve effective coral reef protection in Bengkulu.

Dormant status on a bank account is a condition in which an account is declared inactive because there have been no transactions for a certain period of time, so that it is automatically frozen by the bank. In Indonesian banking practices, changes in account status to dormant are often carried out based on the bank's internal policy without any clear notification to customers. This raises legal issues, especially related to the protection of customer rights to their funds, transparency of information, and access to financial services. The purpose of this study is to examine the extent to which the State provides legal protection that will be received by customers against the policy of automatically changing account status to dormant, as well as to evaluate the regulations in the Indonesian banking legal system. This study uses a normative legal approach, namely an approach that is based on literature studies by examining positive law, legal doctrine, and relevant literature. The approaches used include the statute approach and the conceptual approach. The results of the study indicate that legal protection for customers with dormant account status is still weak because there are no specific regulations that explicitly regulate this matter. The applicable legal regulations are still inclusive or general and do not sufficiently guarantee legal certainty and justice for customers. Therefore, special regulations are needed from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and Bank Indonesia that establish transparent mechanisms, easy procedures, and balanced protection of customer rights. It is hoped that strengthening these regulations can increase public trust in the banking system and guarantee justice and legal certainty.

This study analyzes the comparison of peer-to-peer (P2P) lending contract law in the perspective of positive law and Islamic law. Major problems in the industry include the risk of default, contract defects, and a lack of transparency. The research method used is literature research. The results show that positive laws provide a framework for consumer protection, but are often inadequate in protecting vulnerable parties. On the other hand, Islamic law emphasizes justice and the prohibition of usury, although the practice in the field is not yet fully appropriate. The study recommends collaboration between regulators and service providers to create a fair and law-abiding system. This is expected to contribute to the development of P2P lending policies and practices that are more sustainable and in accordance with sharia principles.

Islamic boarding schools are Islamic educational institutions that aim to understand, appreciate, and practice the teachings of Islam by emphasizing the importance of religious morals as guidelines in everyday social life. In pesantren, students are expected to apply good values in interactions with fellow students. However, the understanding of the impact of bullying is still unclear for some students. Bullying behavior often occurs unconsciously as part of social interaction, for example, teasing which is initially considered a joke, but then develops into a serious problem. Through this counseling, it is hoped that students can better understand the negative impacts that may arise due to bullying. The method of implementing this community service is in the form of counseling with slide presentation media and infocus, which was conducted at one of the Islamic Boarding Schools in South Tangerang. During the education process, pesantren also face various problems, one of which is bullying which often occurs due to lack of supervision from the pesantren. With this counseling, it is hoped that students will be more aware and understand the bad consequences of bullying.

Bandung Village has strong economic potential through the development of local handicraft business units and Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes), but in its financial management the village experienced a decline in Village Original Revenue (PADes) from IDR 100 million in 2023 to IDR 93 million in 2024. The decline in PADes is an important indicator that reflects possible inefficiencies or weaknesses in aspects of governance, particularly accountability. This paper aims to capture an evaluation of the accountability of the use of APBDes in Bandung Village, Banjar Sub-district, Pandeglang Regency in managing its budget. With a focus on its impact on the effectiveness of community empowerment. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. The research was conducted in Bandung Village, Banjar Sub-district, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province. Data was collected through interviews, observations, literature studies, and documentation using Policy Evaluation theory and Accountability theory. The results showed that from the analysis using evaluation theory, there were indicators that had not been met, namely adequacy and equity due to limited resources, namely funds provided by the central government. However, the analysis using accountability theory has fulfilled all indicators due to the strong commitment of the village government to advance the village. This accountability can be seen through reports on each program outcome and evidence of content uploaded on social media such as TikTok and Instagram.
