The low level of student learning activity is often found in school learning activities, which has an impact on poor learning outcomes. This study aims to examine the significant comparison of learning activities and physics learning outcomes of vocational high school students using the cooperative learning models STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) and TGT (Teams Games Tournament), as well as to describe student responses after the implementation of both models on the topic of energy and its changes. This research is a true experimental study with a posttest-only control group design. The population in this study consisted of 186 students, and the sample was determined using a cluster random sampling technique. Data collection methods included observation, tests, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The classical assumption test used was the normality test, followed by statistical analyses using the Independent Sample T-test and the Mann-Whitney U-test. The results of the analysis of student learning activity data using the Independent Sample T-test showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.699 > 0.05, while the analysis of learning outcome data using the Mann-Whitney U-test showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.806 > 0.05. These results indicate that there is no significant difference between the two learning models in terms of their effect on student learning activities and physics learning outcomes. In addition, the analysis of student responses showed that the implementation of the STAD and TGT models received a very good response. Thus, it can be concluded that while there is no significant difference between the two models, both are effective in generating student interest and positive engagement in learning physics.

This article explores the nature of the philosophy of Islamic education and its integration with the philosophy of mathematics in the learning process. The philosophy of Islamic education is rooted in the Qur’an and As-Sunnah and is further reinforced by the thoughts of Muslim philosophers. It encompasses three main aspects: ontology (the nature of existence), epistemology (the sources and methods of acquiring knowledge), and axiology (values and purposes). Islamic education aims not only to shape individual character but also to build a holistic educational system based on Islamic values. In this context, education is not merely a process of knowledge transfer but a means of fostering moral and spiritual development in learners. On the other hand, the philosophy of mathematics from the perspective of Islamic education emphasizes that mathematics is not solely an exact science of arithmetic, but also a discipline closely related to ethical and moral values in Islam. Mathematics is viewed as part of the divine order of Allah’s creation, reflecting His greatness. Therefore, the integration of Islamic educational philosophy and mathematical philosophy in learning offers a deeper approach to mathematical concepts. This approach not only enhances students’ cognitive understanding of the material but also instills spiritual awareness and values of faith and piety. By combining scientific and religious aspects, the learning process becomes more systematic, meaningful, and aligned with the comprehensive goals of Islamic education.

This research is motivated by the problem of communication in economic transactions in the Aru Islands District, which is recruited by a multi-ethnic community with a variety of regional languages. Although Indonesian has great potential as a national communication tool, its use in local economic activities is still limited, thus hampering the smooth interaction between traders and buyers. This communication inefficiency has an impact on the negotiation process and local economic competitiveness. This study aims to instill the role of Indonesian in facilitating economic transactions, identify barriers to use, and develop strategies to improve Indonesian language skills in the community. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document studies, with informants selected using purposive sampling techniques to obtain data relevant to the local economic context. Expected results include an understanding of the contribution of Indonesian in increasing the effectiveness of transactions, revealing communication challenges, and strategies for improving contextual and applicable language literacy. These findings can provide practical contributions to local governments, educational institutions, and business actors in developing language training programs that support economic activities. From a theoretical perspective, this research enriches the study of the relationship between language and economic development, especially in multilingual areas such as the Aru Islands.

Minimally invasive surgery offers several advantages, including reduced blood loss, smaller incisions, less pain, and a lower risk of complications than open surgery. This approach enhances patient comfort and supports faster recovery. When guided by optimal path planning, surgical robots can accurately navigate the body to remove malignant tumors with high precision. This study proposes a Modified Particle Swarm Optimization (MPSO) algorithm to determine the optimal path for robotic-assisted minimally invasive surgery targeting brain tumors. The algorithm improves upon standard PSO by modifying the velocity update equation and incorporating an adaptive inertia weight, enhancing convergence speed, global search ability, and solution accuracy. Experimental results show that the proposed MPSO achieves a maximum fitness value of 19.10 in a sparse obstacle environment, outperforming standard PSO and IPSO in quality and in the required number of iterations. The approach effectively balances path efficiency and obstacle avoidance, making it well-suited for complex surgical scenarios. In conclusion, the MPSO-based method provides a reliable and precise solution for robotic surgical navigation, improving outcomes and safety in minimally invasive procedures.

Hypertension is a condition marked by elevated blood pressure, increasing risks of morbidity and mortality. Non-pharmacological treatments such as Tera exercise and acupressure therapy at the Taichong point offer alternative interventions. Tera exercise combines breathing techniques and body movements to reduce anxiety and promote vasodilation, thereby lowering blood pressure. Acupressure at the Taichong point facilitates energy flow, also contributing to blood pressure reduction. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of Tera exercise and Taichong point acupressure in lowering blood pressure among hypertensive patients. A two-group pre-post design was employed with a sample of 44 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Blood pressure data were collected using observation sheets. In the Tera exercise group (n=22), the average systolic pressure decreased from 148.77 mmHg to 143.77 mmHg, and diastolic pressure from 88.00 mmHg to 83.00 mmHg. In the acupressure group (n=22), systolic pressure reduced from 153.36 mmHg to 147.50 mmHg, and diastolic from 92.86 mmHg to 84.00 mmHg. Paired t-test analysis showed a significant difference (p-value = 0.000 < α = 0.05), indicating that acupressure therapy at the Taichong point is more effective in reducing blood pressure. This study concludes that while both therapies are effective, acupressure yields greater reductions and is recommended as a non-pharmacological treatment for hypertension in Trading Village, Tiris District, Probolinggo Regency.

Financing in Indonesia, especially banks, is very important, especially for business actors, this is a natural thing considering that banks have a strategic role in national development in order to realize a just and prosperous Indonesian society. Regulations regarding Sharia financing are regulated in Law No. 10 of 1945 and Article 1 number 2 of Law No. 10 of 1998 concerning amendments to Law No. 7 of 1992 concerning Sharia Banking (hereinafter referred to as the banking law) defines a bank as a business entity that collects funds from the community in the form of deposits and distributes them back to the community in the form of credit and/or in the form of claims in order to improve the standard of living of the people, but there is an inconsistency in the regulation in terms of guarantees. This legal provision continues until the implementation of the Sharia Banking Law, because there are no legal regulations governing sharia guarantees, therefore in terms of sharia banking practices, the guarantee procedures used by conventional banking are still applied, namely fiduciary guarantees and mortgage rights.
