Abstrak:
Students experience difficulties in learning to write procedure texts. This is caused by students' interest in learning procedural text material which is still relatively low, students' lack of understanding in writing procedural texts, students are not enthusiastic about learning to write procedural texts. The aim of this research is to analyze (1) the ability to write procedural texts of class VII SMP students. Negeri 29 Medan before using the project based learning learning model assisted by Prezi media; (2) the ability to write procedural texts for class VII students at SMP Negeri 29 Medan after using the project based learning model assisted by Prezi media. (3) the influence of the project based learning model assisted by Prezi media on the ability to write procedural texts for class VII students at SMP Negeri 29 Medan. This research uses an experimental one group pre-test post-test design method. The results of the research show that 1) the ability to write procedural texts for class VII students at SMP Negeri 29 Medaln before implementing the project based learning learning model assisted by Prezi media was still classified as adequate in terms of category, with an average value of 60.16 while the majority of students had not yet reached the minimum completeness criteria. (KKM) which has already been determined by the school with a score of 76. 2) The ability to write procedural texts for class VII students at SMP Negeri 29 Medaln after implementing the Prezi media-assisted project based learning model is in the reverse category with a score of 84.35 based on the test t, with a significant level value of ? = 0.05 and n = 31, the t-table value is 2.04. Therefore, it can be concluded that t-count > t-table, namely 7.15 > 2.04. This proves that there is a significant influence from the use of the project based learning model assisted by Prezi media on class VII students at SMP Negeri 29 Medan.

Abstrak:
Language errors are inappropriate or incorrect use of grammar rules, vocabulary, spelling, or sentence structure in a language. Language errors can occur due to various factors, such as a lack of understanding of grammatical rules, influence from other languages, or lack of awareness of correct and appropriate usage in certain communication situations. This research aims to analyze errors in using Indonesian properly in making presentations by students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program at Medan State University. The method used for research and collecting data is through direct observation through presentations during lectures via Via-zoom media by recording the progress of the presentation. The implication of this research is the importance of increasing understanding and mastery of good and standard Indonesian for students. The research target is students of the Class C Indonesian language study program class of 2022 at Medan State University in order to improve the quality of presentations for the future.

Abstrak:
Pencucian pakaian merupakan salah satu proses yang penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Meskipun mesin cuci otomatis telah memberikan kemudahan dalam melakukan proses pencucian, penggunaan teknologi terbaru seperti kontrol logika fuzzy dapat meningkatkan kinerja mesin cuci pintar untuk mencapai hasil pencucian yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan kontrol logika fuzzy dengan metode Mamdani pada mesin cuci pintar guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas pencucian. Metode penelitian ini terdiri dari beberapa tahap, pertama, melakukan analisis terhadap variabel-variabel yang mempengaruhi proses pencucian, seperti beban pakaian, ketebalan pakaian, tingkat kekotoran, dan suhu air. Selanjutnya merancang sistem kontrol logika fuzzy Mamdani dengan menentukan fungsi keanggotaan untuk setiap variabel serta membuat aturan-aturan fuzzy untuk menghubungkan variabel input dan output dan yang terakhir melakukan evaluasi hasil pencucian terhadap variabel input yang telah ditentukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kontrol logika fuzzy Mamdani pada mesin cuci pintar dapat meningkatkan kualitas pencucian yang signifikan dan adaptif dalam menentukan parameter-parameter pencucian dengan menghasilkan kualitas pencucian yang lebih bersih. Dengan demikian integrasi kontrol logika fuzzy Mamdani pada mesin cuci cerdas memiliki potensi meningkatkan kinerja pencucian secara keseluruhan. Kesimpulannya, penggunaan kontrol logika fuzzy Mamdani pada mesin cuci pintar merupakan langkah yang efektif untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pencucian pakaian. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan teknologi mesin cuci pintar yang lebih adaptif dan ramah lingkungan, serta memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pengembangan teknologi dalam bidang kontrol logika fuzzy untuk aplikasi rumah tangga pintar lainnya.

Abstrak:
The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of body mass index to the level of physical fitness of junior high school students in Medan City in 2023. This study used descriptive analytic method. The sample amounted to 23 people, obtained by purposive sample. To determine the correlation of body mass index to the level of physical fitness is sought using the product moment formula. This research uses body mass index test instruments and physical fitness tests carried out to find out data on research variables, namely body mass index data and student physical fitness tests. From the results of statistical analysis, the correlation coefficient between body mass index and physical fitness is rcount = 0.55. To find out how much the contribution of body mass index to the level of physical fitness is calculated with R = (0.55)2 x 100% = 30.25%. The contribution is 30.25%. Thus the hypothesis that states there is a contribution of body mass index to the level of physical fitness of junior high school students in Medan City in 2023 can be accepted in this study. This research opens insights into knowledge for teachers, especially physical education teachers so that this information can be applied in schools.

This research aims to determine the influence of land area, capital and labor on the income of pineapple farmers in Central Panai District, Labuhan Batu Regency. Sample used was 95 respondents. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is a multiple linear regression model and hypothesis testing using the t test, F test and coefficient of determination. Previously the data had been tested using validity tests, reliability tests and classical assumption tests. Data processing uses the SPSS 16.0 for Windows program. The results show that land area has a significant effect on the income of pineapple farmers in Panai Tengah District, Labuhanbatu Regency, Capital has a significant effect on the income of pineapple farmers in Panai Tengah District, Labuhanbatu Regency, Labor has a significant effect on the income of pineapple farmers in Panai Tengah District, Labuhanbatu Regency, Luas Land, Capital and Labor have a significant influence on the income of pineapple farmers in Panai Tengah District, Labuhanbatu Regency.

The general public's ignorance of flower bouquets makes it challenging for business players to identify their target market, as teens continue to use food bouquets as presents for specific individuals. In order for the participants in this training to use the snack bouquet business as a reference business idea in the future, it seeks to provide information about the making process and the materials required to establish one. Both theoretical and practical methods are employed in this training.

Abstrak:
Fatty liver is a medical condition in which fat builds up in liver cells, which can develop into steatohepatitis, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer if not treated properly. Fatty liver in the elderly causes an increased risk of serious complications due to the high prevalence of metabolic risk factors such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia and obesity which are more common in the elderly. The importance of education and understanding risk factors so that the elderly community can adopt a healthy lifestyle is the main focus of this community service activity. Through the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) method, initial assessment, education, implementation of healthy eating and exercise patterns, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the intervention are carried out. The results showed that the majority of elderly people had cholesterol levels and liver function within normal limits, although 9.7% had hypercholesterolemia and 43% had SGOT levels that were not optimal. Continuous education and support are key in preventing and managing fatty liver and dyslipidemia in the elderly, thereby improving their quality of life.

In the current era of technological development, the application of conventional biotechnology can be seen in making tempeh, the manufacturing process of which uses fermented soybeans as raw materials with the help of microorganisms in the form of yeast. This tempe making training activity was held on April 20 2024 at Johar Market with a total of 29 participants. The method used in this training is to use the method of explaining the material and practicing directly. Based on the results of the training activities, there was an increase in participants' knowledge and abilities, this increase could be seen when the results of the questionnaire were distributed before and after the training was carried out. All participants know that tempeh is one of the foods most liked by the majority of Indonesian people. The speaker provided knowledge and experience regarding tempeh processing, when the participants already understood about tempeh processing, after that they carried out direct practice, up to the washing stage and entered the manufacturing stage. In this training, participants understand that tempeh has a fairly high source of vegetable protein and this training provides benefits and increases interest in opening up tempeh business opportunities.

Gamified technology presents a promising avenue for educators to create dynamic and interactive language learning environments. This qualitative study explores students’ perceptions of gamified technology and paper-based methods for tourism vocabulary retention in a private university setting. Through interviews with six students, two overarching themes emerged: engagement and efficacy. Under the theme of engagement, sub-themes included competing students in learning and the level of interactivity among students. Meanwhile, within the theme of efficacy, sub-themes focused on vocabulary retention and student comprehension. The findings underscore the importance of considering students' preferences and perceptions in language learning strategies, particularly in integrating innovative technological tools to enhance engagement and efficacy. Educators are encouraged to leverage gamified technology while also adapting teaching approaches to suit students' needs effectively. Ongoing research and evaluation of gamified technology in language learning contexts can provide valuable insights into its effectiveness and areas for improvement.

In the world of Food & Beverages (F&B), ensuring the safety of the food products produced is very important. Knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) is very important for hotels and restaurants in an effort to ensure food safety. HACCP is a food safety management system based on a preventive approach, by identifying, evaluating and controlling hazards that are significant to food safety. The implementation of HACCP in hotels and restaurants helps prevent food contamination, provides food safety assurance for consumers, and increases customer trust and satisfaction. In addition, HACCP implementation also helps hotels and restaurants meet applicable food safety regulations and standards. Thus, HACCP knowledge for hotels and restaurants is very important to maintain the quality and safety of the food served, as well as maintaining the reputation and sustainability of the business.
