Animal quarantine plays a crucial role in preventing the smuggling of wildlife, particularly protected bird species. Although this is regulated under Law Number 21 of 2019 concerning Animal, Fish, and Plant Quarantine, smuggling practices remain prevalent. This study employs a normative and empirical juridical approach to examine the role of the Agricultural Quarantine Agency Class 1A Bandar Lampung in combating bird smuggling, as well as the factors hindering the enforcement of criminal law. The findings indicate that the quarantine agency carries out three main roles: normative (based on regulations), factual (preventive and repressive actions), and ideal (emphasizing prevention). Obstacles faced include a shortage of field personnel, limited equipment and funding, and low public awareness of the law. It is recommended that the quarantine agency improve community welfare and collaborate with relevant institutions to optimize public outreach and law enforcement efforts.

Receivable disputes may be resolved through bankruptcy mechanisms that culminate in a bankruptcy ruling. However, legal issues may still arise post-verdict, such as in Commercial Court Decision Number 18/Pdt.Sus-Renvoi/2023/PN Niaga Mdn, where the receivable claim filed by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry was rejected due to late submission. In resolving the case, the judge considered two legal principles: erga omnes and promulgatie. This paper aims to examine the position of these principles in bankruptcy cases and analyze the judge’s legal reasoning regarding the late submission of receivables under Indonesian bankruptcy law. This study uses a normative juridical approach, with the research specification being analytical-descriptive in nature. The data are secondary in form and are collected through literature review. The method of data analysis employed is qualitative normative analysis. The findings of this study show that the erga omnes and promulgatie principles hold a significant position within Indonesian bankruptcy law. These principles are implicitly reflected in Article 15 paragraph (4) and Article 24 paragraph (1) of the Bankruptcy Law (UUKPKPU). These principles apply insofar as there are no specific provisions limiting their application. In this case, the judge's legal reasoning in deciding the renvoi procedure is deemed inaccurate because there is a specific provision that governs the late submission of receivable claims. Therefore, the application of the erga omnes and promulgatie principles should have been subject to such limitation.

The cultivation of holistic character in elementary school students is a fundamental component in shaping individuals who are morally, socially, and spiritually grounded. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of interactive educational approaches in fostering character development among elementary students at Pondok Pesantren At-Tausyiah, Blitar. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, involving observation, interviews, and active participation during the character-building program. The activities implemented included inspirational storytelling on heroism to foster nationalism and a “water-carrying game” designed to teach values of cooperation and responsibility. Observational data indicated a high level of enthusiasm and active participation from the students throughout the program. Reflections from the students and interviews with facilitators supported the finding that experience-based learning, educational games, and two-way communication significantly enhance both understanding and practice of character values. Beyond strengthening students' character, the program also fostered a joyful learning environment and strengthened the bond between student facilitators and the participants. The findings affirm that interactive education is an effective strategy for holistic character formation, particularly in Islamic boarding school settings.

This journal discusses guidance and counseling service models as well as BK support activities to improve the quality of education. This research aims to build an integrated Guidance and Counseling (BK) service model, which combines mediation, consultation and advocacy methods, supported by additional BK activities to improve the quality of education in schools. So far, BK services have largely focused on individual approaches without any integration of strategic functions that can strengthen the entire education ecosystem. The model created in this study is aimed at strengthening the role of guidance and counseling teachers in handling student dynamics and building collaboration with the school, parents and the community. The research methodology uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach which includes needs analysis steps, model design, validation by experts, and limited trials in a secondary school environment. Research findings show that this integrated guidance and counseling service model is feasible to implement and effective in increasing the involvement of all parties in solving student problems and creating a school atmosphere that is more supportive of improving the quality of learning. The impact of this model opens up opportunities to increase the strategic role of guidance and counseling services in the education system as a whole.

Faith and piety education from an early age is the main foundation in forming a child's personality that is noble and spiritually strong. Schools as formal educational institutions have an important role in introducing these values through the da'wah bil hikmah approach. This study aims to examine how the da'wah bil hikmah method in the Qur'an can be implemented in the school environment to instill the values of faith and piety in children. With a da'wah approach that is gentle, wise, and in accordance with the child's psychological development, the process of introducing Islamic values becomes more touching and meaningful. The results of the study showed that da'wah bil hikmah applied through Qur'anic stories, teacher role models, and the habit of worship can shape the character of children who are religious, empathetic, and responsible. This paper discusses the role of Arabic in improving speaking skills, especially in the context of daily life. Arabic, which is recognized as the language of revelation in the Qur'an and Hadith, has learning objectives that include understanding Islamic teachings, mastering vocabulary, and effective communication skills. Arabic learning does not only focus on linguistic aspects, but also includes understanding the cultural and social norms that exist in Arab society. The scope of the role of everyday Arabic includes mastering basic vocabulary, improving practical communication skills, understanding simple grammatical structures, and adapting to dialects and cultural contexts. The benefits of learning Arabic are significant, including an understanding of religious teachings, increased educational and career opportunities, and the ability to establish cross-cultural social relationships. Effective learning methods, such as direct, grammatical-translational, and eclectic methods, are proposed to overcome the challenges faced in learning Arabic, such as the complexity of grammatical structures and the lack of exposure in Arabic-speaking environments. With the right strategy, Arabic language learning is expected to form individuals who are not only academically intelligent, but also have high integrity and religious awareness.

This study explores the implementation of liturgical music norms by Catholic Youth (Orang Muda Katolik/OMK) in the St. Raphael Sub-Parish, Saitnihuta. The research aims to examine the extent to which OMK participate in liturgical music ministry in accordance with the principles established by the Catholic Church, particularly regarding the use of liturgical songs and musical instruments. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that OMK show commendable enthusiasm and active involvement in liturgical celebrations by singing hymns from official Church songbooks such as Puji Syukur and by accompanying the liturgy with instruments like guitars, cajons, and keyboards. While this reflects a genuine commitment to serve, it also exposes a lack of structured guidance and theological understanding related to the use of music in the liturgy. Many OMK rely on imitation and personal experience in selecting songs and instruments, often prioritizing the creation of a lively atmosphere rather than enhancing the sacredness of the liturgy. Moreover, the absence of traditional musical instruments and limited liturgical catechesis hinder the proper application of inculturation principles. This study underscores the urgent need for structured formation programs and official liturgical music guidelines to support OMK. With proper mentoring, the creativity and zeal of young people can be nurtured to align with the Church’s vision of sacred, beautiful, and appropriate liturgical music—thus enabling them to become true ministers of prayer who deepen the community’s encounter with the mystery of Christ.
