Halal certification plays a crucial role in ensuring that a product is safe for consumption and complies with Islamic principles. Additionally, halal certification can also enhance a product's competitiveness. This study aims to provide understanding and knowledge to the community, particularly to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), about the importance of halal certification for a product in supporting sales growth, especially for food products. Using a qualitative approach, interviews and observations were conducted with MSME operators. The research findings indicate that limited access to information and low public awareness about halal certification are major barriers to implementing halal certification in the village. In this context, the government has appointed the Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) of the Republic of Indonesia to intensify halal certification for food industry producers. The requirements and procedures for obtaining halal certification need to be socialized to the broader community, particularly MSME operators. Thus, the KKN Team of UIN Walisongo, together with BPJPH, aims to assist the government program by providing information and understanding to the Rejosari village community about the importance of holding a halal certificate, which can help enhance the economic value of the village.

This study investigates the implementation of ecobricks as a strategy to reduce plastic waste in Penjalin Village. The research focused on the effectiveness of educational workshops and community involvement in promoting sustainable waste management practices. Data was collected through surveys, interviews, workshops, and observations conducted over three months. The results showed that plastic waste is a significant issue in the village, with limited awareness of proper waste disposal methods. The introduction of ecobricks, coupled with community education, resulted in increased participation and a positive shift in attitudes towards environmental sustainability. The study also found that the success of the ecobrick initiative relies heavily on continued education and community engagement. The findings suggest that similar strategies could be effective in other rural areas facing similar challenges. This research contributes to the broader discourse on sustainable waste management and highlights the potential of ecobricks as a practical solution to plastic waste problems.

This study discusses the application of religious moderation in an effort to build a peaceful and tolerant community in Tewang Kadamba Village, Central Kalimantan. This village is known for its cultural and religious diversity, where the Dayak Kaharingan tribe is the majority of the population while Hinduism, Islam, and Christianity live side by side harmoniously. However, there are challenges related to the lack of motivation in worship activities and the shortage of Islamic religious teachers in the village. The Tewang Kadamba Village KKN Team took the initiative to empower the community through strengthening religious values ??by involving the younger generation and cadres in the religious teaching program. This program is expected to encourage positive changes in religious life and social life in the village. This study uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method and literature study, with the aim of evaluating the effectiveness of the religious teaching program in improving the understanding and practice of religious moderation values ??among the Tewang Kadamba Village community. It is hoped that the results of the study can provide useful suggestions for the development of religious teaching programs in Tewang Kadamba Village, so that they can support the formation of a religious, tolerant, and peaceful society

Abstrak:
Corruption is one of the major problems that hinder development and prosperity in Indonesia. In Batam City, the handling of corruption crimes is often not optimal, especially in the aspect of recovering illegally obtained assets. The Non-Conviction Based Asset Forfeiture (NCBAF) mechanism is one of the instruments that is expected to accelerate the process of recovering state losses without having to wait for criminal punishment. This research aims to assist in the regulation of NCBAF laws and standards in resolving corruption crimes in Batam City, as well as identify the obstacles faced and efforts that can be made to optimize their implementation. The research methods used are normative juridical and empirical juridical. The normative juridical approach is carried out by reviewing relevant regulations, including Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning the Prevention and Eradication of Money Laundering Crimes, as well as related literature. The empirical juridical approach is carried out through case studies and interviews with law enforcement officials in Batam City. The results of the study show that although the NCBAF has been regulated in the regulations, its implementation in Batam City still faces various obstacles, such as lack of coordination between law enforcement agencies, high standards of proof, unclear legal procedures, and limited resources and technical capacity of the apparatus. Examples of corruption in infrastructure assistance, embezzlement of social funds, and corruption in the procurement of goods and services show that assets suspected of originating from criminal acts often cannot be immediately confiscated and utilized by the state. To overcome these obstacles, this study suggests increased coordination between law enforcement agencies through the formation of special teams, the preparation of clear standard operating procedures (SOPs), intensification of training for law enforcement officials, increased international cooperation, and community campaigns to increase public awareness and support. With these steps, the NCBAF is expected to become a more effective instrument in eradicating corruption and recovering state losses in Batam City.
