This article examines the management of marine tourism in Lanjukang Island, a tourist destination located in the Spermonde Islands, Makassar City, South Sulawesi, with a focus on the role of maritime diplomacy in increasing tourism potential while preserving marine resources. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature study methods and interviews with relevant parties, such as local governments and local communities. Lanjukang Island, with its beautiful underwater nature and beaches, faces challenges in the form of coral reef damage due to destructive fishing practices and coastal abrasion processes. Nevertheless, Lanjukang Island remains an attractive tourist destination for domestic and foreign tourists. The Makassar City Government plays an active role in promoting marine tourism through international collaboration, one of which is through the Makassar International Eight Festival and Forum (F8) event. Maritime diplomacy, which emphasizes international cooperation in marine resource management and tourism, plays a key role in facilitating sustainable tourism development on Lanjukang Island. The research found that while there is great potential in the marine tourism sector, more integrated and sustainable management is needed to support the local economy and the preservation of the marine environment. Collaboration between government, community and international partners is essential to achieve a balance between tourism development and nature conservation.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)plays a vital role in criminal investigations, offering innovative solutions to challenges faced by law enforcement. With its fast and accurate data analysis capabilities, AI can identify behavioral patterns, detect anomalies, and predict potential crimes. Technologies such as facial recognition, social network analysis, and natural language processing help speed up the investigation process and improve prosecution effectiveness. However, the application of AI also raises ethical challenges, including privacy issues and potential bias in algorithms. Therefore, it is important to develop a framework that ensures the responsible use of AI in a legal context.

Indonesia is an archipelago with diverse languages, ethnicities, religions and cultural tribes. Although there are many differences, Indonesian citizens always uphold kinship, tolerance and harmony in their environment.  This is in accordance with the motto of the Indonesian nation, namely “Bhineka Tunggal Ika” which describes the diversity of the Indonesian nation, but still one. In dispute resolution, in addition to legal channels, another form of dispute resolution in the form of alternative out-of-court settlements, which is often used by the Indonesian people, is the concept of mediation. One example of its application is in Jarin Village, Pamekasan, which resolves disputes through a negotiation process to obtain a peaceful agreement. The parties to the dispute are assisted by mediators, who are played by the village government and community leaders who are respected by the community. The form of research method used is Empirical. The research data comes from field samples that will be analyzed in a qualitative description. The results of the research are used to determine how effective mediation is in resolving disputes non-litigatively or without legal and/or judicial channels.

This writing aims to describe the development of the Social Studies curriculum in Indonesia. Social studies education in Indonesia did not just appear and develop, but through a long journey full of dynamics. This article reviews social studies education from a historical perspective and its development using historical research methods, which include the steps of heuristics, source criticism (external and internal), interpretation, and historiography. The development of the social studies curriculum in Indonesia has adopted the concepts of social studies education in several major countries, such as the United States and the United Kingdom, which became a reference because of the similarity of the conditions of multicultural society and the background of the country's unstable situation at that time. Nevertheless, the development of social studies education in Indonesia is adapted to the conditions of society and government in the country, which has an impact on the preparation of curriculum and implementation of learning in schools. Along with technological advances, social studies education also continues to grow by utilizing a variety of learning resources and media. In addition, the development of social studies learning materials also involves the active participation of the wider community.

This study aims to examine the contribution of historical science in the effort to revitalize museums as educational institutions and preserve cultural heritage. Museums, as public spaces that store and exhibit historical collections, have an important role in facilitating public understanding of the nation's history. However, in the context of the development of the times and changes in public preferences, museums often face challenges in attracting visitors. The contribution of historical science in museum revitalization includes a more interactive approach, technology integration, and storytelling based on in-depth historical research. Thus, historical science not only functions as a source of information, but also as a basis for creating educational experiences that can connect the current generation with relevant historical values. This study suggests various revitalization strategies that can be applied to increase the attractiveness and function of museums as centers for learning and preserving culture, as well as strengthening historical awareness.
