Abstrak:
The extractive political economy chosen by the New Oder since the beginning of its rule has transformed natural resource-rich areas in Indonesia into areas at the heart of global capitalism. In the past, extractive politics began by opening the tap for foreign capital to exploit forests, converting scrubland into monoculture plantations and exploiting coal deposits. At the same time, colonial demographic politics were revived to open up major extractive areas, transforming scrubland from former HPH concessions into agricultural areas, alongside coal mining exploration. Tenggarong Seberang District, East Kalimantan has experienced social reconfiguration many times, from an area with a subsistence production model to a major coal extractive area in Kutai Kartanegara Regency. This article describes how Manunggal Jaya Village, which was previously managed by the local farming community, became a center for transmigrant settlements that successfully transformed the village into a center for Kutai rice farming during the New Order era; and drastically changed into a center for supporting services for the multinational mining industry after regional autonomy. The research was conducted for 2 months involving 3 researchers, 2 research assistants throughout August-October 2024. Primary data was collected through observation and in-depth interviews with 10 key informants. The results of the study found a social reconfiguration of the position and role of transmigrant farmers in Tenggarong Seberang. Transmigrants came from poor areas in East Java, became the dominant social class throughout the 1980s-90s, changed drastically into the most vulnerable marginal class entering the mid-2000s. Agricultural land conversion to mining sites, reduced government support; pressures from companies, village bureaucrats, and land brokers have placed significant burdens on farmers. They face water scarcity, land degradation, pollution, new pests, and psychological stress; discouraging younger generations from farming and leaving remaining farmers to struggle under these challenges.

The people of Pecekelan Village, Sepuran District, Wonosobo Regency, Central Java, face a unique challenge in the form of an unpleasant odor from cattle pens adjacent to settlements, reflecting a strong agrarian life but interfering with daily comfort. In response to this situation, the Community Service Lecture (KPM) team from the University of Al-Quran Science developed an innovation in making aromatherapy candles made from used cooking oil as a natural solution to eliminate the smell of cages. This initiative not only aims to overcome the odor problem, but also to utilize household waste into useful products, create economical and environmentally friendly solutions, and improve the quality of life of village communities. This program is carried out through a series of activities including socialization, aromatherapy candle making training, product trials, and basic entrepreneurship training. Early results show effectiveness in reducing cage odors, improving home comfort, and creating a healthier environment. Furthermore, this program increases public awareness about waste management, encourages active participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness, and opens up new economic opportunities. This simple but impactful innovation has the potential to be applied in other areas with similar problems, promoting a sustainable approach in addressing environmental challenges at the household level while empowering local communities.

This research uses a systematic review and meta-analysis using PICO. Population: teenagers. Intervention: social media. Comparison: not social media. Outcome: anxiety. The articles used in this research come from 1 database, namely Google Scholar. The keywords of the article are “teenager” AND “social media” AND “anxiety” AND “multivariate”. The articles included in this research are full paper articles, cross-sectional study design, publication year range 2017-2024 and the magnitude of the Adjusted Odds Ratio relationship. Articles were analyzed using the Review Manager 5.4 application. Five cross-sectional studies showed that social media can increase the risk of anxiety disorders by 1 times greater than not using social media, and the results were statistically (aOR=1.00; 95% CI= 0.63 to 1.57; p= 0.01). Teenagers who use social media increase anxiety disorders.

Abstrak:
Akidah Akhlak as a subject in Islamic education at MI PSM Gedoro often faces challenges in student engagement due to its perceived monotony. In this study, the Jigsaw learning model is applied to address this issue, with the aim of clarifying the teacher's presentation of the material, addressing active student participation, and overcoming space limitations to make learning more effective. In this model, the teacher provides each student with the opportunity to study a portion of the material so that they become experts in their respective areas. This expertise is then taught to their peers in other groups. Peers in other groups also study different parts of the material and become experts in their areas. The interaction that occurs is a sharing pattern of learning, where each student gains high confidence due to having unique expertise needed by others. Each student will feel interdependent and reliant on others. The choice of the Jigsaw learning model for the Akidah Akhlak subject is intentionally made to engage students actively during the learning process, review previously learned material, gain a detailed understanding of the content, and build good cooperation among peers. Classroom Action Research (CAR) is used as the research methodology. The results of the first cycle show that 34.78% of students scored above 75, which increased to 82.61% in the second cycle. This indicates that the Jigsaw learning model effectively enhances student engagement and learning result.
