Located in Karangjati, Semarang Regency. The rapid development of the culinary industry has led to increasingly fierce competition. Customer satisfaction is crucial for business continuity. This study employs a quantitative method with an explanatory design. A total of 96 individuals were surveyed using simple random sampling.  The F-test, reliability test, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination, descriptive statistics, and t-test were used to analyse the data collected via a Likert scale questionnaire. The results show that taste and service quality have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Consistency in taste provides emotional satisfaction, while good service enhances the customer's dining experience. The coefficient of determination shows that these two factors explain more than 60% of the variation in customer satisfaction. These findings emphasise the importance for traditional restaurants to maintain the uniqueness and consistency of taste while improving service quality in order to build customer loyalty and maintain competitiveness.

Consumer criticism on social media is a common form of expression used to convey dissatisfaction with products or services. However, such criticism often generates controversy, especially when it is perceived to harm the reputation of a company. Although the right to freedom of expression is guaranteed by the Consumer Protection Law, in practice, this guarantee frequently conflicts with the defamation provisions outlined in the Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE) Law. The case of "Om Polos Banget" serves as a concrete example where consumer criticism led to legal charges due to allegations of defamation. This study aims to analyze the boundaries of consumer freedom of expression on social media within the context of Indonesian legal regulations and to identify the elements of defamation that may ensnare consumers. The research utilizes a normative juridical method, focusing on the analysis of relevant laws and regulations concerning freedom of expression and defamation. The results of the study indicate that while consumers have the right to criticize, there are legal boundaries that must be observed to prevent the criticism from resulting in legal action. Therefore, clearer policies are needed to ensure a fair balance between consumer freedom of expression and corporate reputation protection, as well as the importance of consumers maintaining ethical conduct when expressing criticism on social media.

The Heritage Center (BHP) is a government institution under the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia that has a strategic role in civil law, especially related to the management of heritage property. Rooted in colonial regulations and regulated in the Civil Code, BHP is authorized to represent and protect the legal interests of individuals whose whereabouts are unknown, immature, or legally incompetent. This study aims to analyze the implementation of BHP's duties in managing heritage assets based on the provisions of the Civil Code and identify supporting and inhibiting factors for its implementation. The method used is normative legal research with a legislative approach and literature study. The results of the study show that BHP's position is as a subject of public law that carries out private legal functions. BHP's authority includes the management of unmanaged legacies, acting as a guardian or guardian, and acting as a curator in bankruptcy cases. Despite having a strong legal basis, the effectiveness of the implementation of BHP's duties in the field has not been optimal. The obstacles faced include limited resources, lack of public understanding, and coordination between agencies that has not been maximized. Therefore, systematic improvement efforts are needed through institutional capacity building, legal socialization, and strengthening regulations and cross-sector synergy to support the effective and sustainable implementation of BHP's tasks.

Madrasah diniyyah and pesantren in the Indonesian context have often been viewed as non-formal or religious educational institutions, rather than as active legal subjects in national development. However, regulatory transformations and contextual challenges have prompted the need for legal recognition of these institutions in order to align them with the ideals of Pancasila. This study aims to analyze the role of madrasah diniyyah and pesantren. The methods used are normative and comparative qualitative research with a review of legislation and case studies of madrasah diniyyah/pesantren. The findings show that although regulations (e.g., the Pesantren Law) have provided legal recognition, there are still structural obstacles in the form of differences in institutional status, administrative capacity, and interpretative conflicts of values. On the other hand, several pesantren have successfully reconstructed themselves as actors of local development through community empowerment programs. In conclusion, legal recognition needs to be strengthened through the formulation of complementary regulations, institutional capacity building, and synergy between the government and pesantren communities so that these institutions can become pillars of national development based on Pancasila.

In modern soccer, lower-limb power is a crucial component that determines an athlete’s performance in sprinting, kicking, and jumping. This study aimed to compare the effects of Squat jump and Hexagon jump plyometric exercises on lower limb power in youth soccer athletes from Garuda Timur Football Academy Surabaya. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a pretest–posttest two group design involving 12 athletes aged 14–17 years. Participants were divided into two groups of six: a Hexagon jump group and a Squat jump group. Lower limb power was assessed using the vertical jump test before and after the training intervention. Data were analyzed using the Matched Subject Ordinal Pairing (MSOP) method to determine the relative effectiveness of both training types. The results indicated that both exercises significantly improved athletes’ vertical jump performance. However, the Hexagon jump exercise showed greater effectiveness, with a winning proportion of 67% (4 out of 6 pairs) compared to 33% for the Squat jump. The superior results of the Hexagon jump group were attributed to its multidirectional movement pattern, which provides greater stimulation of coordination, balance, and neuromuscular reactivity. Therefore, it can be concluded that Hexagon jump training is more effective than Squat jump in enhancing lower limb power among youth soccer athletes.

Selecting a faculty that aligns with students’ interests and talents is a strategic step in determining the success of higher education and future career paths. However, most vocational high school (SMK) students still face difficulties in identifying the most suitable faculty due to the lack of data-driven analysis. This study implements the C4.5 classification algorithm within data mining techniques to build an automatic and measurable faculty recommendation system. The dataset consists of attributes such as SMK major, interest level, aptitude test results, academic grade average, and gender, with the output being the recommended faculty. The C4.5 algorithm was chosen for its ability to generate a transparent and interpretable decision tree, which helps both guidance counselors and students understand the rationale behind the recommendations. The experimental results show that the constructed classification model achieved an accuracy rate of 88%, based on cross-validation testing using data from 12th-grade students. The implementation of this system is expected to serve as an objective tool in the faculty selection process and to promote a data-driven decision-making approach in secondary education environments.

The role of economics in human life has become increasingly significant in the modern era as it serves as a foundation for meeting daily needs and achieving collective welfare. This study aims to analyze how Islamic economic principles regulate price determination in markets and income distribution to ensure fairness and social balance. The research adopts a qualitative approach through library research by reviewing classical Islamic literature, modern economic works, and Qur’anic interpretations related to economic justice. The findings show that Islam emphasizes justice, equality, and welfare as the foundation of all economic activity. Price setting in Islam must reflect fairness, avoiding exploitation and ensuring that transactions bring mutual benefit to both sellers and buyers. Meanwhile, income distribution is directed toward social equity through the implementation of zakat, infaq, and shadaqah, which serve as instruments for wealth redistribution and poverty alleviation. The implication of this study is that the application of Islamic economic principles can provide a moral and sustainable alternative to conventional capitalist systems by promoting fairness, social responsibility, and economic stability within society.

Education in remote areas continues to face various problems that affect the quality and equity of learning outcomes. The lack of adequate facilities and infrastructure, the shortage of competent teachers, and limited access to learning resources are the main obstacles to implementing effective education in these regions. In addition, the national curriculum, which is uniform in nature, is often less relevant to the needs, potential, and local context of the community. This study aims to analyze educational problems in remote areas and their relevance to adaptive and contextual curriculum design. Using a literature review approach, the study shows that a curriculum aligned with local conditions can improve students’ learning motivation, develop regional potential, and strengthen life skills. Therefore, collaborative efforts among the government, educators, and the community are needed to design a curriculum that can effectively address educational challenges in remote areas in a sustainable manner.

Nutritional problems among preschool children remain a global and national concern. WHO (2017) reported that approximately 54% of child mortality under five is caused by malnutrition, while in Indonesia the prevalence of picky eaters reaches 20%, with West Java recording as high as 41.9%. The 2018 Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) data showed that the national stunting rate was still high at 30.8%, far from the national target of 19% in 2024. This study aimed to examine the relationship between picky eating behavior and physical activity with the nutritional status of preschool children at PAUD Kiddy Kid Center Banda Aceh. This was an analytical study with a cross-sectional design. The population included all 42 preschool children at the institution, selected through total sampling. Data analysis was carried out using univariate and bivariate (Chi-Square test) analyses. The results showed a significant relationship between picky eating behavior and nutritional status (p = 0.001), as well as between physical activity and nutritional status (p = 0.001). Conclusion: There is a significant association between picky eating behavior, physical activity, and the nutritional status of preschool children. It is recommended that schools and parents collaborate in promoting healthy eating patterns and encouraging physical activity from an early age.

Adolescence is a transitional period marked by rapid physical, psychological, and social changes. During this time, hormonal growth occurs as a sign of puberty and the activation of reproductive organs, one of which is breast development. However, these changes can sometimes lead to breast abnormalities such as lumps, pain, or changes in shape that may indicate early signs of health problems. One of the most effective early detection efforts for breast abnormalities is Breast Self-Examination (BSE). This examination is important to be done regularly so that each individual, especially adolescent girls, can recognize the condition of their breasts early on. Unfortunately, many adolescent girls still do not know what BSE is or how to perform it correctly. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and breast self-examination (BSE) behavior among female students at SMA Negeri 1 Krueng Barona Jaya, Aceh Besar District. This research was a quantitative study using an analytic cross-sectional design. Data collection was carried out on May 27, 2025, with a population of 30 female students from grades X and XI, selected using accidental sampling techniques. Data analysis using the Chi-Square test showed that there was no relationship between knowledge level and BSE behavior, with a p-value of 0.384 (p > 0.05). It is expected that parents and schools can improve adolescent girls’ knowledge about BSE as an effort for prevention and early detection of possible breast abnormalities.

This study examines the complex issue of citizenship in interfaith marriages within Indonesia’s legal and human rights framework. The problem arises from the absence of explicit provisions in national law regarding the civil registration and citizenship consequences of marriages between individuals of different religions. This legal ambiguity often results in unequal recognition, difficulties in registering children’s citizenship, and broader implications for the right to identity. The research aims to analyze how Indonesian marriage law, administrative population law, and judicial interpretations interact with international and constitutional human rights principles. Using a normative juridical method combined with case study analysis and doctrinal review, this study identifies legal inconsistencies between national regulations and the principle of non-discrimination guaranteed under human rights law. The findings indicate that judicial practices, such as post-SEMA No. 2 of 2023 rulings, show a gradual shift toward balancing legal certainty with human rights protection, although disparities persist across jurisdictions. The study concludes that reform is required to clarify the status of interfaith marriages and to protect the citizenship rights of all parties involved, including children. It recommends that legislators harmonize marriage and citizenship laws with constitutional mandates and human rights instruments to ensure equality before the law, legal certainty, and respect for individual freedoms.
