This article explores the comparison between money politics and cost politics in the context of the political process and its influence on democratic integrity. Money politics reflects corrupt practices in which wealth is used to manipulate election outcomes or political decisions, while cost politics includes costs related to campaigns, regulations, and citizen participation in the political process. In distinguishing these two concepts, this article highlights their role in shaping the strengths and weaknesses of democracy and the challenges in strengthening political integrity. By analyzing case studies and theoretical concepts, this article aims to present a clearer understanding of the differences between money politics and cost politics, as well as promote efforts to address corruption and increase transparency in the political process.

The rise in the phenomenon of using Artificial Intelligence such as ChatGPT and the very high trust of the Indonesian people in the development of Artificial Intelligence, especially the Gen Z generation group with Higher Education status (students), has given rise to debate in terms of the impact of its uses as a technology that helps the learning process. On the positive side, ChatGPT can provide personalized and interactive learning, while on the negative side, ChatGPT can provide incorrect and inaccurate information. Meanwhile, penetration of its uses can no longer be avoided because it is easy to access, so the good and bad sides will continue to be felt, especially for its users. Moreover, until now there is still very little research on how this technology can help fulfill the needs of students within the research campus, especially the most important need for them as someone who is pursuing higher education, namely the need for satisfying learning. Therefore, this research aims to explain the relationship between the uses of ChatGPT and the fulfillment of learning needs for students at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University with the help of the Uses and Gratification theory approach. The research method usesd is a quantitative method with a type of correlational study design using the Spearman Rank correlation test The results of this study show that there is a positive and significant relationship between the uses of ChatGPT and fulfilling the learning needs of students at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University with a correlation coefficient of 0.834. So, it can be concluded that the higher the uses of ChatGPT, the higher the fulfillment of students' learning needs, which means that frequent uses of ChatGPT can indicate that it is closely related to satisfying learning needs.

The importance of managing staff performance in an organization or company, including aspects of discipline and compensation. Staff performance plays an important role in achieving the organization's goals. Work discipline and compensation relationships are very important factors in improving the quality of staff performance. Thus, the problem of non-discipline in the environment of an agency does not continue and can be solved. This study aims to determine the relationship of work discipline on employee performance of Badan Pengelolaan Pajak dan Retribusi Daerah Kota Tanjungpinang, the relationship of compensation on employee performance of Badan Pengelolaan Pajak dan Retribusi Daerah Kota Tanjungpinang, the relationship of work discipline and compensation on employee performance of Badan Pengelolaan Pajak dan Retribusi Kota Tanjungpinang. The research is a associate causality using quantitative methods. The sample of this study is 42 employee of Badan Pengelolaan Pajak dan Retribusi Daerah Kota Tanjungpinang. Data collection uses questionnaires while data analysis techniques use correlation analysis. Based on data analysis, it was concluded that there was no significant relationship between work discipline and staff performance, there was a significant link between staff performance compensation, and there was an important link between employment discipline, and staff performances compensation.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mensintesis n-HAp (Hydroxyapatite nanoparticle) secara alami dari limbah cangkang bekicot dan mengevaluasi aktivitas antibakterinya sebagai kandidat material biomedis. Limbah cangkang bekicot telah diidentifikasi sebagai sumber potensial untuk memperoleh n-HAp, yaitu salah satu material bioaktif yang memiliki aplikasi luas dalam bidang biomedis. Proses sintesis n-HAp dilakukan menggunakan metode sol-gel dan dikarakterisasi dengan menggunakan teknik analisis FTIR, XRD, dan SEM. Hasil karakterisasi XRD menunjukkan bahwa n-HAp yang dihasilkan memiliki kesesuaian yang baik terhadap data model. Lebih lanjut, pembentukan n-HAp dari cangkang bekicot juga dikonfirmasi dengan FTIR. Keberhasilan sintesis ini ditandai dengan adanya vibrasi pita P-O dari tetrahedral PO4 disekitar bilangan gelombang 1062 cm-1. Gugus karbonat CO32? pada spektra IR juga diidentifikasi dengan kuat pada bilangan 1460 cm?1. Selain itu, berdasarkan analisis SEM, ukuran partikel n-HAp berada dikisaran 43,2 nm. Untuk menunjang potensi aplikasinya sebagai material biomedis, uji aktivitas antibakteri juga dilakukan pada bakteri Staphylococcus aureus melalui metode sumuran agar. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa n-HAp memiliki zona hambat sebesar 5 mm dan menunjukkan potensi aktivitas antibakteri yang cukup baik. Hal ini dikaitkan dengan keberadaan mineral Ca2+ (kalsium) dan Na+ (natrium) yang terkandung pada n- Hap. Kehadiran ion kalsium dan natrium ini dapat mengganggu keseimbangan ion dalam sel dan mengganggu berbagai proses biologis dalam sel bakteri,sehingga, aktivitas metabolisme dan reproduksi bakteri dapat terganggu dan mengakibatkan penghambatan pertumbuhan bakteri.

Cataract is an eye disorder that occurs due to changes in the lens of the eye that is clear and translucent which can reduce the ability of vision to blindness. Cataract surgery is one of the most effective methods for cataract treatment. This study aims to determine the relationship between perioperative knowledge with anxiety levels of pre cataract surgery patients in RSU Bhakti Asih Tangerang. This research was conducted at RSU Bhakti Asih Tangerang with the research design used in this study being descriptive analytical using the cross-sectional method. The population in this study were pre-cataract surgery patients at RSU Bhakti Asih Tangerang who underwent surgery in October 2024, namely 120 patients and the sample used was 60 patients with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. The results of the Spearman's Rho test showed a significant negative correlation between perioperative knowledge and patient anxiety levels, with a coefficient of r = -0.610 and p-value = 0.000. This finding indicates that the better the perioperative knowledge a patient has, the lower the level of anxiety they feel before cataract surgery. The results of this study can be considered by health workers to help improve patient perioperactive knowledge such as holding seminars or webinars, distribution of educational pamphlets, so that the level of anxiety experienced by preoperative patients decreases.

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tunjuan untuk menginvestigasi solusi secara teoritis penerapan design thinking dalam mengidentifikasi potensi desa yang nantinya akan dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan asli desa. Setelah pemerintah menerbitkan Undang-Undang Desa, maka peran desa semakin meningkat karena desa memiliki kewenangan untuk mengembangkan strategi pelaksanaan pembangunan di wilayah masing-masing melalui pengelolaan potensi desa yang dimiliki sehingga dapat meningkatkan derajat kesejahteraan masyarakat desa tersebut. Namun demikian ada pula desa yang memiliki kendala yaitu merasa kesulitan atau tidak mampu menemukan potensi desa yang akan dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan asli desa. Permasalahan ini  dapat menghambat pembangunan sehingga perlu segera diatasi. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini mencoba mencari alternatif solusi yang tepat untuk mengatasi permasalahan bagi desa yang masih kesulitan mengidentifikasi potensi desa untuk dikembangkan. Salah satu metode yang ditawarkan oleh peneliti yaitu penerapan design thinking untuk mengkaji secara teoritis berdasarkan literatur sebagai hal baru bahwa metode ini dapat menjadi solusi terhadap permasalahan yang ada. Metode penelitian yang digunakan penelitian literatur review. Pada setiap tahapan design thinking dilakukan analisa dan simulasi secara teoritis untuk memberikan gambaran yang jelas bahwa secara teori konsep desain thinking dapat diterapkan untuk mengatasi masalah penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode design thinking dapat digunakan dalam mengidentifikasi potensi desa yang akan dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan asli desa.

This research explains the consequences of divorce according to the laws of the Dayak traditional community in Central Kalimantan province. The research method used is normative using primary and secondary legal materials. Customary law is one of the laws recognized in Indonesia. Customary law in Central Kalimantan is implemented by the existence of Dayak traditional institutions in Central Kalimantan which have been outlined in Central Kalimantan Province Regional Regulation No. 16 of 2008 and Central Kalimantan Governor Regulation no. 13 of 2009 concerning Dayak Traditional Institutions in Central Kalimantan. It is clear that customary law is a separate legal system so that it is different from other legal systems. The results of this research show that the consequences of divorce carried out by the Dayak traditional community are not only regulated by positive law in force in Indonesia, namely Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage, but are also regulated by Dayak customary law based on Regional Regulations. Kalimantan Province Regional Regulations. 16 of 2008 concerning Dayak Traditional Institutions in Central Kalimantan, there are Dayak customary punishments and marriage agreements carried out by parties from the Dayak traditional community.

Some of the weaknesses of this old system are: 1) the asset/asset management system is still simple, 2) fixed asset/asset data is not yet integrated and does not have a database, 3) there are inconsistencies and calculation errors, 4) the recording and reporting system is still takes quite a long time to process, 5) incomplete data will have an impact on inappropriate decision making, and 6) the absence of an integrated Accounting Information System (AIS) means that the management of fixed assets/assets in the company cannot be carried out properly because the data The condition, condition and value of the company's fixed assets/assets have not been recorded properly and accurately. This research designs an AIS for calculating and reporting depreciation of fixed assets using the straight line depreciation method using Visual Basic 6.0 and MySQL. The objectives of this research are: 1) to help calculate depreciation of fixed assets/assets owned by the company, 2) to provide information about the detailed condition of each asset/fixed asset owned by the company so as to help the company in managing fixed assets/assets, and 3) to help present precise and accurate reports for the purposes of the company's internal financial reports and taxation.

Giant Bee Gallery is one of the galleries that can be visited by tourists in Malacca, Malaysia. Giant Bee was founded in 1978 by Mr Ong Kang Peng. The aim of establishing the Giant Bee Gallery is that apart from selling various types of honey, the Giant Bee Gallery also aims to spread knowledge to visitors about bees and their habitat. This service activity was carried out on October 31 2023 and was attended by a service team of 14 students along with 2 accompanying lecturers. The method of implementing this service activity is carried out through several stages, namely initial and preparatory activities, implementation of activities, and evaluation of activities. The result of this service activity is that the service team was able to learn a lot about bees and beekeeping and buy several delicious and healthy honey products. The types of honey in Giant Bee consist of royal jelly, propolis, bee venom honey, pupa, pollen, bee's wax, trigona honey, super honey, apple vinegar honey. Each of the 9 honeys has its own benefits.
