Increasing business competition requires companies to consistently improve quality and operational efficiency. This study aims to identify and reduce non-value added activities in the procurement process at Distributor X, a company engaged in the distribution of instant cooking spices. Common issues include expired goods (49.05%), damaged packaging (18.78%), and product mismatches (32.17%). The Lean Six Sigma approach with the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) method is used to address these problems. Measurement results show an average DPMO value of 10,076.58 and a sigma level of 3.82, which are still far below the Six Sigma quality standard. Improvement proposals include the implementation of barcode/RFID systems, FIFO inventory management, higher-quality packaging materials, and the use of unique product codes. In the Control phase, monitoring is carried out through an ERP system and the establishment of structured SOPs to support distribution oversight. This approach demonstrates potential in reducing defect rates and improving the overall quality of the procurement process.

The spice industry faces significant challenges in maintaining product weight consistency as part of quality assurance and compliance with production standards. A case at PT X revealed that a newly installed filling machine produced deviations from the target weight of 50 grams, with hypothesis testing showing that out of 30 samples, 17 samples fell outside the  confidence interval. To mitigate this issue, this study proposes the development of a real-time data-driven Decision Support sistem (DSS) combined with statistical approaches. The methodology includes two-tailed hypothesis testing to detect weight deviations and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify dominant failure causes based on high Risk Priority Numbers (RPN), such as delayed machine calibration, operator error, and worn-out machine components. These findings serve as the foundation for designing the DSS architecture, which consists of sensor input modules, statistical data processing, risk mapping, and an automated corrective recommendation engine. The sistem is designed to enable early detection of deviations, accelerate response time to quality issues, and support data-driven decision-making on the production floor. The study concludes that a structured implementation of DSS can be an effective strategy to improve product weight consistency and enhance operational efficiency in spice manufacturing.

Skin that is prone to bacterial infections requires proper care using products containing antibacterial agents. One potential alternative is kaffir lime leaves (Citrus hystrix), which are known to contain antibacterial compounds. This study aimed to evaluate the formulation of liquid soap containing kaffir lime leaf extract and to determine the optimal concentration for inhibiting bacterial growth. An experimental laboratory design was applied, and the antibacterial effectiveness was tested using the disk diffusion method against two test bacteria, namely Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. Statistical analysis was performed using One-Way ANOVA, followed by Scheffe’s post-hoc test to identify significant differences among treatment groups. The results indicated that the liquid soap containing kaffir lime leaf extract exhibited good physical quality and met standard parameters, including organoleptic evaluation, pH, viscosity, and foam height tests. Antibacterial testing showed that the highest inhibition zone against Staphylococcus aureus was observed at a 15% concentration with a zone diameter of 18.28 mm (strong category), while the highest inhibition zone against Escherichia coli was also at a 15% concentration with a diameter of 19.03 mm (strong category). The One-Way ANOVA results showed a significance value (p < 0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference among treatments for both bacterial species. These findings suggest that liquid soap formulated with kaffir lime leaf extract, particularly at a 15% concentration, has strong antibacterial activity and potential as an effective skin care product. Further studies are recommended to evaluate safety, stability, and long-term effectiveness.

Psychological violence against children remains a critical issue that is often overlooked because it does not leave visible physical injuries, yet its long-term consequences can significantly hinder children’s emotional, social, and academic development. Addressing this problem requires not only legal and institutional measures but also preventive efforts at the family and community levels. The Community Service Program (KKN) entitled “Safe Home Supporting Child Development” in Desa Nusawungu was designed as a community-based educational initiative to raise parents’ awareness of the importance of creating an emotionally safe home environment. The program was implemented through the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) method, which integrated structured material presentations, individual reflections using digital forms, and interactive group discussions. This combination allowed participants to gain knowledge, critically reflect on their own parenting practices, and share experiences with peers. The results revealed a notable increase in parents’ awareness of the detrimental effects of psychological violence on children’s well-being, their readiness to adopt positive parenting strategies, and their ability to identify challenges commonly faced in daily child-rearing practices. Moreover, participants expressed enthusiasm for sustaining similar activities in the future, highlighting the importance of continuous learning and the establishment of a parent learning community. The program demonstrated that simple, low-cost, and locally adapted interventions can effectively enhance parenting literacy, reduce the risk of psychological violence, and strengthen the developmental foundation of children during their golden age. These findings suggest that empowering parents through participatory education can serve as a replicable model for other communities facing similar challenges, thus contributing to the broader goal of ensuring children’s rights to grow in a safe and nurturing environment.

This study examines the comparative profitability of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk before and during the boycott issue that emerged as part of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement in 2023. Profitability was selected as the focus because it is a key financial performance indicator that reflects the company’s ability to generate returns under changing social and economic pressures. The research aims to evaluate differences in financial performance using three indicators: Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Net Profit Margin (NPM) across two periods, namely before the boycott (2021–2022) and during the boycott (2023–2024). Employing a quantitative descriptive-comparative approach, the study analyzed financial ratios and applied the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The findings reveal a decline in ROA from 30.20% (2021) and 29.29% (2022) to 28.81% (2023) and 20.99% (2024), as well as a drop in NPM from 14.56% and 13.02% to 12.49% and 9.59% during the boycott period. Conversely, ROE increased to 156.74% in 2024, largely driven by a sharper decline in equity compared to net profit. Nevertheless, statistical testing indicates no significant difference in profitability between the two periods. These results suggest that while profitability trends weakened, the boycott had no statistically significant impact, implying that investor and consumer responses were not strong or sustained enough to materially affect financial performance.

This study aims to analyze the influence of liquidity, leverage, profitability, and company size on the share prices of companies that are members of the Investor33 index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2023 period. This study uses a quantitative approach with purposive sampling techniques, so that 17 companies out of a total of 46 companies that meet the criteria are obtained. The data used is secondary data in the form of annual financial statements obtained from the IDX's official website. The analysis method used was multiple linear regression with the help of the Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) software version 25. The results of the analysis show that the leverage and profitability variables have a significant effect on the stock price, which indicates that the company's capital structure and ability to generate profits are important factors in the investor's assessment. In contrast, the liquidity variables and company size do not show a significant influence on the stock price, which means that the company's ability to meet short-term obligations and operational scale are not the main determinants in the formation of the stock price on the index. These findings provide implications for investors and company management to pay more attention to profitability and leverage aspects in financial strategies and investment decision-making. This research can also be a reference for further studies related to the analysis of financial ratios and capital market dynamics in Indonesia.

The rapid development of the pharmaceutical industry in Indonesia presents both an opportunity and a challenge in increasing company value amidst the dynamics of an increasingly digital and competitive capital market. This phenomenon demonstrates that strong operational performance does not always translate into high market value, making it crucial to identify internal factors that influence company value, particularly in the pharmaceutical subsector, which plays a strategic role in Indonesia. This research aims to analyze the effect of Working Capital Turnover, Cash Turnover, Liquidity, and Profit Growth on Company Value in pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2021-2024 period. The research method used was quantitative with an explanatory approach. The sampling technique used total sampling, with a sample size of 10 companies. Secondary data, in the form of financial statements, were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that only Cash Turnover significantly impacts company value, with a negative effect, while Working Capital Turnover, Liquidity, and Profit Growth do not. These findings suggest that efficient working capital management and consistent profit growth play a crucial role in increasing the value of pharmaceutical companies. This research is expected to be a reference for management in strategic decision making and for academics for further research.

This study aims to analyze the role of psychological well-being as a mediator in the influence of emotional, spiritual, and intellectual intelligence on lecturer performance, with job demands as a moderating variable. The study used a quantitative design with a survey method on 130 university lecturers. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire that measured emotional, spiritual, intellectual intelligence, psychological well-being, job demands, and lecturer performance, then analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM-PLS). The results showed that emotional intelligence did not significantly influence lecturer psychological well-being or performance. Intellectual and spiritual intelligence had a significant positive effect on psychological well-being, but did not have a direct impact on performance. Psychological well-being was also not proven to be a mediator in the relationship between the three intelligences and performance. Conversely, job demands had a strong and significant direct influence on lecturer performance, although its moderating role in the relationship between psychological well-being and performance was not supported. These findings confirm that external factors such as workload and job pressure are more dominant in determining lecturer performance than internal psychological factors. Practically, the implications of this study encourage universities to manage workload distribution proportionally, provide organizational support, and create a conducive work environment. Theoretically, this study enriches the Job Demands–Resources framework by demonstrating that psychological well-being has a limited impact when job demands are high. Future research is recommended using more valid instruments and longitudinal designs to gain a deeper understanding.

The Computer-Based National Assessment (ANBK) is an essential instrument designed to comprehensively measure student competence, including literacy, numeracy, and character aspects. However, in practice, many students still face various challenges during preparation, such as cognitive limitations, psychological readiness, and technical barriers, which affect their overall readiness to participate in ANBK. This study aims to analyze the readiness level of students at SMP Negeri 2 Kuala by employing the Rough Set method. The variables examined include digital literacy, subject matter understanding, psychological readiness, and school facility support. Data were collected from 250 ninth-grade students through structured questionnaires and subsequently processed using the Rosetta software to perform attribute reduction and generate decision rules. The findings indicate that digital literacy, subject matter understanding, and psychological readiness are the most influential variables in determining student readiness, while facility support serves only as a complementary factor. The extraction process generated seven decision rules with an accuracy level of 100%, which effectively classified students into three readiness categories: highly ready, ready, and less ready. These results confirm that the Rough Set method is highly effective for identifying dominant factors and producing decision rules that can guide schools in developing targeted strategies to enhance student readiness for ANBK.
