The waste problem in Tamanan village is an issue that needs serious attention because of its impact on environmental pollution and public health. One of the main challenges is the low awareness of residents, especially elementary school children, in terms of good and correct waste management. A lot of waste is thrown carelessly without sorting, which results in a decrease in the quality of cleanliness and health of the village environment. This community service program aims to improve students' understanding and skills in waste management through a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach for 40 days. This program involves students of MI Nurur Rahman and SDN Tamanan 1 as the main subjects. The activities carried out include socialization about the importance of waste management, the delivery of material on types of waste, as well as the practice of sorting organic, inorganic, and B3 waste. In addition, the installation of educational media in the school environment and evaluation monitoring were also carried out. The results of the evaluation showed that 73% of students were able to answer the quiz questions correctly ≥70%, which indicates their good understanding of waste management. Some students also began to implement the habit of separating waste at home and inviting families to participate. Support from village officials and the existence of educational media are expected to strengthen the sustainability of this program. Participatory approaches have proven to be effective in raising environmental awareness and can be implemented sustainably through collaboration between schools, communities, and village governments.

This study aims to explore the potential of cassava extract (Manihot esculenta)-based growth media for isolating microorganisms from soil. The use of alternative culture media is crucial, especially in regions with limited access to commercial media such as Nutrient Agar or Potato Dextrose Agar, which are relatively expensive. Cassava, a tropical tuber rich in starch and widely available in Indonesia, offers significant promise as a natural substrate for microbial growth. Microbial isolation was performed using a serial dilution method on soil samples collected from an organic garden. The media was prepared from cassava juice mixed with agar and glucose, sterilized, and poured into petri dishes. After inoculation, microbes were incubated for seven days at room temperature. Colony morphology was observed macroscopically, and Gram staining was used to identify bacterial characteristics. The results revealed that cassava extract media effectively supported the growth of diverse microbial colonies, varying in shape, color, and edge structure. Most isolates were identified as Gram-positive, with rod and coccus forms. The presence of pigmented colonies indicates the potential of certain isolates to produce bioactive compounds. In conclusion, cassava extract-based media is a viable alternative for soil microbiology studies. It is not only cost-effective but also facilitates the exploration of local microbial diversity with potential applications in biotechnology, including bioremediation and enzyme production. This approach encourages the use of indigenous resources in scientific research, promoting sustainability and accessibility in microbiological practices.

Research on stock splits has been widely conducted in Indonesia and internationally, as stock splits are considered an important corporate action that can influence investor perception and stock performance. However, the motivations and consequences of stock splits remain diverse, ranging from efforts to increase stock liquidity, adjust market price ranges, attract new investors, or signal positive corporate prospects. This study aims to empirically reanalyze the effect of stock splits on trading volume and stock prices of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2022–2024 period. Specifically, the research investigates whether significant differences exist between trading activities and stock price levels before and after the stock split event. The data used in this study are historical in nature, consisting of stock split announcements, daily trading volume, and stock price movements surrounding the event period. To test the hypotheses, this research employs both the paired-sample t-test and the Wilcoxon signed-rank test as statistical tools. These tests are appropriate because they allow for the comparison of two related samples, namely the stock performance indicators before and after the split. The selection between the two methods depends on the distribution of the data, where the paired t-test is used if the data is normally distributed, while the Wilcoxon test is applied if the normality assumption is not met. This study is categorized as moderate TKT (Technology Readiness Level 4–6) because it uses secondary historical data and focuses on empirical statistical analysis rather than experimental or simulation-based approaches. By examining stock split events within the specified period, this research contributes to the understanding of whether stock splits in Indonesia are primarily cosmetic in nature or if they generate real economic impacts on liquidity and stock valuation. The findings are expected to provide useful insights for investors, market analysts, and policymakers in assessing the relevance and effectiveness of stock splits as a corporate strategy.

High turnover intention has become a critical issue in the broadcasting industry, especially in divisions that operate under fast-paced tasks and high levels of pressure. This study aims to analyze the influence of career development and job satisfaction on employees’ intention to leave the organization. Career development is measured through indicators such as promotion opportunities, work experience, and training, while job satisfaction is assessed through compensation, work environment, and recognition. A quantitative research design was applied, utilizing Partial Least Square (PLS) to analyze data obtained from a survey of employees working in a broadcasting company in Surabaya. The findings demonstrate that both career development and job satisfaction have a significant negative relationship with turnover intention, meaning that improvements in these variables can effectively reduce employees’ desire to quit. Among the career development indicators, work experience was found to be the most dominant factor influencing employee retention. On the other hand, recognition emerged as the most influential dimension of job satisfaction, showing that appreciation from the organization plays a crucial role in maintaining employee commitment. Overall, this study highlights the importance for broadcasting companies to implement effective career development strategies and enhance job satisfaction in order to minimize turnover intention and sustain organizational stability.
