Learning evaluation is an important part of the education process. In the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI), evaluation is not only centered on the knowledge aspect, but also assesses the development of students' religious character. This study aims to examine the influence of learning evaluation on student learning outcomes at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surakarta, and to describe the learning strategies applied by educators in an effort to improve these results. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study revealed that learning evaluation was carried out in various forms, such as daily assignments, mid-semester tests (PTS), and end-of-semester assessments (PAS). The strategies applied by teachers include providing role models, giving rewards, delivering moral messages, sharing inspiring experiences, and developing honest and polite behavior. Structured and integrated evaluation with this learning strategy has a meaningful impact on student learning outcomes, both in academic aspects and character development.

This research aims to identify and evaluate learning strategies at SDN Cibanjaran. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the study relied on in-depth interviews, observations and group discussions to explore criticisms and suggestions for learning methods. The findings show that effective learning strategies involve a differentiated approach, where materials and methods are tailored to students’ individual needs. Problem-based learning (PBL) and project-based learning (PJBL) models are considered to increase student relevance and motivation. However, the different characteristics of today’s students compared to those of the past pose new challenges, especially in the application of discipline, which must now be more humane. In addition, adjusting to the Merdeka Curriculum is crucial, where teachers are encouraged to continue learning through platforms such as PMM. This study concludes that learning strategies need to adapt to changing times, environments and student needs to create a meaningful learning process. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of inclusive and dynamic learning, and the role of teachers as innovative facilitators.

Students critical thinking skills cannot develop appropriately if in the learning process, the teacher is not active. Therefore, to improve students' critical thinking skills, a teacher should choose and use strategies, approaches, and methods techniques that involve students actively in learning, both in manner mental, physical, and social. One alternative learning that provides opportunities for students to develop students' critical thinking skills in problem solving is problem-based learning. This research was a research study literature examining related journal application of problem-based learning to improve critical thinking skills. The findings of this study included: (1) the implementation of PBL has the potential to help students motivate and provide learning experiences; and (2) PBL implementation is very useful in improving students' critical thinking skills, provided that teachers and students can apply each stage of PBL well.

This research leads to exploring the effectiveness of active learning strategies in improving students' critical thinking skills in the modern era. By utilizing a qualitative approach and field study methods, the research was conducted at SMP IT Mutiara Ilmu Sokaraja. Data was collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation of principals, teachers, and 8th grade students. The results of the study prove that active learning strategies, such as group discussions, questions and answers, and project-based learning, significantly improve students' critical thinking skills. Students are honed to analyze, evaluate, and solve problems independently, so they are better prepared to face the challenges of the 21st century. In addition, the study reveals the important role of technology as a support for active learning, although its use is still limited to simple devices such as laptops and projectors. The obstacles found include limited technology facilities, learning time, and diverse levels of student readiness. These findings support Neil Smelser's concept of social adaptation, where active learning reflects an adaptive response to modernizing changes in education. The conclusion of this study is that active learning strategies are effective in building students' critical thinking skills, but require support in the form of adequate technological facilities and intensive training for teachers. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of investment in educational technology and teacher capacity building to optimize the implementation of active learning in various educational contexts.

This research aims to explore and analyze learning strategy innovations in shaping students as reliable educator candidates who are able to face educational challenges in the digital era. The main focus of the research is the application of technology-based learning approaches, collaboration, and creative strategies that place students not only as recipients of knowledge, but also as active subjects who construct understanding through learning experiences. This study was carried out in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program (PGMI) of the Syarifuddin Lumajang Islamic Religious Institute by involving 30 students who took the learning strategy course. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation. The findings of the study show that the application of flipped classroom is able to increase student learning independence, while project-based learning strategies encourage creativity and problem-solving skills. In addition, the use of interactive technology such as online quiz applications, discussion platforms, and collaborative media strengthens learning motivation while expanding students' digital skills. Although the results showed a positive impact, there were significant obstacles, namely the limitations of technology infrastructure in the campus environment and the low digital literacy of some students. These factors hinder the optimization of innovative learning strategies. Therefore, institutional support is needed in providing technology-based infrastructure, digital literacy training, and continuous mentoring so that students can develop pedagogical competence, professionalism, and adaptive abilities in accordance with the demands of 21st century education. Overall, this study emphasizes that learning strategy innovation supported by technology, collaboration, and support of educational institutions is able to strengthen the process of forming prospective educators who are competent, competitive, and ready to face the dynamics of the world of education in the digital era.

This research aims to overcome students' difficulties in preparing logical and systematic presentations by implementing project-based learning (PJBL) strategies. The problem faced is the limited ability of students to respond and present information effectively. This research used mixed methods, involving observation, interviews with teachers, as well as pretest and posttest tests on 25 grade 5 elementary school students to evaluate the effectiveness of this strategy. Qualitative data was collected through observation and interviews to understand student responses, while quantitative data was obtained from the results of the pretest and posttest which were compared using the paired t test. The research results show that PJBL is effective in improving students' presentation skills logically and systematically, as well as increasing self-confidence and collaboration skills. Based on these results, it is recommended that teachers consider implementing PJBL with a focus on real experience and collaboration to achieve more optimal learning.
