Mining roads play an important role in supporting the smooth running of mining activities, especially in the process of transporting materials. The bearing capacity of the soil as a road subgrade greatly affects the stability and resistance of the road to heavy equipment loads. This study aims to analyze the effect of the plasticity index and compaction parameters on the California Bearing Ratio (CBR) value, as well as to determine the thickness of the road layer based on the laboratory CBR value. Testing was carried out at the South Pit of PT. Bina Sarana Sukses site PT. Baramulti Suksessarana with a field test method using the Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) and laboratory tests such as proctor tests, Atterberg limit tests, and CBR tests on various variations of clay and sand soil mixtures. The results showed that increasing the plasticity index decreased the CBR value, while increasing the maximum dry density and decreasing the optimum water content increased the CBR value. Based on the laboratory CBR value, recommendations were obtained for the appropriate road layer thickness to ensure optimal bearing capacity for heavy equipment passing through the research area.

Internal combustion engines generate thermal energy through the combustion of an air-fuel mixture. The incoming air must be filtered, as it contains impurities and particles. While air filters are commonly made from paper, they can also be developed using organic waste materials such as sugarcane bagasse and rice husk. This study aims to analyze the effect of biocomposite air filters on engine power, torque, and specific fuel consumption (SFC), by varying the material composition and the number of pleats, and comparing the results with those of a standard air filter. The method used is a quantitative experimental approach involving dyno testing on a 150 cc motorcycle engine. The tested material compositions include 50:50, 40:60, 30:70, 60:40, and 70:30 (sugarcane bagasse\:rice husk), with pleat counts of 28, 26, and 24. Results showed that the biocomposite filter with 28 pleats and a 30:70 composition delivered the best performance, producing 18.47 Hp and 16.66 Nm of torque—higher than the standard filter’s 17.98 Hp and 15.52 Nm. In terms of fuel efficiency, the 26-pleat filter with a 50:50 composition recorded the lowest SFC at 41.90 g/kWh, significantly better than the standard filter’s 53.03 g/kWh. Conversely, the 60:40 composition resulted in the highest SFC due to increased airflow resistance.

Seiring gencarnya kampanye pentingnya penerapan konsep green industry, maka PT XYZ mengembangkan sistem manajemen gudang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan bisnis dimasa depan. Sistem ini mencakup aplikasi seluler untuk manajemen inventaris, pemindaian barcode, pelacakan inventaris, dan verifikasi proses. Aplikasi mobile scanner dirancang untuk menyediakan fungsi pemindaian barcode untuk manajemen inventaris di gudang. Aplikasi tersebut akan diinstal pada Cloud Server PT XYZ, yang terdiri dari aplikasi mobile, aplikasi web, dan database. Aplikasi mobile akan terintegrasi dengan aplikasi business central, sedangkan aplikasi web akan dapat diakses melalui browser dengan format HTML5. Database akan diinstal pada cloud server, memungkinkan konektivitas internet di seluruh gudang. Penerapan warehouse management system di PT XYZ ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan proses bisnis sekaligus melakukan penghematan biaya produksi dan energi listrik yang merupakan tujuan dari konsep green industry. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penggunaan energi listrik mengalami penghematan hingga 96% dan juga penurunan pengeluaran biaya dalam satu tahun sebesar Rp 2.099.212.800,-.

Keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) merupakan aspek penting dalam industri manufaktur, khususnya pada proses yang melibatkan mesin berisiko tinggi seperti spot welding. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis penyebab kecelakaan kerja yang terjadi pada mesin spot welding di salah satu perusahaan manufaktur, serta merancang sistem kerja yang lebih aman dengan pendekatan Kaizen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung, studi dokumen, dan wawancara. Analisis risiko dilakukan menggunakan metode HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control), dan akar masalah diidentifikasi menggunakan diagram fishbone. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecelakaan kerja terjadi akibat ketidakpatuhan operator terhadap prosedur kerja, tidak adanya sistem pengaman otomatis, serta lemahnya pengawasan. Sebagai solusi, dirancang perbaikan sistem kerja dengan menerapkan double-hand operation system untuk mencegah tangan operator berada di area berbahaya saat mesin beroperasi. Modifikasi ini dinilai efektif karena merupakan bentuk poka-yoke yang sederhana namun mampu menghilangkan risiko secara teknis. Penerapan sistem kerja berbasis Kaizen terbukti dapat meningkatkan keselamatan kerja secara signifikan dan mencegah terulangnya kecelakaan serupa di masa mendatang.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan media video animasi dalam pembelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI) dapat meningkatkan minat belajar dan memperkuat karakter religius siswa kelas VII MTs Nurul Islam Slatri, serta faktor-faktor penentu minat dan implikasi terhadap karakter religius dalam pendidikan agama islam (PAI) diluar sekolah dan pembelajaran sepanjang hayat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik alanisis data yang digunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri atas pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media video animasi mampu menyajikan materi SKI secara lebih menarik, visual, dan kontekstual sehingga mempermudah siswa memahami sejarah dan keteladanan tokoh Islam. Video animasi yang mengandung pesan moral dan religius secara tidak langsung mendorong siswa untuk meneladani nilai-nilai islami dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, seperti disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan kejujuran. Penggunaan media ini juga menumbuhkan antusiasme dan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran, yang merupakan indikator meningkatnya minat belajar. Hal ini menguatkan pentingnya inovasi media dalam pembelajaran PAI yang tidak hanya fokus pada pengetahuan, tetapi juga pembentukan karakter.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in supporting regional economic development. However, inefficient inventory management remains a significant challenge in operational effectiveness. This study aims to analyze raw material inventory control at Kebab & Burger Foursist MSME in Tarakan City using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Reorder Point (ROP) methods. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, utilizing annual sales data, ordering costs, and storage costs of main raw materials. The results indicate that the implementation of EOQ and ROP effectively determines the optimal purchase quantity and reorder timing, thereby minimizing total inventory costs and reducing the risk of stockouts or overstocking. The use of POM-QM for Windows software enhances the accuracy of the analysis. The implications of this study offer practical solutions for MSME actors in managing raw material procurement more efficiently and systematically.

In an effort to create a safe and productive work environment, the Behavior Based Safety (BBS) approach has become one of the main strategies in occupational safety management, especially in high-risk industries such as logistics. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of the Behavior Based Safety (BBS) method in shaping the safe behavior of workers at PT XYZ, a logistics company in Balikpapan. The BBS method is an occupational safety approach that focuses on individual behavior in preventing work accidents. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through direct observation and interviews with management and workers. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of BBS at PT XYZ has not been running optimally. Some of the main obstacles found include the lack of standard operating procedures (SOPs), lack of occupational safety training, weak communication between management and workers, and minimal involvement of workers in a safety culture. Although there is a commitment from management, improvements are still needed in the aspects of socializing safety policies, providing written documents, and ongoing training to build a safe and sustainable work culture.

This study aims to analyze how the implementation of collaborative governance in the Nutritious Food Yard Program (P2B) strengthens community-based food security in Sidoarjo Regency. A qualitative approach with a case study method was used to explore the social dynamics in depth. The research was conducted in Kampung Edukasi Sampah, Sekardangan Sub-district, one of the active areas in P2B implementation. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis involving key stakeholders such as the Sidoarjo City Food and Agriculture Office, Sidoarjo Police Sector, village officials, farmer groups, and environmental cadres. The analysis applied the collaborative governance model by Ansell and Gash (2008), which includes five indicators: face-to-face dialogue, trust building, commitment to the process, shared understanding, and intermediate outcomes. The findings show that most indicators of collaboration have been realized, particularly in communication and trust-building aspects. However, some challenges remain, including the absence of formal agreement documents among actors, inconsistent communication, lack of program outreach, and overlapping roles between the police and related agencies. This research contributes to strengthening cross-sectoral collaboration models in community-based food security programs in urban areas.

Islam prescribes marriage as a sacred and fundamental institution in human life, aiming to preserve dignity, lineage, and to build a harmonious (sakinah), loving (mawaddah), and compassionate (rahmah) family. In Islamic teachings, marriage can be conducted either monogamously or polygamously, with specific conditions. In Indonesia, polygamous practices are strictly regulated by various legal provisions, such as Law Number 1 of 1974 and the Compilation of Islamic Law. Nevertheless, polygamy remains a controversial issue in society, often carried out without fulfilling legal requirements, such as through unregistered (sirri) marriages. This phenomenon reflects a legal dualism between religious norms and state regulations. Furthermore, the social construction of polygamy shows that it is not merely a religious or legal issue, but also a product of social, cultural, economic dynamics, and the evolution of modern values. This study aims to explore how social construction shapes the perception and practice of polygamy and its implications for household harmony. Using a multidisciplinary approach, this study seeks to provide a comprehensive understanding of the relevance of polygamy in contemporary society and its impact on family structure and child welfare.

This study uses a qualitative method to describe the infestation of Oryctes rhinoceros beetles in oil palm plantations and its impact on crop productivity. This pest poses a major threat to oil palm cultivation due to its ability to damage the growing points of both young and mature plants, resulting in a significant decline in yield. The study was conducted through field observations and in-depth interviews with farmers and field technicians at an oil palm plantation in Sumatra. The findings reveal that Oryctes infestations are more prevalent in plantations with poor sanitation and limited implementation of regular biological control systems. Farmers predominantly rely on mechanical and chemical control methods, which have proven to be less effective due to the lack of coordinated and sustainable application. Therefore, an ecologically-based integrated pest management strategy is needed, combining biological control, cultural practices, and farmer education to effectively suppress pest populations and ensure the sustainability of oil palm production.
