This study aims to improve students' understanding of figurative language material through the application of the Bus Stop cooperative learning model combined with the Frayer Diagram media. The subjects of the study were sixth-grade students of Muhammadiyah 1 Bontang Elementary School. The method used was descriptive qualitative with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of the study showed that the Bus Stop strategy encouraged active interaction between students, allowing them to discuss and provide feedback to each other. Meanwhile, the Frayer Diagram helped students map the concept of figurative language visually and systematically, thus facilitating their understanding of the four types of figurative language taught, namely personification, metaphor, hyperbole, and simile. The combination of these two methods proved effective, with 90% of students showing an increase in their ability to identify and construct figurative sentences. Based on these results, the study recommends the use of cooperative strategies combined with visual media as a more meaningful and enjoyable approach to learning Indonesian, and able to increase student engagement and understanding of figurative language material.

The first 1000 days are often referred to as the window of opportunities or the golden period, based on the fact that from the fetal stage to the age of two years, there is a period of rapid growth and development that does not occur in other age groups. Meeting nutritional needs during the first 1000 days of a child's life is very important. This study analyzes the relationship between food taboos and LILA in pregnant women with the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 1-24 months in the working area of the Biromaru Community Health Center in Sigi Regency. The research design used was a case-control study. The independent variables in this study were food taboos and maternal weight during pregnancy. The dependent variable was stunting in children aged 1-24 months. The population in this study consisted of all mothers who had children with stunting, totaling 32 people. The results of the study show that of the 16 stunted respondents, 11 (34.4%) respondents had food taboos and 5 (15.6%) respondents did not have food taboos. Then, out of 16 non-stunted respondents, 4 (12.5%) respondents had food taboos and 12 (37.5%) respondents did not have food taboos. Meanwhile, out of 16 stunted respondents, 10 (31.3%) respondents had KEK and 6 (18.76%) respondents did not have KEK. Then, of the 16 respondents who were not stunted, 3 (9.4%) respondents had KEK and 13 (40.6%) respondents did not have KEK. There is a relationship between food taboos and the incidence of stunting in children aged 1-24 months (p = 0.001), as well as a relationship between maternal height during pregnancy and the incidence of stunting in children aged 1-24 months (p = 0.01). It is hoped that the Biromaru Community Health Center will increase routine visits and provide education and counseling for mothers and infants.

Maritime safety is a crucial aspect of the maritime industry, particularly in Indonesia as an archipelagic country. Although regulations regarding maritime safety are well-established, the frequency of maritime transport accidents in Indonesia remains high (KNKT, 2019–2023). This study aims to analyze and test the partial and simultaneous effects of the Port Authority’s Role (X1), Vessel Seaworthiness (X2), and International Safety Management (ISM) Code (X3) on Maritime Safety (Y) at Ketapang Port. The research method used is explanatory quantitative with multiple linear regression analysis. The sample involved 75 respondents, including ship crew members and Port Authority officers, selected using Simple Random Sampling. The analysis results indicate that the three independent variables have a positive and significant impact on Maritime Safety. The regression model shows an adjusted R Square value of 0.610. Among the three variables, the ISM Code (B = 0.410) is the most dominant factor, followed by the Port Authority’s Role (B = 0.389), and Vessel Seaworthiness (B = 0.186). These findings highlight that structured internal safety management (ISM Code) has the highest leverage, supported by strong regulatory oversight.

Low nutritional awareness and high consumption of unhealthy snacks remain critical issues among elementary school children, potentially affecting their growth and academic performance. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a nutrition education intervention using poster media and paper-based quizzes in improving nutritional awareness among fourth to sixth grade students. The community service activity was conducted by Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) students as part of the Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) program in three elementary schools SD Negeri 1, 2, and 3 Kalirancang, Kebumen Regency. A descriptive-evaluative approach was employed through participatory engagement using simple, low-tech educational media to address technological limitations in the school environment. Data were collected from quiz score analyses and participatory observations during the intervention. The results showed a high participation rate (80–90%) and a substantial improvement in students’ cognitive understanding of nutrition, as indicated by the majority of correct quiz responses. However, behavioral observation revealed a noticeable gap between knowledge and practice, as many students continued to consume unhealthy snacks during school breaks. It can be concluded that poster and quiz-based interventions are effective in enhancing students’ nutritional knowledge but are insufficient to alter behavior without supportive environmental and policy interventions at the school level.

This study explores the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI), agriculture, and decolonial philosophy, emphasizing the role of local knowledge as the foundation for sustainable agricultural technology in Indonesia. The research investigates how AI can be developed not as a tool of technological domination but as a dialogical partner that recognizes the epistemic value of indigenous wisdom. Using a mixed-method approach, the study combines algorithmic experiments applying lightweight Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) with Explainable AI (XAI) methods such as SHAP and LIME with participatory interviews involving farmers in Bima District. Empirical findings show that models integrated with localized visualization and community-based interpretability improved user trust by 84% and reduced computational energy by 28% without compromising accuracy. More importantly, the interaction between AI and farmers revealed a form of epistemic integration where algorithmic logic aligns with traditional indicators, such as soil texture, humidity, and seasonal signs known to local farmers. Philosophically, this research asserts that sustainable AI should emerge from ecological and cultural contexts rather than imposing external frameworks. In the decolonial sense, it positions local farmers not as passive users but as active epistemic agents shaping the meaning of technology. Thus, AI becomes not only a technical instrument but a site of ethical and epistemic liberation that reaffirms human responsibility toward knowledge, culture, and the earth.

Epistemology is a branch of philosophy that focuses on the nature, sources, methods, and limits of human knowledge. This article aims to examine the concept of epistemology within the context of the philosophy of science, its scope, and its relevance to the development of modern scientific thought. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a literature review method thatdraws upon both classical and contemporary sources in the field of the philosophy of science. The findings indicate that epistemology encompasses four main domains: the sources of knowledge, the methods of acquiring knowledge, the validity and truth of knowledge, and the limits of human understanding. In the modern context, epistemology faces new challenges such as technological advancement, scientific interdisciplinarity, and the relationship between local and global knowledge systems. The practical implications of epistemology are also evident in education through constructivism, inquiry-based learning, and epistemological literacy. Therefore, a sound understanding of epistemology serves as a crucial foundation for developing an educational and scientific system that is critical, reflective, and contextually relevant.

This study offers an in-depth comparative assessment of land registration systems in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Netherlands, and Australia, acknowledging that variations in historical evolution, legal infrastructures, and administrative mechanisms have shaped each country’s approach to land governance. These foundational distinctions play a crucial role in determining how effectively each nation provides legal certainty, secures land ownership rights, and administers land records with accuracy and efficiency. The analysis explores how differing registration models—ranging from deeds-based to title-based systems—impact levels of transparency, reliability, and public trust in land management institutions. Furthermore, the study identifies the strengths, limitations, and operational challenges within each framework, demonstrating that no single system is universally superior. Instead, the effectiveness of land registration practices depends on how well they align with the socio-legal context, institutional capacity, and administrative heritage of each region. The findings emphasize the importance of context-specific policy formulation, suggesting that land administration reforms should not merely replicate foreign models but must be adapted to local legal traditions and governance needs. Overall, this research underscores the necessity of designing land registration systems that enhance legal protection, promote efficient land administration, and strengthen the long-term security of landowners’ rights across diverse jurisdictions.
