Psychological fatigue is a common condition experienced by nursing students due to heavy academic workload, clinical practice demands, and emotional pressure during the learning process. This condition may negatively affect concentration, learning motivation, and overall mental health. One non-pharmacological intervention strategy proven effective in reducing stress and psychological fatigue is Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) based on Jacobson’s technique. In this community service program, PMR was combined with instrumental music to provide a more optimal relaxation effect and to be easily applied by students independently. The purpose of this activity was to provide education, training, and hands-on experience for students in practicing Self-Guided PMR combined with instrumental music as a preventive and promotive effort for mental health. The program was carried out on Thursday, August 14, 2025, involving 15 nursing students as participants. The stages of implementation included delivering material on PMR concepts and mental health, demonstrating Jacobson’s technique, independent practice of PMR with instrumental music, and a reflection session to explore participants’ experiences. The evaluation results indicated that most students reported feeling calmer, more relaxed, experiencing reduced muscle tension, and decreased symptoms of psychological fatigue after the intervention. In addition, students stated that this technique was easy to practice independently, making it a potential simple strategy to maintain mental health throughout their nursing studies. In conclusion, the implementation of Self-Guided PMR based on Jacobson’s technique combined with instrumental music was effective in reducing psychological fatigue among nursing students and in increasing awareness of the importance of independent relaxation practice as part of maintaining mental and physical balance.

This study aims to determine the process and effectiveness of instructional text reading skills in Indonesian Language Lessons through the CIRC method assisted by picture media in slow learner children at the elementary school level. The background of this study is the low reading comprehension ability of slow learner students caused by the lack of appropriate learning methods and media that are suitable for slow learner students. The method used in this study was the Classroom Action Research (CAR) model of Kemmis and Mctaggart, implemented in two cycles. The subjects were six slow-learning fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 002 Karangan. Data were collected through observation, learning test results, and documentation. The results of the learning test for reading instructional text skills showed a significant increase from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, 2 out of 6 slow learner students achieved the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM), with an average score of 60 (classical completion 33.33%). While in cycle II, the number of students who completed the test increased to 5 out of 6 slow learner students with an average score of 80 (classical completion 83.33%). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of the CIRC method assisted by image media can successfully improve instructional text reading skills because it meets the score above the KKM and the students' active involvement in the learning process.

Using Newman's Error Analysis (NEA) as a framework, this study will examine the many ways in which MAN 3 Medan students blunder while answering problems involving logarithms and exponentials. A total of thirty-one MIPA class X students served as subjects for this qualitative descriptive study. Essay tests, interviews with math instructors, and records of student work all contributed to the data set. Data analysis involves reducing, presenting, and making conclusions while triangulating sources to ensure the data is legitimate. According to the research, the two most common points of mistake are when people are trying to grasp the issue and when they are trying to convert it. This is because pupils have a hard time grasping the characteristics and fundamental ideas of logarithms and have a habit of rote memorization rather than critical thinking. Other factors that also affect include the lack of utilization of learning media and low student learning motivation. After being given discussion-based learning and interactive media, the post-test results showed an increase in comprehension and a decrease in conceptual errors. This research recommends that teachers should emphasize student-centered learning by strengthening basic concepts and implementing contextual problem-solving strategies.

This study aims to compare the results of student living cost estimates over a four-year study period using two approaches in financial mathematics, namely the discrete model and the continuous model. The background of the study is based on the need for students to manage their personal finances effectively amidst rising living costs due to inflation. The discrete model is used to predict expenses at certain time intervals, while the continuous model assumes that changes in the value of money occur continuously at all times. This study uses a quantitative descriptive-comparative method with controlled simulations on 100 student data with variations in monthly living costs between Rp2,000,000–Rp4,000,000 and a random inflation rate of 0%–20%. The data were analyzed using discrete and continuous growth formulas, then a Paired Sample t-Test was performed to determine significant differences between the two models. The results show that both models produce very similar living cost estimates with an average difference of only about 1–3% of the total four-year costs. The continuous model produces slightly higher results than the discrete model due to its exponential and continuous nature of calculations. However, the statistical test results showed a p-value > 0.05, indicating no statistically significant difference between the two. Practically, both approaches can be used equally in student financial planning, with the discrete model being more appropriate for short-term projections and the continuous model being more appropriate for long-term projections.
