This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using short stories to enhance the writing creativity of fourth-grade elementary students through a literature review approach. It employs a qualitative descriptive method with a non-experimental design. Data were gathered from various written sources such as scientific journals, books, and relevant proceedings, focusing on the role of short stories as a medium for writing instruction. The findings indicate that short stories can stimulate students' imagination, expressive abilities, and narrative understanding through structured plots rich in emotional meaning. Short stories also support students in composing more organized, creative, and expressive narrative texts, in line with the concrete thinking stage of Piaget’s theory. This approach aligns with constructivist principles, as it encourages students to connect personal experiences with story content. In the learning process, short stories are considered more engaging than traditional methods because they create a more interactive and meaningful learning environment. Therefore, the use of short stories has the potential to be an effective instructional strategy in fostering writing creativity and building a strong foundation in literacy from an early age.

This research analyses the implementation of Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) at Algerian universities and its potential for encouraging undergraduate learners to academically acquire learning, enhancing self-regulated learning strategies, and enhancing interdisciplinarity collaboration. This research adopted the mixed-method approach and used a quantitative tool (the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ)) and obtained qualitative data through reflective journals, interviews, and classroom observation. Outcomes show that CBL greatly affects enhancing students' motivation and supporting self-directed actions such as goal-setting, time management, and metacognitive processing. Interdisciplinary cooperation was also determined to be supportive for student engagement and problem-solving capacity. Students and instructors predominantly reported positive opinions regarding CBL, highlighting the relevancy, authenticity, and cooperation aspects of CBL. These findings validate the four study hypotheses and endorse the pedagogical shift towards active, student-centered learning in Algerian universities. The research concludes with strategic suggestions to institutionalize CBL, reassess assessment practices, and encourage professional development in support of the faculty utilizing this new pedagogy.

Modern education often emphasizes cognitive and technological aspects, while spiritual aspects are often neglected. In fact, in Islamic educational philosophy, the integration of spiritual values is an important part in forming the character of students who are moral and competitive. This study aims to (1) analyze the concept of Islamic educational philosophy from the perspective of integrating spiritual values, (2) identify spiritual values that can be integrated into the modern education system, and (3) explore effective strategies in their implementation. The method used is a literature review with a descriptive-analytical approach to relevant sources. The results of the study indicate that Islamic educational philosophy emphasizes a balance between intellectual and spiritual aspects to form individuals who have high moral awareness. Spiritual values such as monotheism, morals, and worship can be adapted into a modern curriculum through contextual and experience-based learning methods. The implementation of this integration strategy includes a holistic approach in the curriculum, teacher training, and the creation of a learning environment that supports the spiritual growth of students. Thus, the integration of spiritual values in modern education contributes to the formation of a more complete and balanced character.

Bibliometric analysis is a method for examining metadata derived from articles or journals, including information such as citations, authors, publication years, and countries (Andres, 2009). This analysis consists of three main stages: data collection, analysis, and communication. In the initial stage, data were collected using the Publish or Perish (PoP) application, drawing from the Scopus database with the keyword “technopreneurship” for the period 2014–2024. This study aims to explore the research landscape in the field of technopreneurship and technology-based entrepreneurship published in Scopus. For the query process, the search string TITLE-ABS-KEY ("technology entrepreneurship") was used to identify documents containing significant elements such as printed books, e-learning, and database systems that indicate co-occurrence within technology entrepreneurship literature.

This study aims to determine the effect of training, compensation, and work facilities on employee performance at the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Langsa City. The approach used in this research is quantitative, with a population of 156 employees. The sample determination in this study is a random sampling technique, and the calculation uses the Slovin formula with an error rate of 5% (0.05), so that the number of respondents in this study is 112 people. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression, t test for partial analysis, F test for simultaneous analysis, and the coefficient of determination test (Adjusted R²). So from the results of multiple linear regression, the equation Y = 10.491 + 0.247X₁ + 0.275X₂ + 0.255X₃ is obtained. Thus, based on the t-test results, it shows that training has a significant value (t sig.) of 0.000 < 0.05, compensation of 0.001 < 0.05, and work facilities of 0.012 < 0.05. This result indicates that training, compensation, and work facilities significantly affect employee performance at BPBD Langsa City. Furthermore, the F test results show a significant value (F sig.) of 0.000 < 0.05, which explains that training, compensation, and work facilities simultaneously significantly influence employee performance. The coefficient of determination test (Adjusted R²) produces a value of 0.336, which indicates that the variables of training, compensation, and work facilities affect employee performance by 33.6%. The remaining 66.4% is influenced by other variables not included in this study, such as occupational safety and health (OHS), work stress, work experience, competence, workload, job satisfaction, work culture, work discipline and external organisational factors.

This study examines the tax policies during the time of Abu Yusuf, a prominent Islamic scholar and economist who significantly contributed to the Islamic financial system through his work Kitab al-Khara. The research aims to analyze Abu Yusuf's taxation concepts, their implementation during the Abbasid Caliphate, and their relevance to modern taxation systems, particularly in Indonesia. This study employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach. The findings indicate that Abu Yusuf favored a proportional tax system (muqasamah) over a fixed tax system (misahah), as it is fairer and more adaptable to economic fluctuations. He also emphasized the importance of tax officials' integrity, transparency in tax administration, and strict supervision of tax collectors to prevent corruption. This study highlights that Abu Yusuf’s taxation principles remain relevant in modern taxation systems, particularly in terms of fairness, efficiency, and fiscal transparency.

Production facility layout design is an important part that must be considered in an industry. Banjarsengon coffee house is one of the coffee suppliers in Jember with product types such as robusta and arabica coffee from the Argopuro mountains. The purpose of the research is to reduce material handling costs generated by the industry in order to produce the most optimal costs, and design a proposed layout as an alternative to help reduce material handling costs. This industry processes its products from upstream to downstream so that it has 2 production sites, namely the production house and Cafe Rumah Kopi Banjarsengon. The research was conducted with an interview approach to key informants and continued by calculating material handling costs and the Craft method. The results showed that the initial layout of Banjarsengon Coffee House resulted in material handling costs of Rp. 534,437 and after iteration through the Craft Method, an alternative layout was obtained that resulted in more efficient material handling costs of Rp. 464,302. This shows that there is a material handling cost savings of 13.1% or Rp. 70,135.

Digital transformation in Indonesia has increased dependence on digital database systems, so that personal data protection has become a crucial issue. This research aims to analyze the urgency of protecting personal data in digital database systems in Indonesia from regulatory, ethical and technical strategy aspects. The method used is literature study and document analysis of regulations, ethical practices and data protection technology. The research results show that even though Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection (UU PDP) has been passed, its implementation still faces challenges in the form of low digital literacy, weak law enforcement, and not yet optimal monitoring infrastructure. Additionally, implementing ethical principles and technical strategies, such as encryption, access control, and privacy by design, is critical to strengthening data security. This research concludes that effective personal data protection can only be realized through synergy between strong regulations, the application of digital ethics, and adequate technical strategies, in order to safeguard individual privacy rights in the digital era.
