This study analyzes the effect of variations in cooling and extrusion speeds on a single screw extruder plastic machine to produce filaments. The method used is a factorial Design of Experiment (DOE) with a two-way ANOVA test, where the cooling speed (8.7 m/s, 11.8 m/s, 14.3 m/s) is varied using the inlet valve on the blower and extrusion (20, 30, 40 rpm) is varied using a tachometer. The testing process includes measuring the dimensions and weighing the filament after the extrusion process, and the data is processed using Excel and Minitab-21. The results show that increasing the cooling speed decreases the dimensions and density of the filament, while increasing the extrusion speed increases the dimensions and density of the filament. The interaction between the two is also proven to be statistically significant with 0.000 on dimensions and 0.014 on density ≤ 0.05 (p-value ≤ 0.05). The optimizer response determined the optimal combination at a cooling speed of 14.3 m/s and an extrusion speed of 20 rpm for a target dimension of 1.75 mm, while the optimal parameters for density were at a cooling speed of 8.7 m/s and an extrusion speed of 40 rpm, resulting in the highest density of 0.246 g. These recommendations are expected to improve the efficiency and quality of filament production.

This study aims to analyze the effect of electrical voltage and flywheel mass on the kinetic energy produced by the starter motor, as well as to evaluate the geometric shape of the flywheel. The kinetic energy in the flywheel is influenced by the moment of inertia and angular velocity produced by the starter motor. The study was conducted exprerimentally using a quatitative approach, with variations in voltage (11V-14V) and flywheel mass (0.9-1.2 kg), and analyzed using a Two-Way ANOVA Faktorial test. The results show that both voltage and flywheel mass significantly affect kinetic energy, with increased voltage linearly increasing RPM and energy, and a larger mass increasing the moment of inertia. The interaction between the two is synergistic, with the combination of 1.2 kg and 14V voltage yielding the highest energy (4.0 Joules), and an R-squared value of 97.65 % indicating the model is highly accurate. These findings support the development of efficient mechanical energi storage system and optimal flywheel design.

The challenges often faced by MSMEs are how to promote their products. The technology development nowadays encourages MSMEs to utilize several social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and websites as a promotional tool. The use of social media was believed can help expand the market. This is what is done by the Batik MSME in Juwet Kenongo Village, Sidoarjo Regency. However, the use of this technology is still not effective in increasing their sales. Batik sales are still dominated by orders and participation when attending exhibitions. This is due to the less-than-optimal strategy for utilizing social media. In addition, the storytelling aspect is still an obstacle when promoting on social media. Strengthening storytelling skills through a workshop is believed to be effective in helping MSMEs compose better story narratives. Besides that, this workshop is believed to be an urgent need for MSMEs. The focus of this community service is educational assistance related to compiling marketing through storytelling. MSMEs will be equipped with product narrative writing techniques. The assistance activities were welcomed by MSMEs. The participants were also cooperative and actively asked questions to the speakers. By participating in this training, MSMEs gain insight into the importance of strengthening the storytelling aspect in compiling interesting captions or narratives.

This study explores the metaphor of life in Colleen Hoover’s novel Reminders of Him, aiming to identify the types of linguistic metaphors and analyze the conceptual metaphors that underlie them. Based on Lakoff and Johnson’s conceptual metaphor theory, which classifies metaphors into structural, ontological, and orientational categories, this study highlights the role of metaphor as a cognitive tool, not merely a stylistic device. A qualitative method was employed, with data collected using AntConc software by focusing on parts of the novel containing the word “life.” The Metaphor Identification Procedure was applied to identify linguistic metaphors, which were then categorized based on the word class of the lexical units that were used metaphorically. The results of this study show four types of linguistic metaphors involving the noun “life”: nominal, verbal, adjectival, and prepositional. These forms portray life as a physical object, a process, a possessed attribute, or a container. These linguistic metaphors reflect eight conceptual metaphors, including five ontological metaphors (life is ownership, life is a container, life is an entity, life is air, life is a place) and three structural metaphors (life is a machine, life is a journey, life is a challenge). The diversity of these conceptual metaphors illustrates the rich representation of life in the novel.

Auctions in Indonesia serve a dual function not only as a mechanism for buying and selling to obtain optimal prices, but also as a legal enforcement tool that reflects both the public and private aspects of the auction process. This study aims to analyze the legal standing of the auction minutes deed (akta risalah lelang) in providing legal certainty for auction winners, particularly concerning ownership of vehicles resulting from the execution of state-confiscated assets. This study employs a normative approach, which examines law as a set of norms applicable within society and functions as a guideline for individual behavior. In this context, the auction minutes deed is regarded as an authentic deed; however, its existence does not automatically serve as legitimate proof of ownership for the winning bidder. Nevertheless, the deed still ensures legal certainty by demonstrating the good faith of the buyer and can serve as the legal basis for transferring vehicle ownership documents, proof of the sales transaction, and valid legal evidence.
