The rapid changes in Indonesia's socio-political landscape have highlighted the urgency of reconstructing the governance of civil society organizations, especially in balancing the tension between the freedom of association and public order. This tension has emerged as a contemporary trend filled with controversy and civil unrest. This study aims to formulate a model of governance for civil society organizations based on Islamic values, using three theoretical frameworks: Najm al-Din al-Tufi's Maṣlaḥah Theory, Robert Putnam's Civil Society Theory, and Mark Bevir's Good Governance Theory. The methodology used is a qualitative-descriptive approach, which includes data collection through policy documentation, digital media analysis, and in-depth interviews with two key informants from religious-based civil society organizations—Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and Persatuan Islam (PERSIS). Primary sources include official government documents such as Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perpu) No. 2 of 2017 and Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 57 of 2017, alongside empirical narratives from community leaders. The research findings suggest that the social legitimacy of civil society organizations is more influenced by the practical application of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah (obligatory duties) and their ability to address the real needs of society than by mere adherence to administrative regulations. These findings highlight the gap between legality and legitimacy and emphasize that integrating the values of maṣlaḥah (benefit), social capital, and transparency is essential to strengthening civil society in a democratic state. By embedding Islamic values into the governance models, civil society organizations can better serve the community while maintaining democratic principles, creating a more inclusive and beneficial governance framework that aligns with both public needs and Islamic teachings.

The rapid pace of urbanization has intensified competition among businesses, prompting the adoption of innovative strategies to enhance sales performance and customer engagement. PT Inspirasi Bisnis Nusantara, under the HAUS! brand, introduced “Huling,” a hyperlocal distribution service utilizing electric bikes (e-bikes) equipped with integrated storage boxes to improve delivery efficiency and environmental sustainability. This study aims to evaluate customer acceptance of the Huling service by applying the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The model incorporates five core variables: Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), Perceived Usefulness (PU), Attitude Towards Usage (ATU), Behavioral Intention (BI), and Actual Usage (AU). A quantitative research approach was employed, collecting data from 258 respondents through structured questionnaires. The data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method to assess the relationships among the TAM variables. The findings reveal that PEOU has a significant positive effect on both PU and ATU, indicating that ease of use not only improves perceptions of usefulness but also fosters favorable attitudes toward adoption. PU significantly influences ATU and BI, suggesting that perceived benefits drive both positive attitudes and intentions to use the service. Furthermore, BI has a direct and significant effect on AU, confirming that stronger behavioral intentions translate into actual utilization. The analysis highlights the strongest impact along the pathway PEOU → ATU → BI → AU, underscoring the critical role of user-friendly design and positive attitudes in driving customer adoption. This research contributes to the literature by demonstrating the applicability of TAM in the hyperlocal distribution sector, offering practical implications for service providers seeking to enhance user acceptance through improved usability and perceived value. The findings suggest that optimizing ease of use and communicating tangible benefits can significantly increase customer engagement and sustained usage of innovative delivery services.

An increase in the number of vehicles should also be accompanied by improvements in technology that can increase engine efficiency and at the same time reduce air pollution. This research aims to determine the effect of using variations in the number of holes in the injector and the octane number of the fuel on exhaust emissions in motorcycle engines. The research method uses experiments with descriptive analysis. The independent variable is the number of holes in the injector, 4, 6, and 8 and the octane number of 90, and 92. In the exhaust emissions testing process using engine speeds of 1000 rpm, 2000 rpm and 3000 rpm. The bound variable is the emission of carbon monoxide (CO) gas and hydrocarbon gas (HC). Data from CO and HC gas emission testing results at 1000 rpm are all still within the permitted limits. Furthermore, statistical analysis shows that there is an influence of the number of holes in the injector and the octane value of the fuel on CO and HC exhaust emissions and there is no interaction between the octane value variables and the number of injector holes on the CO and HC exhaust gas values. The best results are CO gas emissions = 0.55% and HC = 66 ppm when using a 6 holes injector (standard) and using fuel with an octane value of 92.

This study investigates the geopolitical shifts that have occurred between Iran and the United States over Iran’s nuclear program and how they have impacted the stability of the Middle East region. The background of this study is the long-standing tensions caused by the United States’ suspicions about Iran’s nuclear ambitions. These suspicions triggered the JCPOA agreement in 2015 and worsened after the United States withdrew from the JCPOA in 2018. This study aims to gain an understanding of the ways in which strategic geography, threat perceptions, and foreign policy contribute to instability in the region. This study was conducted qualitatively using a descriptive-analytical approach and secondary data obtained from journals, policy reports, and international institutions. The results show that Iran uses its geographic position and support for non-state actors as strategic tools. While the United States pressures Iran through sanctions and military alliances, it also uses its geographic position. These tensions endanger security and destabilize the region. These results are important because they demonstrate the impact of regional nuclear conflicts around the world and suggest that inclusive multilateral diplomacy is needed to resolve conflicts.
