Corruption in the public sector remains a major obstacle to regional development, threatening the effectiveness of financial management and public services. Gaps in financial supervision and management that are not transparent are the cause of fraud in the use of the budget. The agency theory states that corruption is caused by a conflict of interest between the community as the principal and the government as an agent, with the external auditor as a supervisor to prevent irregularities. The focus of this research is to find out the relationship between corruption in local governments and capital expenditure, local own revenue, audit opinions, and audit findings. This study uses quantitative methods and uses secondary data. The sample consistSed of 250 local governments (districts/cities/provinces) in Indonesia during 2020-2022. The analyst method uses SPSS 27 with multiple linear regression method. The test results showed that capital expenditure had no effect on corruption, local own revenue and audit findings had a positive effect on corruption, and audit opinions had nothing to do with corruption in local governments.

Disiplin adalah kesadaran dan proses pembiasaan diri untuk mengikuti serta menjalankan aturan dan norma yang berlaku di masyarakat. Keberhasilan dalam membentuk disiplin dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya adalah strategi yang diterapkan oleh guru dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa serta pemahaman siswa tentang pentingnya disiplin. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan beberapa temuan, yaitu: (1) Strategi guru dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan terlihat dari semakin sedikitnya siswa yang terlambat datang ke sekolah, (2) Guru menerapkan berbagai strategi dalam mengelola pembelajaran di kelas, (3) Pembelajaran dibuat agar mudah dipahami oleh siswa, (4) Guru mampu menciptakan suasana kelas yang hidup dan kondusif, dan (5) Diadakan evaluasi mingguan untuk memastikan terciptanya disiplin siswa di sekolah.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the juridical review of the use of mobile phones while driving by motor vehicle drivers who endanger other road users in Kupang City. This research is an empirical juridical research in which this research is carried out in the Kupang City Resort Police Law Wilaya. This research uses interview guidelines for thirty-four sources. The results showed that law enforcement against motor vehicle drivers who use cellphones while driving. The inhibiting factors for the police in law enforcement against motor vehicle drivers who use cellphones while driving in Kupang City are internal and external factors. The efforts of the police in tackling cases of motorized vehicle drivers who use cellphones while driving in Kupang City are by strict enforcement, personal approach and conducting evaluations.

Community service by the D-III Nursing Study Program in Central Tapanuli, Medan Ministry of Health Polytechnic, was carried out in the form of material presentations and demonstrations to students of SMA Negeri 3 Sibolga about Basic Life Support as first aid. Basic Life Support (BHD) is a series of first aid that is carried out to help anyone who experiences respiratory or cardiac arrest. One solution for first aid is to educate the public about Basic Life Support so that the possibility of brain cell damage will be smaller and give the victim enough time to be taken to the hospital on time. The target of service activities is 100 students of SMA Negeri 3 Sibolga. The aim of this Community Service is to realize community service as one of the Tri Darma activities of Higher Education, increasing the knowledge and skills of students in providing basic life support as emergency first aid. The methods used are counseling, training and question and answer/discussion and evaluation. After the counseling and demonstration of Basic Life Support was carried out, the results showed that the majority of respondents had sufficient knowledge at 58%, 35% had good knowledge and 7% had less knowledge. Competency evaluation is carried out by giving participants the opportunity to demonstrate directly the implementation of BHD using a phantom. The results obtained were that 63% had capable category skills and 37% had less capable skills, meaning that students still received assistance.

Quality management in education is crucial to improving the quality of Islamic education, especially in private Islamic schools. This study identifies the implementation, challenges, and solutions for quality management in education at Al Azhar Islamic School in Bukittinggi. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and analysis of relevant documents. Data analysis is processed through reduction, presentation, and verification to draw conclusions, with data validation using triangulation. The results of the study show that there are several stages or phases in the implementation of quality management in Islamic education at Al Azhar Islamic School. The first phase is the preparation phase of quality management, which includes forming a quality management team, stating the vision and principles as guidelines, and conducting a strengths and weaknesses analysis. The second phase is the planning phase of quality management, which includes planning the implementation of quality management in education and forming a management implementation team. The third phase is the implementation phase of quality management, which includes teaching processes, learning evaluation, resource management, and program monitoring and evaluation.

The values of Pancasila in the project include faith, diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical thinking, and creativity, with the school principal playing an essential role in guiding and managing the learning process. This study focuses on the principal's key role in planning and implementing the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project at State Senior High School 1 Sawahlunto. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis. Data processing involved condensation, presentation, and drawing conclusions. To ensure accuracy and reliability of the information, source triangulation was conducted. The findings indicate that the planning phase includes forming a facilitator team, identifying school readiness, organizing dimensions, themes, and time allocation for the Pancasila student profile strengthening project, creating project modules, and designing reporting strategies. In the implementation phase, each class follows the learning activities based on the assigned themes and projects, with the principal collaborating with the community, local organizations, and industries to support learning. This activity positively impacts the development of students' character, aligned with Pancasila values.

Leprosy is a chronic infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium leprae that attacks several parts of the body, especially the upper respiratory tract, skin, and peripheral nerves. Indonesia is the third country with the most leprosy in the world. This study aims to determine the profile of leprosy patients at the Dermatology and Venereology Polyclinic Dr. M. Djamil Padang Hospital in 2018-2021. This research is descriptive retrospective with total sampling technique using secondary data in the form of medical records. The sample of this study were all leprosy patients in 2018-2021 who were fulfilled inclusion criteria, with a total of 39 patients. The results showed that the most age group was >14 years (100%), the most gender was male (74.36%), the most residence was Padang (33.33%), and almost all leprosy patients (92.31%) had no history of household contact with leprosy patients. Most of the leprosy patients were of the multibacillary type (74.36%) with positive smear results (46.15%), without leprosy reaction (61.54%), and the most disability level that occurred was grade 0 disability (48.72%). The conclusion of this study is that most cases of leprosy at the Dermatology and Venereology Polyclinic RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang in 2018-2021 aged >14 years, male, having address in Padang City, had no history household contact, multibacillary type, positive smear result, without reaction, and level 0 disability.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaturan izin pemanfaatan pertambangan dan dampak pasca tambang akibat izin pemanfaatan pertambangan tersebut di provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian hukum normatif, dengan dua sumber data yakni primer dan sekunder ,data didapatkan melalui teknik pengumpulan data studi pustaka, dan metode pendekatan perundang-undangan, dengan analisis penelitian kualitatif, serta menarik kesimpulan dengan metode induktif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa regulasi yang ada menimbulkan adanya penyederhanaan yang tidak sejalan dengan prinsip-prinsip pertambangan yang baik serta menimbulkan dampak negatif pasca aktivitas pertambangan pada aspek lingkungan dan juga aspek sosial.

This study aims to analyze the role of the State Administrative Court Procedure Law (PTUN) in protecting citizens' rights against decisions of state administrative officials that are considered detrimental. In the context of a state of law, PTUN functions as a control mechanism against actions of administrative officials that are not in accordance with the law. The research method used is a qualitative approach, with data collection through literature studies, and analysis of PTUN decision documents. The results of the study indicate that PTUN plays an important role in upholding the principles of a state of law and providing legal protection for citizens. However, there are still challenges in its implementation, such as the slow trial process, lack of public understanding of PTUN procedures, and limited access to legal aid. To overcome these challenges, an increase in the number of judges, broader legal education for the public, and better access to legal aid services are needed. In conclusion, PTUN procedural law plays a vital role in ensuring that decisions of state administrative officials can be tested and legally accounted for, thus providing effective protection for citizens.

The accuracy of language in news texts is critical because appropriate language makes it easier for readers to understand. The quality of correct and appropriate language is essential in conveying information that is clear, accurate, and easy for readers to understand. Language errors in news texts can interfere with understanding and affect readers' minds. Therefore, correcting language errors in news texts, especially for junior high school students, is essential as part of the learning process. This research aims to provide a deeper understanding of language errors in the news texts studied, using data collection methods, listening and note-taking techniques, and analysis using the agih method. The research used a qualitative descriptive design approach to analyze errors in language use in news texts in the April 2023 Edition of Derap Guru Magazine, which included errors in conjunctions, punctuation, spelling, standard words, capital letters, abbreviated words, and ineffective sentences. Students can improve their language skills by analyzing language usage errors in news texts as teaching materials while deepening their understanding of news texts and effective language use.
