This study examines the implementation of home care-based health service innovations at Dr. M. Thomsen Nias Regional General Hospital as an adaptive strategy to overcome limited access to services in island regions. The aim is to analyze the benefits, challenges, and strategies for strengthening the program, with a focus on human resource management aspects. The research method employs a descriptive qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentary studies involving relevant stakeholders. The results indicate that home care significantly improves accessibility for vulnerable groups, reduces geographical barriers, and enhances the quality of interaction between healthcare workers and patients. The program's success is influenced by visionary leadership, selective recruitment, continuous training, and sustained work motivation. However, challenges such as high workloads, logistical limitations, and suboptimal cross-unit coordination remain. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of institutional strengthening, the establishment of a dedicated home care unit, the use of information technology, and cross-sector collaboration based on local values to ensure the sustainability of the program and improve the health status of communities in remote areas. Furthermore, this study underscores the importance of continuously evaluating the performance of home care services through measurable indicators based on local needs. Routine monitoring and active community involvement as beneficiaries can increase accountability and encourage participation in maintaining service continuity. Strengthening an organizational culture that is adaptive and responsive to changes in the external environment is also key to anticipating the dynamic health needs of island communities. Thus, the home care approach is not merely a short-term solution but also part of the transformation of the health care system toward a more inclusive and socially just model.

The increase in customer complaints in e-commerce services requires an effective excellent service strategy to maintain customer trust and loyalty. This study aims to analyze the complaint handling strategy at PT. XYZ. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with in-depth interview techniques on four respondents who have different roles in customer service management. The results show that the most common complaints include product discrepancies, delivery delays, and slow refund processes. The main challenges include limitations in digital systems, interdepartmental coordination, and limited human resources. This study suggests optimizing customer service technology, strengthening internal coordination, and enhancing human resources to support 24/7 service and reinforce the company's image. Product discrepancies often arise from miscommunication between the sales and warehouse departments, leading to customers receiving products that do not match their expectations or the descriptions provided. Delivery delays are a common frustration, particularly during high-demand periods, affecting customer satisfaction and leading to negative reviews. Additionally, slow refund processes create frustration for customers, especially when dealing with returns or faulty products. These delays hinder the company's ability to provide excellent service and detract from the customer experience. One of the primary challenges identified in the study is the limitation in the digital systems used for customer service management. PT XYZ’s current system is not fully optimized to handle high volumes of complaints, leading to delays in responses and resolutions. Interdepartmental coordination is also a significant issue, as different departments such as logistics, sales, and customer service often operate in silos, making it difficult to resolve customer issues promptly.

Dyslipidemia is a lipid metabolism disorder characterized by an increase or decrease in blood plasma fat levels. This condition includes high levels of total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein (LDL), and triglycerides, as well as decreased levels of high-density lipoprotein (HDL). In general, dyslipidemia is divided into two types: primary, which is influenced by genetic factors, and secondary, which is caused by other diseases or an unhealthy lifestyle. Dyslipidemia is one of the major risk factors for cardiovascular disease, making its prevention and treatment very important. In this study, male white mice were used and induced with a high-fat diet to trigger dyslipidemia. The test animals were then divided into six groups: a negative control, a positive control (given simvastatin at a dose of 0.36 mL/day), and three treatment groups with microcapsules of Chinese betel leaf herb ethanol extract (EEHSC) at concentrations of 0.25%, 0.5%, and 0.75%. The treatment was administered orally for 14 days. Cholesterol levels were measured before and after treatment using a digital cholesterol tester and laboratory analysis to ensure more accurate results. The results showed a decrease in cholesterol levels with varying percentages in each group. The negative control decreased by 24.8%, the positive control by 36.1%, the 0.25% EEHSC by 24.1%, the 0.5% EEHSC by 34.7%, and the 0.75% EEHSC by 45.5%. This indicates that the 0.5% EEHSC treatment produced cholesterol reductions almost comparable to simvastatin. Interestingly, the highest effect was observed in the 0.75% group, indicating a dose-dependent response. In contrast, the 0.25% concentration only produced a less than optimal effect. Thus, microcapsules of ethanol extract of the Chinese betel leaf herb have potential as an alternative agent for lowering cholesterol levels, particularly in dyslipidemia. These findings suggest that natural-based therapies could complement conventional treatments in managing lipid disorders.

The main objective of this study is to analyze business innovation implemented by Coffee Shops in Coblong District, Bandung City, considering the increasing number of similar businesses emerging, triggering fierce competition in this industry. In facing these conditions, business actors are required to continue to innovate to be able to survive and excel in the competition. This study uses a descriptive analysis method with an approach to calculating the average value of each variable measured using a Likert scale. The study population consisted of 38 Coffee Shop entrepreneurs who served as research samples. Based on the analysis results, business innovation was measured through four main indicators, namely relative advantage, compatibility, dissemination, and communicability. In general, Coffee Shops in this area have succeeded in innovating well, although there are variations in achievement for each indicator. The indicator with the highest score is communicability, which refers to the ability of staff, especially baristas and cashiers, to interact with customers in a friendly, polite, and effective manner. This is not only limited to greeting but also creating a comfortable atmosphere so that customers feel appreciated, which ultimately increases customer loyalty. Conversely, the indicator with the lowest score is dissemination, which indicates that most customers tend to only order a specific type of coffee without exploring other menu variations. This condition can be seen as an opportunity to strengthen superior products, but also signals that the product diversification strategy is not running optimally. Therefore, it is important for coffee shop businesses in Coblong to develop a menu diversification strategy, both in terms of beverage types and service variations, so that the business remains competitive, relevant to diverse consumer preferences, and able to increase competitiveness amidst the increasingly rapid growth of the coffee shop industry.

The practice of surrogacy in Indonesia is growing despite the absence of clear legal regulations, creating uncertainty in the protection of surrogates, children, and those who use surrogacy services. Although several countries have regulations governing this practice, Indonesia still faces a legal vacuum that leaves many parties vulnerable to exploitation. This study aims to analyze aspects of legal protection, reproductive rights, children's interests, and women's dignity in the context of surrogacy in Indonesia, with the aim of formulating a more adaptive and equitable regulatory framework. The method used in this study is a normative juridical approach, with analysis using AMOS-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) of relevant legal documents and existing scientific literature. This research involves an analysis of existing regulations, cases related to surrogacy, and the opinions of legal experts and the public. The results show significant differences in legal protection between surrogates and children involved in surrogacy practices. Furthermore, there is uncertainty regarding the status of children born through surrogacy practices, which impacts their rights, particularly in terms of legal recognition and access to their human rights. This study also emphasizes that protecting women's reproductive rights and maintaining their dignity must be an integral part of surrogacy regulations. Clear and comprehensive regulations have been shown to improve protection for surrogates, children, and other related parties, as well as prevent potential exploitation. The implications of this study are the importance of establishing legislation specifically governing surrogacy practices in Indonesia, where such policies must focus on justice, child rights protection, and gender equality.

This study aims to identify and analyze the leadership style of the Cilampunghilir Village Head in implementing village governance. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants were selected purposively, including the village head, village secretary, village officials, hamlet heads, and relevant community leaders. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive model that included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the village head's leadership style tends to be democratic and participatory. The village head emphasizes collective decision-making by prioritizing consensus through deliberation and encouraging citizen involvement in every step of governance. In decision-making, the village head strives to involve the wider community so that policy outcomes are well-received. In terms of motivation, the village head actively provides encouragement, rewards, and builds reciprocal cooperation with village officials and residents. He recognizes the importance of appreciation and trust in order to build a cooperative work environment. Furthermore, in communication, the village head is known for being open, accessible, and willing to listen to the aspirations of villagers. In terms of controlling subordinates, the village head provides clear direction, delegates tasks according to competence, and enforces discipline to ensure the smooth implementation of village programs. This indicates a leadership style that balances authority with empowerment. However, the study also identified several weaknesses, including a lack of representation of marginalized groups, low frequency of outreach activities, and unequal access to information. Therefore, it is recommended that deliberation forums be strengthened with a more inclusive approach, diversified outreach methods through the use of digital channels, and increased transparency be implemented to optimize village governance.

This study aimed to determine the relationship between parental social support and career exploration with career decision-making among unemployed young adults. Early adulthood, particularly between the ages of 18 and 25, is a crucial developmental period as individuals are required to become independent, build their identity, and determine their career direction. During this phase, many individuals face challenges such as career uncertainty and unemployment, making parental social support and career exploration skills important factors that can influence the quality of career decision-making. The subjects were job seekers aged 18 and 25, categorized as young adults. The sampling technique used probability sampling. The research instrument consisted of three scales: the career decision-making scale (29 items; α = 0.903), the parental social support scale (15 items; α = 0.893), and the career exploration scale (13 items; α = 0.921). Data analysis was performed using the Pearson correlation test to test the hypothesis, and reliability was measured using the Spearman-Brown method. The results of this study indicate a significant positive relationship between parental social support and career exploration with career decision-making among unemployed young adults. This finding indicates that the higher the social support provided by parents and the more active individuals are in exploring their career options, the better their ability to make appropriate career decisions. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of parental involvement in supporting children during the transition to the workforce and emphasize the need for intervention programs that systematically encourage career exploration among unemployed young adults. This is expected to enable individuals to develop more mature career decision-making capacities and thus be able to face the challenges of job uncertainty in the modern era.

This research explores the legal protection of domestic doctors in Indonesia in response to the increasing utilization of foreign doctors (FDs) within the framework of knowledge transfer aimed at improving healthcare services. With the enactment of Law No. 17 of 2023 on Health, the Indonesian government provides space for foreign doctors to practice with simplified licensing procedures, raising legal concerns regarding legal certainty, professional equality, and the rights of patients to clear and honest communication. This study uses normative juridical methods with statutory and conceptual approaches to analyze the legal framework surrounding this issue. The findings show that the implementation of simplified requirements for foreign doctors potentially threatens the professional standing of local doctors and risks violating patient rights. Recommendations include strengthening legal instruments and monitoring mechanisms to ensure that knowledge transfer objectives are met without compromising legal protection and healthcare quality. The legal framework provided by Law No. 17 of 2023 allows foreign doctors to practice with more straightforward licensing processes, but it raises concerns regarding the adequacy of regulatory oversight. Local doctors fear that the simplified procedures for foreign doctors may not guarantee the same level of competency, accountability, and ethical standards. Furthermore, the presence of foreign doctors could lead to a disparity in professional treatment and recognition, undermining the integrity of the medical profession in Indonesia. This study explores how these legal issues intersect with the broader goals of patient protection, ensuring that all medical practitioners, regardless of nationality, adhere to the highest standards of care and ethical conduct. The role of patient rights in this context is critical, as patients must receive clear and honest communication about the qualifications of the doctors treating them, ensuring their right to informed consent is upheld.

This study examines the application of the ultra petita principle in decisions of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia, focusing on the case study of Decision Number 90/PUU-XXI/2023. The ultra petita principle is classically understood as a prohibition for judges to rule beyond what is explicitly requested by the parties to the case. However, in practice, the Constitutional Court often uses this principle flexibly to ensure substantive justice and the effective protection of citizens' constitutional rights. This shows how constitutional adjudication in Indonesia tends to prioritize substantive justice over procedural limitations. This thesis aims to analyze the legal basis used by the Constitutional Court when deciding ultra petita cases, while also examining the resulting legal implications for the administrative system of lawmaking in Indonesia. Using a normative legal approach, this study finds that the Constitutional Court positions itself as the sole interpreter of the constitution with progressive authority. In this sense, the Court's decisions may expand its role beyond the traditional boundaries of judicial authority. However, the Constitutional Court's ultra petita practice has the potential to raise concerns about judicial overreach. Ultra petita decisions not only resolve constitutional disputes but also have the potential to create new legal norms that can directly influence the legislative process and even change the structure of national law. Such outcomes raise the question of how to maintain a balance between judicial activism and legislative supremacy. Therefore, it is crucial to establish clear legal boundaries to ensure the Court remains within the constitutional framework, upholds the principle of checks and balances, and prevents conflicts of authority between branches of state power. Therefore, this research contributes to the academic understanding of the dynamics of the Constitutional Court's authority and the urgency of strengthening the rules of the game in maintaining harmony in the Indonesian state system.

Fibrosis, oxidative stress, inflammation, and immunity are tightly coupled processes leading to tissue damage and disease progression. Oxidative stress, triggered by reactive oxygen species (ROS), favors inflammation through the activation of pro-inflammatory cytokines as well as immune cells, especially macrophages. Chronic inflammation impedes the mechanisms of repair in tissues, resulting in an excess deposition of extracellular matrix (ECM) leading to fibrosis. Immune dysregulation mediated through T cells, B cells, as well as innate immunity also propels the fibrotic pathway. In contrast, fibrotic tissue reinforces oxidative stress and inflammation, forming a vicious cycle that sustains tissue injury and remodeling. Emerging evidence indicates that various molecular pathways are involved in this complex interplay. Key signaling cascades such as transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β), nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB), and mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) play significant roles in amplifying oxidative and inflammatory responses. Dysregulation of antioxidant defense systems, including superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase, and glutathione peroxidase, further aggravates oxidative stress and enhances tissue vulnerability. Moreover, metabolic alterations within immune cells contribute to the persistence of a pro-fibrotic environment. Activated macrophages, for instance, secrete profibrotic cytokines like interleukin-13 (IL-13) and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), while T helper 17 (Th17) cells promote chronic inflammation and tissue remodeling. This intricate cellular cross-talk highlights the importance of immune-metabolic regulation in fibrosis progression. Understanding these interconnected mechanisms offers promising therapeutic opportunities. Targeting oxidative stress with antioxidants, modulating immune responses with biologics, and inhibiting fibrogenic pathways using TGF-β or tyrosine kinase inhibitors are currently being explored in both preclinical and clinical settings. Such interventions hold potential for breaking the vicious cycle of oxidative stress, inflammation, and immunity, ultimately preventing irreversible organ damage and improving clinical outcomes in fibrotic diseases.

Film as a form of mass media has an important role in the socio-cultural, artistic, political, as well as scientific realms. Cek Toko Lado 2 is a continuation of the story of the Chinese family of Koh Afuk which is in the comedy genre and directed by Ernest Prakasa. This film not only presents entertainment, but also presents family dynamics, parental expectations, and challenges in maintaining family business while building trust between fellow family members. The stories presented are able to illustrate the social reality of urban communities who are often faced with a dilemma between family interests and individual freedom. The purpose of this research is to analyze the struggle of Erwin's character in fighting for his love for Natalie and his efforts to get the blessing of his future in-laws. The research method used is qualitative with the approach of Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic theory. The data source was obtained through direct observation of scenes and dialogues in the film, and reinforced by documentation and literature studies. The results of the study show that Erwin's struggle can be understood through three main elements in Peirce's semiotics, namely sign, object, and interpretant. First, the spirit of never giving up is reflected in Erwin's consistency in facing various obstacles. Second, the attitude of responsibility can be seen from Erwin's commitment to his career and the romantic relationship he is living. Third, the willingness to sacrifice is evident when Erwin prioritizes personal interests in order to gain the blessing of Natalie's family. In conclusion, this study emphasizes that films not only function as a means of entertainment, but also as a social learning medium that conveys moral messages about struggle, sacrifice, and the importance of trust in family relationships and romance. Thus, Cek Toko Lado 2 is able to be a relevant and inspiring social reflection for the audience, especially urban people who are facing the dynamics of family life and love.
