This paper applies the Gamma Regression Model to determine the probability of newborns in the Diyala Province developing neonatal jaundice, or hyperbilirubinemia. This disease is prevalent, and it may be severe due to the large amount of unconjugated bilirubin in the blood. The aim of the study was to test the relationship between the levels of bilirubin and a set of independent variables, including the weight of birth, gestational age, and the proportion of red blood cells (PVC). 67 worth of data regarding neonatal cases was collected, and the outcome was that the model fitted well. The findings further indicated that whereas the influence of PVC was significant and positive on the bilirubin level, lower gestational age and less weight at birth had significant negative influence. As the results of the study indicate, the Gamma Regression Model is an effective tool to assess medical data and predict critical scenarios, which assists a clinician with the timely and accurate decision-making.

The Sea Certificate (Surat Laut/SL) is a crucial maritime legal document, serving as proof of a ship's nationality and its seaworthiness status for sailing, making it a mandatory requirement in every clearance in and clearance out process. This research aims to comprehensively identify and analyze the procedure for the endorsement (validation) extension of the Sea Certificate for the MV. Eastern Fair, carried out by PT. Multi Jaya Samudera as the ship agent in Belawan. The research method utilized is field research, conducted through land practice (PRADA), interviews, and documentation study. The findings indicate that the endorsement extension procedure is executed through a strict series of stages, starting from the preparation of the ship's technical documents to the official submission to relevant agencies such as the Harbor Master (Syahbandar) and the Transportation Agency Office. The ship agent plays a vital role as the liaison and executor, responsible for ensuring the completeness and validity of all administrative requirements within the specified timeframe. Although the procedure is standardized, common constraints include delays from related parties, both in physical inspection and administrative completion at government institutions, which can potentially disrupt the vessel’s sailing schedule. This study concludes that rigorous supervision and effective coordination among the agent, ship owner, and port authorities are key to maintaining regulatory compliance and the operational smooth running of the MV. Eastern Fair.

Development financing systems in various developing countries, including Indonesia, have been tested by repeated global crises, such as the 2008 financial crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic, and geopolitical tensions since 2020. The economy is highly dependent on external funding, such as foreign loans and foreign direct investment (FDI), making it vulnerable to disruptions and uncertainty in capital flows. This article examines the strategic role of domestic savings as a stabilizer in maintaining the resilience of development financing using a desk study approach. The literature review shows that mobilizing domestic savings through conventional and Islamic financial institutions is crucial for encouraging long-term investment, reducing dependence on external financing, and strengthening national fiscal independence. In the Islamic economy, the rise of yield-based savings instruments, productive waqf, and retail sukuk has helped expand a stable and equitable domestic funding base. Furthermore, this article finds that digital transformation, fiscal incentive policies, and financial literacy are key to increasing public participation in productive savings. Therefore, increasing domestic savings is an economic tool and a national defense strategy in facing ongoing global crises.

This material provides an in-depth overview of the fundamental distinctions between Islamic banks and conventional banks, covering their underlying principles, contract types, operational mechanisms, legal frameworks, and organizational structures. Islamic banks operate based on Islamic values derived from the Qur’an, Hadith, and the rulings of the National Sharia Council (DSN-MUI), emphasizing strict prohibitions on riba, gharar, and maysir. Contracts such as wadiah, mudharabah, musyarakah, murabahah, ijarah, salam, and istishna’ are applied to promote fairness and profit-sharing. In contrast, conventional banks rely on positive law and interest-based systems as their primary source of income. Legally, Islamic banks are supervised by the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) to ensure compliance with sharia principles, while conventional banks adhere solely to general financial regulations set by authorities like the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and Bank Indonesia. The operations of Islamic banks include fund mobilization, financing, and financial services without the use of interest, whereas conventional banks earn revenue from the interest spread between deposits and loans. Although both bank types share a similar organizational structure, Islamic banks incorporate an additional layer of sharia oversight. Overall, Islamic banks aim to balance profitability with ethical and spiritual values (falah), while conventional banks primarily focus on maximizing financial returns. This material highlights Islamic banking as an ethical alternative within modern financial practices, promoting justice, sustainability, and broader economic well-being.

This study examines in depth the concepts of maysir, gharar, and riba as three practices that are prohibited in sharia economics because they are considered to cause injustice and imbalance in economic activities. Through an analysis of the postulates of the Qur'an and Hadith, this study confirms that the prohibition of maysir is based on the element of excessive speculation that harms one of the parties, gharar is rejected because it contains ambiguity in the object and contract, while riba is prohibited because it creates an unequal addition in financial transactions. In addition, the study highlights how other religions and various modern economic systems have paid attention to the principles that are in line with the prohibition of these three concepts, especially related to business ethics, social justice, and economic risk mitigation. A cross-faith perspective shows that universal values such as honesty, transparency, and balance are essential foundations for building a sustainable economic order. By combining normative perspectives and cross-tradition comparisons, this study seeks to provide a comprehensive understanding of the dangers of maysir, gharar, and usury, as well as the implications of the implementation of their prohibition in modern economic life. The results of the study are expected to be a reference in formulating economic practices that are fair, stable, and able to be widely applied in various communities.

Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) are religious institutions focused on education, the dissemination of Islamic knowledge, and the propagation of Islamic propagation, as well as serving as centers for the development of religious thinkers. Furthermore, pesantren also serve as platforms for human resource development and empowerment for alumni, families, and the wider community. This research aims to collect data to uncover fundamental issues arising from phenomena, realities, and experiences, thereby providing a diverse range of knowledge regarding the life and practice of pesantren-based economic empowerment. Economic empowerment is understood as both a process and a goal. As a process, economic empowerment encompasses a series of efforts to improve the economic capabilities and strengths of vulnerable communities to improve their quality of life. As a goal, economic empowerment represents the desired condition or outcome and serves as a measure of the success of the process. To realize an empowered people's economy, three main elements are required: production potential, distribution potential, and consumption potential. These three elements constitute concrete and applicable steps for effectively implementing community economic empowerment. By considering these three potentials, empowerment can be implemented in a focused and sustainable manner. Pesantren, in their historical and cultural dynamics, play a vital role in the life of the nation. Therefore, Islamic boarding schools have the capacity, both in quality and quantity, to contribute and play a significant role in efforts to empower the community's economy.

Management of household waste in Final Disposal Sites (TPA) faces a serious problem, where most of the waste accumulates and is difficult to decompose due to its complex nature. This condition substantially inhibits natural decomposition processes and limits the effectiveness of recycling efforts. Pre-processing operations, such as sorting and crushing, which are still dominated by manual methods, are proven to be inefficient, high-risk, and require large allocations of land resources and manpower. Therefore, automated technological innovation is needed to facilitate the efficient separation of organic components from inorganic materials (packaging). This research was conducted to determine the design and structural strength analysis of a hammer mill type depackaging machine, carried out using Solidworks software. Structural analysis simulation utilizes Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to determine the structural strength of the machine. The specifications of the hammer mill type depackaging machine include a capacity of 3000 kg/hour, a hammer mill input power of 12 KW, and a rotational speed of 2500 rpm with a torque of 34.54 Nm. Meanwhile, the screw conveyor input power is 0.75 KW and the rotational speed is 20 rpm. The FEA simulation analysis results for the hammer mill type depackaging machine showed that the maximum Von Mises stress value recorded is 3,022×10^7   N⁄m^2 , the maximum displacement value measured is very minimal, namely 2,793×10^(-1)  mm, and the Factor of Safety (FOS) obtained is 8.3. This FOS value significantly exceeds the required minimum safety limit (>3), confirming that the machine design has optimal reliability, fatigue resistance, and structural integrity for operation under intensive working conditions at the TPA. The conclusion of this study indicates that the engineering design of this hammer mill type depackaging machine is safe and meets structural technical requirements to proceed to the implementation phase, potentially becoming a sustainable technological solution in improving the efficiency of waste pre-processing.

This study explores the transformation of traditional worship values within the Klon tribe community in Alor, East Nusa Tenggara. Prior to their conversion to Christianity, the community practiced a religious system centered on mesbah (stone altars) where they worshiped ancestral spirits and local deities. The introduction of Christianity through inculturation led to a significant shift in worship practices, transitioning from rituals at the mesbah to those at the church pulpit. However, rather than losing their spiritual and communal values, these traditions adapted and were integrated into Christian practices. The study highlights how elements of local wisdom were preserved and transformed, creating a bridge between indigenous beliefs and Christian teachings. This transformation demonstrates that the core values of worship such as reverence for ancestors and community solidarity continued to play a role in the newly adopted Christian practices. The findings of this study emphasize the importance of understanding such cultural transformations, especially in the context of Christian Religious Education. It suggests that contextualizing religious teachings within local traditions and wisdom can foster a deeper, more meaningful connection to faith for communities undergoing cultural change. By valuing these local traditions, Christian Religious Education can become more relevant and impactful, encouraging a harmonious blending of old and new beliefs.
