Fishing activities of crab (Portunus pelagicus) on the white sand beach are mostly carried out by traditional fishermen using various equipment. Bubu is the recommended fishing gear for catching crab. This fishing gear is a trap and is passive and is classified as a trap type of fishing gear. One of the determining factors that increases the catch of crab (Portunus pelagicus) is bait. This study aims to determine the effect of using different types of bait and determine the most effective choice of bait in catching crabs that live on the White Sand Beach, Karawang. The method used in this study is the Experimental Method with a Randomized Block Design (RAK). The types of bait used are petek fish, puffer fish and chicken liver. Data analysis used the One-way ANOVA test and continued with the BNT Test. The number of catches obtained during the study was 66 crab (Portunus pelagicus) consisting of salted petek bait (28), salted puffer fish bait (23) and chicken liver bait (15). Based on the analysis of the results of the One-way ANOVA test, a significant value for the type of bait was obtained of 0.000 with a significant value <0.05, so it can be concluded that different types of bait have an effect on the catch of crab (Portunus pelagicus).

Tuna fish (Thunnus albacares) is a fish that has a fairly high economic value and is the dominant catch landed at PPS Nizam Zachman which comes from the WPPNRI 573. Based on the high production results and fishing activities, it is necessary to analyze the utilization level that has been carried out by PPS Nizam Zachman in the WPPNRI 573 for the sustainability of tuna fish (Thunnus albacares). This study aims to determine the CPUE (Catch per Unit Effort), sustainable potential (MSY), utilization level and effort level of tuna fish (Thunnus albacares) landed at PPS Nizam Zachman. This study was conducted on 18 until 30 November 2024. The method used in this study is the Schaefer surplus production method approach. Tuna (Thunnus albacares) were caught using handline fishing gear, purse seines, and tuna longlines. The standard used as the FPI (Fishing Power Index) is the highest CPUE value, namely purse seines. Based on the analysis using the Schaefer model, the intercept value (a) shows 30.864 and the slope (b) is -16.458. The intercept value shows that if there is no fishing effort, the potential for tuna (Thunnus albacares) in WPPNRI 573 available in nature is still 30.864 tons/trip. The MSY catch was 14,469,702 tons, the optimum effort was 938 trips, and the allowable catch was 11,575,762 tons with an average utilization rate of tuna (Thunnus albacares) in WPPNRI 573 landed at PPS Nizam Zachman of 92% with an average effort rate of 106%. This shows that the utilization rate of tuna (Thunnus albacares) in WPPNRI 573 landed at PPS Nizam Zachman is in a dense catch condition.

The creation of batik outerwear combines three techniques: hand-drawn batik (batik tulis), shibori, and ecoprint, to produce designs that are both functional and aesthetically rich, while promoting local cultural identity. The process follows the Art Creation Methodology, consisting of four stages: exploration, experimentation, realization, and evaluation. In the exploration phase, the techniques used are studied, and how their combination can create unique motifs. This phase also includes an in-depth understanding of the history and philosophy of each technique, ensuring a strong foundation for their application in the design of the outerwear. In the experimentation phase, various patterns, colors, and compositions are tested to determine the best combination of the three techniques. This stage involves creating several design samples to test the harmony between hand-drawn batik, the visually appealing folds of shibori, and the natural impressions left by ecoprint leaves. Then, in the realization stage, the batik outerwear is completed by integrating these elements into a cohesive design. The techniques of batik tulis, shibori, and ecoprint work together to create rich textures and motifs. In the evaluation phase, the aesthetic and functional quality of the final product is assessed. The final result demonstrates that combining these techniques not only creates unique designs but also adds value in terms of beauty and sustainability, while supporting the preservation of local culture through innovation in batik art.

This research evaluates the effectiveness of school-based mental resilience programs for children in conflict zones of the Middle East based on the results of 47 studies (N=12,873 students) published between 2010 and 2023. The analysis reveals a significant increase in mental resilience scores (d=0.76, 95% CI [0.68, 0.84], p<.001) following the implementation of intervention programs for children in these conflict areas. Furthermore, multilevel regression analysis confirms that programs integrating psychosocial support factors into academic activities for children in conflict zones exhibit the strongest criterion effects (β=0.62, p<.001), followed by trauma-based interventions (β=0.58, p<.001) and coping skills training (β=0.51, p<.001). Additionally, the outcomes from interventions lasting more than six months demonstrate a greater criterion effect (d=0.82) than short-term programs (d=0.65). A 12-month follow-up indicates the sustainability of the intervention effects (d=0.69). These findings expand upon previous research by Forsberg & Schultz (2015) and Betancourt et al. (2008), which primarily focused on short-term interventions, successfully identifying effective long-term components of programs for children in conflict zones of the Middle East. Moreover, in contrast to the study by Gomez et al. (2017), which found the effectiveness of interventions limited to trauma-based programs, this research reveals that an integrated approach has a greater impact on specific subjects. Ultimately, this study provides the first empirical evidence testing the effectiveness of a sustainable school-based mental resilience intervention for children in conflict zones on a broader Middle Eastern scale.
