This research aims to improve students' understanding of learning in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects through the application of the Direct Instruction learning model. Direct Instruction is a structured and systematic teaching method, which aims to provide direct and clear instructions to students. In this research, an experiment was carried out in a middle school involving two groups of students: an experimental group that used the Direct Instruction model and a control group that used conventional learning methods. The research results showed that students taught using the Direct Instruction model experienced a significant increase in understanding compared to students taught using the conventional method. This is shown by an increase in comprehension test scores before and after intervention in the experimental group. In addition, observations and interviews with students show that the Direct Instruction model helps them understand the material more effectively and increases involvement in the teaching and learning process. The conclusion of this research is that the Direct Instruction learning model is effective in increasing students' learning understanding in PAI subjects. Implementation of this model can be an alternative for teachers to improve the quality of learning and students' understanding of the subject matter.

The first revelation in Q.S. al-'Alaq: 1-5 in rejecting ignorance, injustice, and monopoly, and emphasizing education to form intelligent individuals and Qur'anic characters. The verse inspires the formation of a progressive and civilized society. Ideal education should not only rely on empirical theories but should also integrate essential metaphysical concepts. In Arabic, educational terms such as ta'lim, tadris, and ta'dib have different but complementary meanings, highlighting aspects of teaching, formal instruction, and moral education. Islamic education combines scientific knowledge with spiritual values, forming individuals with morals and integrity. The thoughts of Ki Hajar Dewantara and K.H. Ahmad Dahlan were instrumental in shaping Indonesian national education, emphasizing character, religiosity, and modern knowledge. This integrative effort reflects an education that is inclusive, equitable, and encourages students' creativity and independence to face global challenges.

Broadly speaking, there are three theories about the arrival of Islam to Indonesia, namely the Gujarat theory, the Arabic theory and the Persian theory. The arrival of Islam to various regions in Indonesia did not occur simultaneously. Likewise, the various regions and kingdoms he visited had opposing socio-cultural and political conditions. Historians agree that Sumatra was the region where Islam first visited. The word wali songo is a combination of "wali" and "songo". The word wali is a form of the word waliyullah and comes from Arabic which means someone who loves and is loved by Allah. Then songo comes from Javanese which means nine. With this, wali songo is interpreted as wali nine, namely nine people who love and are loved by Allah SWT. Wali Songo has had a big influence in various fields in the process of spreading Islamic teachings in Indonesia, especially in Java. These fields include education, politics and da'wah.

Humans in their lives have many interests and goals, so it is inevitable that conflicts and quarrels may occur due to conflicting interests. The Kanjuruhan tragedy was a bloody conflict that claimed hundreds of lives, which was caused by many factors, one of which was the difference in interests that led to abuse of authority. One of the main problems according to the community's perspective in the Kanjuruhan phenomenon was the firing of tear gas by the police. The police at that time became stewards by complying with all the regulations set by FIFA and at the same time had a role as law enforcers and obeyed the laws in force in Indonesia. For this reason, this article aims to discuss how the Kanjuruhan incident occurred, through the analysis of Dahrendorf's conflict perspective theory and how the Authority at that time played its role. This article is prepared with a research method using a qualitative approach, namely the literature study method and analysis of the Watchdoc Documentary Youtube channel.

The subjects in this study were 35 fourth grade students, as a test class. This reseach and development uses the Classroom Action Research Method developed by Kemmis and Mc Taggart (1992:11). The method is carried out from the first to the fourth step, namely: (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The effectiveness test uses data collection techniques in the from of observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The effectiveness of animated video media to increase motivation, attract attention, increase understanding, improve student learning outcomes, and learning objectives can be achieved as desired. Effectiveness can be seen from the scores of students’ completenss presentation results at the pre-cycle stage, the first cycle stage, then continued with the activity stages in the second cycle. The result of the study indicate that the animated video learning media is feasible to use for learning at the elementary school level. The results of the feasibility test of animated video learning media through teacher validation in operational field trials in the “Good” category. Tehere is a significant difference in the results of the presentation of students’ completeness scores between before and after using animated video learning media in the teaching and learning process.

The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of the Means Ends Analysis learning model on the active learning of Christian Religious Education and Characteristics of class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Simanindo for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research method used is a quantitative method with inferential statistics. The population is all class Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 40 items, namely 24 items for variable Negeri 1 Simanindo for the 2023/2024 academic year, proven through the following data analysis: 1) Test analysis requirements: a) positive relationship test obtained by the value rxy = 0.712 > rtable(a=0.05,n=46) = 0.291. b) Testing a significant relationship obtained tcount= 6.726> ttable(a=0.05, dk=n-2=44)= 2.021. 2) Test the effect: a) Test the regression equation, obtained the regression equation Y ̂=20.23+0.37X. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 50.7%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable=(a=0.05, dk numerator k=31, dk denominator=n-2=46-2=44) namely 45.264 > 1.51. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

This study was motivated by the discovery of a phenomenon found by researchers in purchasing decisions related to ewom and brand awareness in Grand Basko Hotel Padang. The research method used in this study is quantitative with a causal-associative approach (cause and effect) using the survey method. The population of this study included guests who have stayed at Grand Basko Hotel Padang. The research sample consisted of 110 respondents. The sampling method used was non-probability based sampling with the type of sampling i.e. purposive sampling. The instruments were tested with validity and reliability tests. The analysis requirements are tested with the normality test, heteroskedarity test and multicollinearity test. The hypothesis tests are performed with multiple linear regression tests, t-tests (partial), f-tests (simultaneous) and the coefficient of determination. The result of the R square is 0.849, which means that the ewom variable affects the purchase decision by 84.9%. The value for the R-square brand recognition can get 0.863 results. This means that the variables for brand recognition affect the purchase decision of Grand Basko Hotel Padang by 86.3%. The Adjusted R-squared (R²) value is 0.898, indicating that the combined influence of eWOM and brand awareness on purchase decisions is approximately 89.8%. The remaining 11.2% of the variation is influenced by other factors not discussed in this study.
