Indonesia is an archipelagic country that has abundant mineral wealth, both metal minerals and other minerals. Metal minerals, including gold, tend to have a higher economic value. Based on data from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the world's gold reserves in 2020 were 50,300 tons of Au. Indonesia is among the 5 largest in the world with 5% of the total gold reserves, which is 2,600 tons of Au. Therefore, it is necessary to develop technology and science in the mining industry, especially gold and silver, to improve the optimization of the process and increase the added value of the mining products themselves. One of the gold extraction processes can be done hydrometallurgically with the cyanidation method using a intensive leach test. The results of this experiment show that factors such as cyanide usage and ultra fine particle size will greatly affect the recovery of gold and silver metals.

Pakistan is a developing country. Its transportation infrastructure mainly consists of road network. About 95% passengers and fright is transported using the road network. This high demand on road network is because of the unreliable railway system between the cities. Due to such high demand on road network the accident involvement risk of an individual is much high as compared to developed countries. This study uses a new modeling approach to estimate road safety risk for WTP.  A correlated random parameters Tobit model (heterogeneity-in-mean) is integrated with machine learning (Decision tree).  The decision tree categorizes higher-order interactions, while the model captures unobserved correlations and heterogeneity. The framework examines WTP determinants using a representative sample of 3178 road users from Pakistan. The model estimates WTP for different (fatal and severe injury) risk reductions to monetize road traffic crash costs. Results show maximum respondents are willing to support safety improvement policies. The model reveals significant WTP heterogeneity linked to perceptions of road safety and accident risk. Systematic preference heterogeneity emerges through higher-order interactions, offering insights into WTP relationships. Marginal effects highlight varying sensitivities to explanatory variables, quantifying their impact on WTP probability and magnitude. The framework provides two key contributions. It identifies public WTP determinants, emphasizing heterogeneous effects. It also helps in prioritization safety policies by understanding public sensitivity to WTP. The insights further emphasizing on the importance of road safety interventions to the specific socio-economic profiles of road users. This study offers a significant contribution to road safety improvement by providing valuable recommendations for policy makers. By integrating detailed socio-economic factors, it also addresses the urgent need for targeted traffic safety interventions in Pakistan. These findings are expected to aid policymakers and stakeholders in developing effective strategies to enhance road safety and reduce the accident involvement risk effectively.

Cyanobacteria play an important role in the evolution of the earth and biosphere. Cyanobacteria play a role in the oxygenation of the atmosphere and oceans that began since the great oxidation event. These living things are the main producers in the ocean in the past and present and are the ancestors of Chloroplasts. The morphology commonly used is still difficult to read for microfossil interpretation which makes the identification of cyanobacteria in the early fossil record still ambiguous. This study was conducted to review classical and new cyanobacterial biosignatures. In addition, this study will also analyze the fossil record of cyanobacteria mentioned earlier and the challenges of molecular approaches to modern cyanobacteria. The suggestions we provide are new calibration points for molecular clocks and strategies to increase insight into the timing and patterns of cyanobacteria evolution and oxygenic photosynthesis.

POME is liquid wastewater derived from processing of palm fruit. POME contains nitrogen, phosphate, potassium, magnesium and calcium compounds, that can be used as a good fertilizer for plantations. However, before application, POME must be processed because direct use of unprocessed POME can damage the environment. PT XYZ utilizes POME as raw material for biogas through an anaerobic fermentation process to produce alternative energy for electricity generation, however, biogas production at PT XYZ  produces CH4 levels that do not meet the desired standard, namely 60%, while the value obtained is still 57%, so it can occure an incomplete combustion process in the engine. Therefore, research was carried out to analyze the influence of POME's Chemical Oygen Demand (COD) and the pH of POME as biogas raw material on the CH4 produced. Meanwhile, based on measurements of POME pH, fluctuations are caused by environmental conditions, therefore before the feed enters the biodigester, the first treatment is increasing pH until 6-7 to adjust the optimal conditions for bacteria working to break down organic substances.  The results shows that the estimated potential for a Biogas Power Plant (PLTBg) with a production capacity of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) of 60 tons/hour, the high generating capacity is influenced by the large COD value, meaning that the COD value greatly influences the CH4 produced, but must also be in accordance with Other factors that influence CH4 production such as pH, temperature, stirring and others.

Biogas is a mixture of gases formed from the decomposition of organic materials with the help of bacteria through an anaerobic fermentation process (airtight) to produce biogas in the form of methane gas (CH4) that can be managed. In biogas production, pH is one of the factors that affects the production process where an inappropriate pH will cause the performance of microorganisms in degrading organic matter into biogas to be less than optimal. This can be seen from the COD reduction produced, namely COD reduction will increase when operating conditions are at optimal pH, for this reason, conditioning the operating process according to the optimum pH is needed. So that in order to maximize the production of biogas produced, research was conducted to determine the optimum pH in the biogas production process carried out at PT AMP Plantation. In this study, biogas production data was collected so that the optimum pH in the production process carried out was known. From the research that has been carried out, the optimum pH for the biogas production process is 7, which produces the highest COD reduction of 91.78%.
