The development of the sharia economy in Indonesia demands the existence of a judicial institution capable of resolving disputes in accordance with Islamic legal principles. The Religious Court, through the amendment of Law Number 3 of 2006, has obtained the authority to handle cases in the field of sharia economics, including Islamic banking disputes. However, the implementation of this authority faces various challenges, both in terms of regulation, dualism of authority with general courts, and institutional readiness, such as human resources and infrastructure. This study employs a qualitative method with a normative juridical approach to analyze the legal basis, court practices, and institutional responses in the exercise of this authority. The results of the study indicate that the Religious Court holds great potential as a pillar for upholding sharia economic law but requires reinforcement in various aspects, including improving judges’ competencies, digitalizing the judicial system, and fostering inter-institutional synergy. Moreover, legal protection for justice seekers highly depends on the effectiveness and professionalism of the judicial institution. Therefore, a sustainable strategy is needed to build the institutional capacity of the Religious Court to respond to the dynamics of the sharia economy in a fair, accountable manner and in line with Islamic legal values in Indonesia.

The exploitation of children by parents through forced begging is a serious violation of children's rights protected by national law. This study aims to analyze legal protection for children based on Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection and the Indonesian Penal Code (KUHP). The research method used is normative juridical with a statutory approach. The analysis shows that the state firmly prohibits the exploitation of children and imposes criminal sanctions on parents who force their children to beg. This protection includes both preventive and repressive measures. The Penal Code also strengthens child protection through provisions regarding criminal acts against minors. However, the implementation faces obstacles such as economic conditions, cultural factors, and lack of supervision. Strengthening legal enforcement and raising public awareness are necessary to ensure that child protection is effectively carried out. This study concludes that although legal instruments are available, concrete steps are still needed to eliminate child exploitation practices within the family environment.

Village financial management is one of the key indicators in realizing effective village governance. However, in many villages, including Sidoan Timur Village, Sidoan District, Parigi Moutong Regency, Central Sulawesi, the practice of financial transparency and accountability still faces various obstacles. This study aims to assess the application of the principles of transparency and accountability in the financial management of Sidoan Timur Village, Sidoan District, Parigi Moutong Regency, Central Sulawesi, by referring to the perspective of village governance. The approach used is a qualitative method through case studies. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and review of official village documentation. Data analysis was carried out with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and inductive conclusion drawing. The research findings reveal that village financial management has not fully implemented the principle of transparency, because financial information is not routinely published and administrative accountability is still formal, without active involvement from the community. In addition, the implementation of financial governance regulations has not been consistent at the operational level. In conclusion, the practice of transparency and accountability in Sidoan Timur Village needs to be strengthened by increasing the capacity of village officials, optimizing public information media, and empowering community participation.
