The spirituality of shepherding (Satua Niha Keriso) plays a crucial role in shaping spiritual leadership within the congregation. This article examines the concept of shepherding from a New Testament perspective and its implications for church development. Using a qualitative approach based on biblical and theological studies, this research highlights Christ’s example as the Good Shepherd and its application in church ministry. The findings indicate that the spirituality of shepherding is not only related to teaching and faith nurturing but also reflects love, humility, and responsibility in building a spiritually healthy community. These findings emphasize that church leaders must embody the values of true shepherding in nurturing, guiding, and serving their congregation with integrity. Thus, the spirituality of shepherding contributes to strengthening faith and fostering church growth in the contemporary context.

Slope failure can occur even though slope design and reinforcement have been carried out. However, before it completely collapses, there are often signs from the slope. These signs should be carefully observed through slope monitoring or surveillance activities to provide advance warnings regarding the development of slope instability, allowing mitigation measures to be implemented to reduce or avoid the impacts of instability, as well as to predict the timing of landslides using Inverse Velocity. This study was conducted at the PIT of PT Fajar Sakti Prima in East Kalimantan Province. Observations were carried out over 39 days to obtain deformation behavior, velocity values for mitigation actions, and inverse velocity values to predict the timing of landslides. In this observation, the deformation behavior values at PM 01, PM 02, and PM 03 were initially linear, then exhibited progressive behavior on November 7-8, 2024. The predicted landslide timing from this observation was November 20-21, 2024. Based on velocity values correlated with the TARP, critical categories were obtained at 7.40 - 9.86 cm/day and very critical at >26.17 cm/day

The use of persuasion theory is extremely important in daily life. Persuasion is crucial in situations other than marketing campaigns or political campaigns. Disseminating information to the general public and researching shifts in social norms and values both require persuasion. Aristotle's rhetorical triangle—ethos, pathos, and logos—is one of the persuasive techniques that have a significant impact on the communication industry. Aristotle's rhetorical triangle has been the subject of numerous studies, but few have addressed the problem of message delivery, particularly in digital public service announcements. The writer was encouraged to hold an ABDIMAS activity entitled "The application of Aristotle's rhetoric as a persuasive strategy for public service messages by Gen Alpha" at SMA Fons Vitae 1 Matraman, East Jakarta. The participants who attended were 22 people, 11 men, and 11 women, a combination of students from grades X to XII who were members of the English Club. The ABDIMAS activity which was held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, combined lecture technique and direct practice. From the results of the practice, it was found that all participants were able to apply Aristotle's rhetorical triangle persuasion strategy, with the most dominant strategy used being logos.

Casework is a process used by humanitarian service agencies to assist individuals in addressing social functioning issues. This process includes several stages: engagement, assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and termination. This study examines the application of the casework method with a client named SM, a 30-year-old widow with two children facing economic and social limitations. Through interviews and observations using the BPSS (Bio, Psycho, Social, Spiritual) approach, the practitioner assessed the client’s condition, revealing that SM struggled with economic difficulties and challenges in providing adequate care for her children. In the intervention stage, SM was provided with a program to develop weaving skills, which led to the production of woven mats, curtains, and decorations. Monitoring was conducted to ensure that the client adhered to the program, ultimately increasing SM’s income to Rp 40,000 per day. In the termination stage, the cooperation between the practitioner and the client was concluded as the agreed-upon goals had been achieved. This study demonstrates that with the right approach, individuals facing social and economic limitations can develop their potential and improve their well-being.

This study aims to comprehensively examine the influence of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT) on enhancing students’ problem-solving abilities in physics education. The integration of IoT into PBL is seen as a progressive approach to address the growing demand for innovative instructional strategies that promote higher-order thinking skills. A quantitative approach was adopted, utilizing a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group format to assess the effectiveness of the intervention. The participants were 25 undergraduate physics students from the University of West Sulawesi, selected through saturated sampling due to the limited population size. To evaluate students’ problem-solving skills, data were collected using structured written tests designed around five key indicators: understanding the problem, describing the problem, planning the solution, executing the solution, and evaluating the results. Prior to hypothesis testing, normality of the data was assessed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, followed by paired sample t-tests with IBM SPSS Statistics 23 to determine the significance of differences in pretest and posttest scores. The findings revealed a statistically significant improvement in students’ problem-solving skills following the implementation of the IoT-based PBL model, with results showing significance at the 5% level and gain scores classified as effective. Earnings management remains a critical topic in financial reporting, as it can mislead stakeholders and distort the actual financial performance of a company. This study aims to analyze and test the effect of deferred tax assets, deferred tax expenses, and managerial ownership on earnings management in Consumer Non-Cyclicals companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2023 period. The motivation behind this research stems from the increasing concerns over the use of tax-related components and ownership structures as instruments in manipulating financial outcomes. The research employs a descriptive method with a quantitative approach, utilizing secondary data sourced from published financial statements and annual reports. The sample is selected through purposive sampling based on specific criteria, resulting in a total of 10 companies being analyzed. The analytical techniques applied include descriptive statistics, panel data regression, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing to ensure robust and valid results. The findings reveal that deferred tax assets do not significantly affect earnings management practices. In contrast, deferred tax expenses and managerial ownership are found to have a significant influence on earnings management. Furthermore, when tested simultaneously, deferred tax assets, deferred tax expenses, and managerial ownership collectively exhibit a significant effect on earnings management. These results imply that while not all tax-related variables influence earnings manipulation, certain components—particularly deferred tax expenses and ownership structure—play a pivotal role. This study contributes to the literature by providing empirical evidence on the relevance of tax accounting and governance mechanisms in shaping earnings quality.
