This study aims to analyze the price elasticity of demand and supply of local lemon oranges in Indonesia, a key horticultural commodity. The data used are historical records of prices and demand in Sleman Regency (2003–2006), as well as consumption and supply in Medan City (2010–2011). The research adopts a quantitative approach using price elasticity analysis with the midpoint formula. The results show that demand is inelastic (Ed < 1), meaning that price changes do not significantly affect lemon demand. On the other hand, supply is elastic (Es > 1), indicating a strong producer response to price changes. These findings are essential for price-setting strategies, production increase planning, and managerial decision-making in maintaining the stability of local lemon supply and prices in the domestic market.

The participation of Muslim families in Indonesia’s capital market remains relatively low despite increasing access to financial instruments. This low level of stock ownership highlights the need to analyze the influencing factors. This study aims to examine the effect of socio-economic factors and religiosity on stock ownership decisions among Muslim families in Indonesia. The data used are panel data from the Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS) for the years 2007 and 2014, consisting of 32,074 observations from 16,037 household heads. The independent variables include gender, age, household size, income, education level, marital status, social expenditures, area of residence, employment status, and religiosity. The analysis was conducted using probit regression, supported by likelihood ratio tests, goodness-of-fit measures, and marginal effects analysis. The results show that most socio-economic and religiosity variables significantly influence stock ownership decisions. These findings indicate that the investment behavior of Muslim families is shaped by a combination of structural characteristics and religious values. The implications of this study may serve as a foundation for developing contextual and inclusive financial literacy policies.

Tackling pedophilia crimes often faces serious obstacles, especially when the perpetrator has a high social status or strong influence in society. This condition often hampers the law enforcement process, because it is difficult to hold the perpetrator criminally accountable fairly. This research is an empirical legal research by conducting interviews and observing examination files and related documents. The results of this study indicate that: (1) efforts to combat pedophilia crimes that occurred in Oesena Village have not been optimal due to weak coordination between parties. The police are overwhelmed in handling similar cases, while legal aid institutions can only provide assistance without full legal authority, even though they try through social media. As a result, the victims have not received legal justice. (2) the accountability of perpetrators of pedophilia crimes seen from the aspect of justice has not been fulfilled, both legally and socially. Legally, the perpetrators have not received appropriate punishment. This shows that the perpetrators have not been truly held accountable for their actions fairly.

Reciprocal tariff changes imposed by the United States on its trading partner countries including Indonesia, create changes in export and import tariffs in Indonesia which result in a significant impact on the Indonesian economy, which has an impact on export and import sectors such as oil and gas, then non-oil and gas which includes processing industries, agriculture, forestry, fisheries, mining as well as consumer goods, raw / auxiliary materials, and capital goods. This research aims to analyze the impact of exports and imports in the country of Indonesia due to the reciprocal tax rate policy implemented by the United States. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of content analysis, which involves collecting data from news articles, research reports, and relevant academic publications. The results showed that the imposition of reciprocal tariffs imposed by the United States against Indonesia caused an increase in imports from 2017 to 2020 by 1.38% in the consumer goods sector. On the other hand, the export side decreased in the oil and gas sector from 2017 to 2020 by 2.37% which resulted in disruption of economic stability in the global supply chain that created inflation, and increased imports in Indonesia resulted in competing local product prices with imported products so that many Indonesian manufacturing companies reduced production and terminated employment. From this research, it is expected that Indonesia will be able to maximize the opportunities that exist from the changes and challenges of global trade.

This study aims to critically analyze the impact of the SIM card data leak by an anonymous actor named Bjorka on the level of public trust in digital security in Indonesia which first appeared in mid-2022, precisely in August 2022. In addition, it evaluates the extent to which the national legal system is able to provide protection for digital service users and examines the social, moral, and ethical responses of society in addressing the incident. This case demonstrates that data breaches are not merely technical issues but also shake the legitimacy of the state in safeguarding citizens’ privacy rights, while revealing gaps in regulatory systems and data governance. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through literature reviews of scholarly articles, academic journals, policy reports, and relevant opinion pieces. The findings indicate that Bjorka’s data breach incident triggered a crisis of public trust in government institutions and digital service providers. The public responded with fear, anger, and disappointment, mainly due to the lack of transparency and accountability from the responsible parties. Moreover, the implementation of Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection is considered ineffective, both in terms of law enforcement and the readiness of technical and institutional infrastructure.

The phenomenon of online ojek as part of the platform-based economy has grown rapidly, especially in Indonesia. This job is in high demand by youth as an alternative job that offers flexibility. However, behind the benefits offered, this profession also carries economic, social, and political risks. This article aims to examine the identity formation of youth working as online ojek drivers in the context of political-economic risks that arise in digital platforms, using Ulrich Beck's Risk Society Theory. In the risk society, uncertainty and dependence on systems controlled by digital platforms are the main factors that shape the social identity of the drivers. This research finds that the identity of online ojek youth is formed through interactions with digital platforms that prioritize efficiency and profitability, as well as with the risks they face every day in working under systemic uncertainty.

Background: Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) is a combination of physical, emotional, and behavioral symptoms that occur cyclically before menstruation and are commonly experienced by adolescent girls. Common symptoms include fatigue, abdominal pain, headaches, anxiety, and mood disturbances, which can affect sleep quality, concentration, and academic productivity. This article provides an in-depth examination of the definition, types, prevalence, causes, impacts, and management of PMS in adolescent girls. Based on epidemiological data, the prevalence of PMS is quite high, both globally and nationally, with incidence rates in Indonesia reaching 70–90% among women of reproductive age, and most cases beginning during adolescence. There are four main types of PMS: Type A (anxiety), Type H (hyperhidrosis), Type C (food cravings), and Type D (depression), each with specific characteristics and etiologies. Causes of PMS include hormonal imbalances of estrogen and progesterone, reduced serotonin levels, poor sleep quality, psychological stress, genetic factors, and unhealthy lifestyles. The impact of PMS on adolescents is complex, including decreased academic performance, social relationship disturbances, and reduced psychological well-being. Therefore, PMS management should be approached holistically through pharmacological (such as NSAIDs, antidepressants, and diuretics) and non-pharmacological (physical exercise, relaxation, lifestyle changes, and nutritional education) interventions. Environmental support and reproductive health education are crucial to help adolescents effectively manage PMS symptoms and improve their quality of life. This study is expected to serve as a foundation for promotive and preventive interventions in adolescent health care.

Student discipline remains a significant issue in education, including at SMA Al-Hidayah, where various violations such as tardiness, non-compliance with school rules, and lack of academic responsibility are still commonly found. This study aims to describe the forms of disciplinary violations committed by students, the strategies employed by school counselors, and the role of guidance and counseling (BK) teachers in improving student discipline. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that common violations include arriving late, not wearing the proper uniform, and failing to complete assignments. The strategies applied by BK teachers include preventive approaches, curative measures, positive reinforcement, and collaboration with subject teachers and parents. The role of the BK teacher is central, acting as a facilitator, mentor, and mediator in the development of student discipline. These findings support existing theories that emphasize humanistic, consistent, and collaborative approaches as effective methods for fostering internal awareness of discipline among students. With well-planned strategies and consistent implementation, school counselors can become key agents in creating a culture of discipline within the school environment.

The purpose of this study is to analyze how Indonesian public accountants comply with their code of ethics. The researcher uses a qualitative approach to collect data for this study, by referring to various scientific publications, papers, journals, and other sources. However, the author's data collection method is a literature study methodology. The subjects of this study are public accountants of the Indonesian Public Accounting Office. According to the research findings, in order to maintain public trust, the code of ethics of the public accountant profession must be adhered to. In addition, by implementing a code of ethics, an accountant is seen as more professional, reliable and trustworthy. An accountant must be independent because a lack of independence can violate the basic principles of ethics regarding the objectivity of an auditor in working.

The introduction of toxic substances or energy into the environment degrades environmental quality, which in turn can have negative effects on living things like human health, biodiversity, and the global climate. This multi-faceted problem has far-reaching consequences for ecosystems and human life. For Indonesia, this has grown into a major problem throughout the last several decades. Water, air, soil, and noise pollution have all seen dramatic increases due to the expansion of cities, the industrial sector, and the proliferation of motor vehicles. All four forms of Indonesian environmental pollution—air, water, soil, and noise—are covered in this research, along with their origins, effects on human and environmental health, and potential solutions, both governmental and grassroots. A literature review of secondary sources, such as government papers, scientific journals, and other official publications, is employed as the technique. This document is written with the intention of drawing attention to the significance of environmental protection and offering broad preventative actions. According to the results, industrial operations, automobiles, household garbage, and a general lack of environmental consciousness are the main causes of pollution. Hence, in order to lessen the impact of pollution and enhance environmental quality, technological solutions, regulatory laws, and communities that are both interdisciplinary and collaborative are crucial tools.
