This study aims to identify and understand the root causes of low student learning outcomes in writing descriptive texts in grade IV of elementary school. Based on the results of field observations, it was found that the majority of students scored below the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) in both cognitive and psychomotor aspects. In addition, student participation in learning activities is also relatively low, which is reflected in minimal interaction, lack of discipline, and lack of self-expression. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, using observations in the form of tests and documentation as data collection techniques. The results of the study indicate that lack of understanding of the structure and characteristics of descriptive texts, interaction in learning, challenges in using learning media, and low student motivation are dominant factors in decreasing the quality of learning outcomes. Other factors are low interest in reading and limited student vocabulary. This study recommends that learning be carried out with a more communicative, applicable, and meaningful approach according to the characteristics of students in elementary schools.

This research aims to: 1) to know the condition of students in memorizing the Qur'an using translated and non translated Al-Qur'an at PPTQ Al-Asy'ariyyah Kalibeber Wonosobo; 2) to know the effectiveness of the method of memorizing translated and non translated Al-Qur'an at PPTQ Al-Asy'ariyyah Kalibeber Wonosobo; 3) to know the factors that influence the effectiveness of the method of memorizing Al-Qur'an using translated and non translated Al-Qur'an at PPTQ Al-Asy'ariyyah Kalibeber Wonosobo. This thesis uses a comparative descriptive qualitative research approach.  Where researchers understand phenomena or events through an in-depth description of the data collected in the form of words not numbers. And comparing in depth (qualitative) about a phenomenon, with the aim of identifying similarities and differences, as well as understanding the context and meaning behind it. The data collection technique uses observation, interviews, and documentation.  The data analysis techniques used in comparative descriptive qualitative analysis are data selection, data classification, data interpretation and the final step of comparison, where researchers compare the speed level of memorizing the Qur'an with the use of different Qur'ans but using the same method. The results showed that: 1) the condition of students who memorize using the translated Al-Qur'an tends to have a better understanding of the meaning of the verse, but the memorization process is slower because it takes time to understand the meaning of the verse. Students who memorize using the non-translated Al-Qur'an are faster in memorizing because they only focus on the lafadz and the rhythm of the reading. 2) the effectiveness of memorization methods using translated and non-translated Al-Qur'an at PPTQ Al-Asy'ariyyah. In terms of speed, memorizing using the non-translated Al-Qur'an is superior because students only focus on repeating the lafadz. The durability of memorization in both methods is strongly influenced by the consistency of murojaah. Understanding the meaning is better owned by students who memorize using the translated Al-Qur'an. 3) factors that influence the effectiveness of memorization, namely motivation, intelligence, psychological conditions, support from parents and ustadzah, learning environment, as well as time management and discipline are very influential on the success and effectiveness of students' memorization.

Student discipline remains a significant issue in education, including at SMA Al-Hidayah, where various violations such as tardiness, non-compliance with school rules, and lack of academic responsibility are still commonly found. This study aims to describe the forms of disciplinary violations committed by students, the strategies employed by school counselors, and the role of guidance and counseling (BK) teachers in improving student discipline. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that common violations include arriving late, not wearing the proper uniform, and failing to complete assignments. This research is motivated by the low discipline of a number of students in performing congregational prayers, which is indicated by lateness, disorderliness, and efforts to avoid the obligation. The purpose of this study was to determine the urgency, implementation strategies, and supporting and inhibiting factors for the habit of congregational prayers in forming the character of student discipline at MTsN 9 Blitar. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation, while data analysis was through reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions, with data validity obtained through triangulation, observer persistence, and peer discussion. The results of the study showed that the habit of congregational prayers has a high urgency in forming the character of student discipline, because it fosters an orderly, punctual, and consistent attitude towards obligations. The strategies used include habituation, role models, supervision, and punishment. Supporting factors consist of adequate facilities, educator commitment, and clear regulations, while inhibiting factors include lack of parental support, low student awareness, and the location of the mosque outside the madrasah environment.  This habituation has positive implications in instilling the value of discipline through a religious approach in the educational environment.

Discipline in education is necessary for students to understand moral and social boundaries. The practice of disciplining (corporal punishment) against students is still debatable. Some people consider it a form of violence against children that contradicts the principles of child protection in Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection. A dilemma arises regarding the limits of the teacher's authority in disciplining students and whether these actions can be categorized as criminal acts or are still included in the realm of education. Article 14 of Law No. 14/2005 on Teachers and Lecturers states that teachers have the right to impose sanctions on students who violate norms, rules, and academic ethics. This research is normative research. The results of this research are: (1) The provision of corporal punishment by teachers against students who violate religious norms, norms of decency, norms of politeness, written and unwritten rules set by teachers in the learning process cannot be categorized as acts against criminal law if the corporal punishment carried out by the teacher does not exceed the limits of reasonableness or punishment that is educational in nature in accordance with the teacher's code of ethics. (2) The application of mediation as a form of protection for teachers regulated in Article 4 paragraph 2 of Permendikbud Number 10 of 2017, where mediation is a form of implementation of restorative justice values creating a space for peaceful problem solving that considers the interests of students, teachers and students. The application of mediation as a form of protection for teachers regulated in Article 4 paragraph 2 of Permendikbud Number 10 of 2017, where mediation is a form of implementation of restorative justice values creating a space for peaceful problem solving that considers the interests of students, teachers, and the school community.
