This service is in the form of counseling and assistance in drafting village regulations for the BPD in Gebangan Village, Krejengan District, Probolinggo Regency. The material that will be provided is about the urgency of village regulations both philosophically, sociologically and legally and the techniques and mechanisms for drafting village regulations practically. The target of this service is BPD members and the Gebangan Village apparatus, Krejengan District. This service was taken as a strategic step and to provide an understanding of the urgency of forming village regulations and the mechanisms for drafting them. Because generally, BPD and village apparatus do not have the ability to draft village regulations, especially in Gebangan Village, even though the issuance of Law No. 6 of 2014 concerning Villages demands BPD productivity in producing legal products, especially in. This condition occurs because most BPD and its members do not have an educational background in the legal field, many are even only junior high and high school graduates or even did not graduate from school, so they do not understand enough about the issues in village regulations. In addition to not knowing about the procedures and mechanisms for drafting village regulations. Through this Community Service, it is hoped that it will become a strategic means for BPD members and Gebangan Village officials to be able to draft village regulations, so that they can get out of problems related to legal gaps in village programs.

The use of medicinal plants as herbal beverages has long been a part of Indonesian culture. However, the less preferred taste and aroma are obstacles to consumer acceptance. Cat's Whiskers leaves (Orthosiphon aristatus) are known to contain bioactive compounds that act as antioxidants, while Key Lime leaves (Citrus aurantifolia) have a fresh aroma and functional properties that can enhance flavor and health benefits. This study aims to evaluate the effect of adding Key Lime leaves (Citrus aurantifolia) on the chemical characteristics, sensory properties, and effectiveness of brewed Cat's Whiskers (Orthosiphon aristatus) leaf beverages.Five formulations with varying concentrations of Key Lime leaves (0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%) were tested based on the parameters of moisture content, ash content, pH, solubility, antioxidant activity, and organoleptic tests including color, aroma, taste, and texture. The results showed that the addition of Key Lime leaves significantly improved the chemical quality and sensory acceptability, with the best formulation obtained in treatment P4 (20% Key Lime leaves + 15g Cat's Whiskers), which provided an optimal balance between stability, nutritional content, and organoleptic quality. The addition of Key Lime leaves is recommended as an innovation in the development of functional herbal beverages based on Cat's Whiskers.

This community service program aims to enhance the visibility and competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Nusawungu Village through the creation of business location pins on Google Maps. The background of this initiative lies in the main challenges faced by local entrepreneurs, namely limited access to marketing channels and low digital exposure. Many businesses have been operating for years but remain difficult to find due to the absence of a clear digital identity, particularly on online maps. Therefore, this program focuses on utilizing Google Maps as an effective, low-cost, and accessible promotional medium. The program adopts the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, emphasizing the active involvement of MSME actors in each implementation stage. The process began with mapping and collecting data on existing businesses, followed by classifying them into categories such as culinary, crafts, services, and trade. The next steps included filling in complete addresses, determining accurate coordinates, and uploading business and product photos. Verification of Google Maps profiles was then carried out to ensure that the businesses became officially accessible to the public. Furthermore, participants received guidance on adding supporting information, including operating hours, contact numbers, and social media links. The results demonstrated that all registered MSMEs successfully created active Google Maps profiles with complete information. The outcomes include increased consumer accessibility in locating businesses, recognizing available products or services, and directly contacting owners. This implementation has proven to make a significant contribution to market reach expansion and the strengthening of digital marketing strategies without requiring additional financial costs. These findings align with previous studies affirming the effectiveness of Google Maps as a promotional tool and a means of empowering MSMEs in rural areas. Moreover, this initiative opens opportunities for further development through integration with other digital platforms.

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the success of development in Kesiman Kertalangu Village. The factors examined include village institution revenue, labor force, investment, and community participation. Development, in general, can be defined as efforts to enhance the productivity of resources owned by a region, such as natural resources, human resources, and financial resources. However, development in Kesiman Kertalangu Village faces challenges, namely changes in economic structure and land use conversion, which impact the regional development. This research employs a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis to examine the relationship between independent variables (village institution revenue, labor force, investment, and community participation) and the dependent variable (village development success). The data used are secondary time series data collected annually from 1995 to 2024. Data were gathered through literature review by obtaining information from credible official sources, including government agencies, the Central Bureau of Statistics, and the Kesiman Kertalangu Village Office. Data analysis was conducted using Eviews 12 software. The results indicate that village institution revenue, labor force, investment, and community participation simultaneously have a significant effect on the success of development in Kesiman Kertalangu Village. Moreover, labor force, investment, and community participation have a positive and significant partial effect on development success, while village institution revenue has a positive but not significant partial effect. The findings also reveal that investment is the most dominant factor influencing the success of development in Kesiman Kertalangu Village. Theoretically, the finding that investment has a dominant influence on the success of Kesiman Kertalangu Village development strengthens the Solow growth model, Robert Chambers' participatory theory, and Amartya Sen's capacity building concept. Practically, the research results provide strategic direction for village governments and stakeholders in designing participation- based development policies, increasing fiscal capacity, and empowering local workers.

This study examines two main issues related to palm oil trading transactions in Kuala Keritang Village, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province. The first issue concerns the analysis of pricing mechanisms in palm oil trading, while the second focuses on the review of Islamic business ethics in such transactions. The objective of this research is to understand in detail how the price determination system operates in the local palm oil market and to assess the extent to which these trading practices align with the principles of Islamic business ethics. To address these issues, a qualitative descriptive method was employed. This approach was chosen because it allows for a comprehensive description of facts, data, and trading mechanisms while providing space for critical analysis in relation to Islamic values. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, which were then described, analyzed, and discussed in order to answer the research questions thoroughly. The findings indicate that, in general, palm oil trading practices in Kuala Keritang Village are similar to other common trading systems, but they differ in terms of price-setting mechanisms. In practice, the price of palm oil is largely determined by buyers based on market conditions, which often creates injustice for farmers as sellers. From the perspective of Islamic business ethics, this practice does not fully comply with the principles of fairness, honesty, and mutual benefit, which are essential foundations of Islamic economic transactions. The study concludes that violations of Islamic business ethics principles, particularly regarding fairness in pricing, still occur in palm oil trading within the village. Therefore, improvements are needed in the transaction system so that palm oil trading in Kuala Keritang can be carried out in accordance with sharia principles, ensuring justice and mutual benefit for both sellers and buyers.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in supporting regional economic growth, job creation, and equitable distribution of community welfare. In Cilegon City, MSMEs are growing rapidly in various sectors, but still face a number of fundamental challenges. The main problems faced include limited access to capital, low utilization of digital technology in business activities, limited managerial capacity, and less than optimal regulatory support oriented towards strengthening MSMEs. These conditions cause the competitiveness of MSMEs to be relatively weak compared to the large business sector, so that their contribution to the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of Cilegon City is not optimal. This study aims to analyze policy strategies that can support the development of MSMEs in Cilegon City through a descriptive qualitative approach. The method used is a literature study and policy analysis by examining regulations, local government policies, and relevant previous research results. The analysis results show that there are several strategies that can be implemented, including: strengthening regulations and policies that favor MSMEs, expanding access to financing through collaboration with financial and banking institutions, developing human resource capacity through entrepreneurship and business management training, utilizing digital technology to expand market access, and building synergies between local governments, the private sector, and other supporting institutions. The implementation of these strategies is expected to increase the competitiveness of MSMEs, expand marketing networks, and encourage MSMEs to be more adaptive to technological developments and market needs. Thus, MSMEs in Cilegon City can make a more significant contribution to regional economic growth, create new jobs, and support sustainable economic development.

Plagiarism in scientific writing is a serious violation that not only harms the original creator but also undermines academic integrity, the development of scientific knowledge, and the credibility of educational institutions. This research aims to analyze the regulation of plagiarism acts based on the laws and regulations in Indonesia, as well as to build a firmer criminal law construction against acts of plagiarism within academic settings. This study employs a normative juridical method with a doctrinal approach, examining relevant laws and legal theories. The findings indicate that although plagiarism has been regulated in several legal instruments such as the Indonesian Penal Code (KUHP), Law Number 28 of 2014 on Copyright, Law Number 20 of 2003 on the National Education System, and the Regulation of the Minister of National Education Number 17 of 2010, the existing regulations tend to be administrative in nature and have not provided a sufficient deterrent effect. Therefore, a more comprehensive and implementable criminal law construction is needed to ensure the protection of scientific works and legal certainty in the enforcement of criminal sanctions against perpetrators of plagiarism. In addition, preventive efforts through academic ethics education, the implementation of plagiarism detection systems, and the strengthening of internal policies within universities are also important steps that must be optimized.

This study aims to analyze the responsibilities of the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) and the state in implementing restitution for victims of sexual violence, particularly when the perpetrators are unable to pay or are sentenced to death. The background of this research lies in the weak implementation of restitution, which should be a fundamental right of victims, as illustrated by the case of Herry Wirawan based on the Bandung High Court Decision Number 86/Pid.Sus/2022/PT Bdg. The research addresses two main problems: (1) how the state and LPSK ensure the victims’ rights to restitution under such circumstances, and (2) what obstacles hinder the implementation of restitution based on the decision. The study employs a normative juridical method with a statutory and case study approach. The findings show that the implementation of restitution still faces serious obstacles, such as the absence of technical mechanisms, the lack of designated executing institutions, and the lack of coordination among law enforcement agencies. LPSK plays a role in proposing and calculating restitution amounts but lacks execution authority. Moreover, the state has not yet fulfilled its role as the ultimate guarantor for victims when the perpetrator is unable to comply. In conclusion, Indonesia’s legal system needs to strengthen technical regulations, ensure inter-agency coordination, and affirm the state's role as a guarantor of restitution to achieve meaningful restorative justice for victims of sexual violence

This research explores the symbolic consumption patterns of Generation Z in engaging with local products during the digital hyperreality era, emphasizing the roles of ethical consumption, hyperreality values, and digital identity in shaping purchase intentions. Using a quantitative design through PLS-SEM complemented by qualitative evidence, the study shows that both ethical consumption and hyperreality significantly shape digital identity (β = 0.42; β = 0.53, p < 0.001). Digital identity strongly drives purchase intention (β = 0.65, p < 0.001), while ethical consumption does not directly affect it. Mediation analysis demonstrates that digital identity fully mediates the relationship between ethical consumption and purchase intention, and partially mediates the impact of hyperreality. Qualitative findings highlight that Gen Z’s buying decisions are influenced by symbols and imagery showcased on social media, where ethical aspects only become relevant when they align with digital aesthetics. These results strengthen the postmodernist perspective that consumption in the digital era is primarily about signs, images, and symbols that go beyond mere utility. The study suggests that MSMEs should strategically embed symbolic narratives, ethical dimensions, and visual aesthetics into digital marketing to appeal to Gen Z while promoting sustainability.

PT. Lotus Indah Textile Industries, a manufacturing company in the open-end yarn spinning sector, faces significant issues related to defective products in its production process. This study aims to identify the level of human error among open-end machine operators and analyze the root causes of these errors. The methods employed include the Human Error Assessment and Reduction Technique (HEART) to calculate the Human Error Probability (HEP), as well as Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with the 5 Whys approach to identify the root problems. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires during the period of May to June 2025. The results indicate that the activity of "pushing the full yarn so that it detaches from the holder and moves to the conveyor with the right hand" had the highest HEP value of 0.281996. The main root causes of human error include a lack of focus and accuracy among operators, rushing while working, limited experience, and insufficient training and periodic evaluations of employee effectiveness by the company. The impact of these errors results in defective products such as dirty yarn and rolls that do not meet standards. As an improvement recommendation, the company is advised to conduct periodic evaluations of operator effectiveness after training to enhance productivity and provide feedback, as well as to establish clear procedures for the doffing process of yarn on open-end machines to reduce errors. This study is expected to assist the company in improving operator performance, reducing human error rates, and minimizing defective products.

Clean water distribution in the Community-Based Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation Program (PAMSIMAS) in Kuwasen Lama Village, Gunungpati District, Semarang City, faces the challenge of unequal supply between highland and lowland areas. The main factors that affect these conditions include differences in topography, suboptimal piping network design, and unbalanced water pressure, especially during peak hours. This research proposes a solution based on Internet of Things (IoT) technology using the ESP32 module as a control center, which is integrated with the Blynk application for real-time monitoring and control of the system. The system is equipped with a water flow sensor, water level sensor, motorized valve, and booster pump to increase water pressure in high elevation areas. Two design schemes were tested, namely flow regulation using a motorized valve, and a combination of a motorized valve with a booster pump. The results of the simulation and implementation showed an increase in water pressure stability, equitable distribution, and a decrease in the frequency of supply disruptions. The system also allows for live monitoring of network conditions, facilitates technical decision-making, and improves operational efficiency. With an adaptive and community participation-based approach, this solution has the potential to become a model for PAMSIMAS clean water distribution management that is efficient, sustainable, and responsive to geographical challenges, while strengthening the resilience of clean water services in rural areas.

Typhoid fever is a significant health issue caused by the Salmonella Typhi bacteria, leading to symptoms such as fever, abdominal pain, diarrhea, muscle pain, and serious complications if not treated promptly. A common challenge faced by society is limited access to medical professionals, especially in remote areas, and delays in recognizing symptoms. To address this problem, this study designs and implements a web-based expert system using the Certainty Factor (CF) method, which helps diagnose typhoid fever quickly and accurately. The Certainty Factor method is used to calculate the certainty level of the symptoms experienced by the patient, providing a diagnosis result in the form of early-stage typhoid, mild typhoid, or severe typhoid. The system was developed using PHP programming language and MySQL database, and tested at RSUD Djoelham Binjai City. The research data was obtained from patients at RSUD Djoelham Binjai with a case study on patient number 22. The processing of symptoms through Certainty Factor calculation showed that the patient is most likely to have severe typhoid with a certainty value of 0.9443 or 94.43%. This result proves that the Certainty Factor method can be used to assist in providing an accurate early diagnosis of typhoid fever with a high degree of accuracy.
