Organizational psychology plays an important role in understanding individual and group behavior within organizations, particularly in educational contexts. Its application can help improve the effectiveness of educational institution management by strengthening key aspects such as work motivation, leadership, communication, and a conducive work environment. By understanding these aspects, educational organizations can develop more effective work systems, enhance the performance of educators, and create a positive and productive organizational culture. However, research on organizational psychology in educational settings remains fragmented and often focuses on specific variables separately. This limits a comprehensive understanding of how these factors interact to influence overall organizational performance. Therefore, a more integrative and comprehensive review is needed to synthesize previous findings. This study aims to review and synthesize existing literature on organizational psychology in educational organizations, with a particular focus on the roles of motivation, leadership, and work environment in improving organizational effectiveness. The findings are expected to provide a more holistic understanding and serve as a basis for developing strategies to enhance the performance of educational organizations in the future.

Management psychology is an approach that plays a crucial role in understanding individual and group behavior within organizations, particularly in the ever-evolving educational and work environments. The application of psychological principles to management practice is believed to improve performance, leadership effectiveness, and create a more conducive work and learning environment. This study aims to examine the development of trends, approaches, and key findings in the study of management psychology through a literature review. Furthermore, this study also seeks to answer two research questions: (1) how have management psychology research trends developed over the past five years, and (2) what are the key findings in the educational and organizational contexts. The method used is a qualitative approach by searching various literature sources through the Google Scholar and Publish or Perish (PoP) databases, using the keyword "management psychology." Of the 20 articles found between 2021 and 2026, five were selected as the most relevant for further analysis. The study results indicate three dominant themes: the role of management psychology in education, the influence of motivation and leadership on performance, and its contribution to the organizational adaptation process. The conclusions of this study confirm that integrating psychological aspects into management plays a crucial role in increasing organizational effectiveness. Therefore, further research is recommended to empirically examine the relationship between psychological variables and a broader scope.

This study aims to explore the historical and intellectual trajectory of physical education tracing its evolution from ancient civilizations to the modern era. Through a comprehensive analysis of the social cultural and scientific dimensions that have shaped the objectives and methods of this vital educational field the research investigates how physical education has always been interwoven with the prevailing religious political and philosophical ideologies of its time. Adopting a historical-analytical methodology the study examines key transitional phases—from the use of physical education in ancient societies for religious rites and military preparation through its marginalization during the conservative religious dominance of the Middle Ages to its revival during the Renaissance and Enlightenment where humanistic philosophies re-established the unity of body and mind within a holistic worldview. In the modern era physical education has emerged as an institutionalized and science-based discipline grounded in biology psychology and pedagogy. It has moved beyond its traditional functions to become a transformative tool for developing a well-rounded human being—physically mentally and socially. The findings reveal that the development of physical education over time was neither superficial nor merely procedural. Rather it reflected profound shifts in perceptions of the human body and its place within broader value systems. The comparison between ancient and modern perspectives highlights a significant shift: from shaping obedient bodies under authority to empowering individuals through self-awareness psychological well-being and active civic participation. Contemporary physical education therefore is no longer confined to physical performance; it serves as a holistic approach to preparing individuals to meet life’s challenges with balance and adaptability. The study recommends a re-evaluation of modern curricula to incorporate the rich historical and philosophical legacy of physical education along with greater integration of psychological and social dimensions within its pedagogical aims. It further calls for comparative research grounded in culturally nuanced frameworks that link past insights with present needs contributing to the creation of more humane and integrated educational models. Finally, the research underscores the critical role of specialized physical education instructors and advocates for their training to include leadership guidance and psychosocial support competencies beyond technical instruction.

This research examines the paradox of Christian leader integrity in facing political polarization and group identity in Toraja society. The background of the problem is a contradictive phenomenon where Christian communities strongly emphasize ethical character of leaders, yet strong group identification can blind them to ethical inconsistencies of supported leaders, especially in the dynamics of regional and presidential elections that divide churches. This research aims to analyze the paradox of Christian leader integrity, identify psychological, theological, and sociological factors causing ethical blindness, and formulate leadership principles that can maintain integrity amid political pressure. Using qualitative descriptive methods based on literature study, this research collects data from leadership theology literature, group identity psychology, and empirical studies on political practices in Toraja Christian communities. Research findings show that the integrity paradox manifests in local political dynamics where ethical standards become loose when leaders come from the same identity group. Factors causing ethical blindness include in-group bias and cognitive dissonance (psychological), sacred-secular dualism and permissive interpretation (theological), as well as clan structure and conformity pressure (sociological). The formulated leadership principles include commitment to biblical standards, theology-based political education, transformative prophetic role, accountability systems, contextual leadership, and building mature faith communities. The implication is that this research provides theoretical contributions to the development of contextual leadership theology and practical recommendations for church leaders in navigating the complexity of identity politics. Research recommendations include developing theology-based political education programs in churches, building leadership accountability systems, and further empirical research to validate the conceptual framework that has been built.

This study explores the relationship between religiosity and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) within contemporary organizations by adopting a positive psychology perspective. OCB is defined as discretionary behaviors by employees that go beyond their formal job duties and contribute positively to the overall functioning and success of the organization. Examples include helping colleagues, being punctual, and demonstrating initiative, which foster a cooperative and productive work environment. Religiosity, on the other hand, is understood as a belief system that shapes an individual’s values, attitudes, and behaviors, both intrinsically—stemming from internal spiritual commitment—and extrinsically—motivated by external social or cultural influences. Through a systematic review of ten national and international academic journals, this study identifies several common dimensions of OCB, such as altruism (helping others selflessly), civic virtue (active and responsible participation in organizational affairs), and conscientiousness (going beyond minimal job requirements). The findings reveal a consistent positive correlation between religiosity and OCB, especially in sectors like education, Islamic banking, and healthcare, where religious principles strongly influence organizational culture. The integration of religious values into organizational practices encourages employees to exhibit behaviors that promote harmony, ethical conduct, and a sense of community within the workplace. This is particularly evident in employees who possess high levels of intrinsic religiosity, as their internalized beliefs motivate them to engage in prosocial actions that benefit the organization. The study recommends that human resource management strategies incorporate religious or spiritual values to cultivate a positive organizational culture. Such integration can be achieved through training programs, leadership development, and reward systems that emphasize ethical behavior and social responsibility, ultimately leading to improved employee satisfaction, loyalty, and overall organizational performance.

This article aims to analyze and formulate Soul Care as a leadership management strategy to address the crisis of extreme fatigue (burnout) among church leaders, in order to achieve Sustainable Leadership. The burnout phenomenon is reviewed as a crisis of self-management and morals resulting from a misinterpretation of Servant Leadership that demands unlimited sacrifice. This research uses a qualitative literature review method with a Practical Theology approach and interdisciplinary analysis (Theology, Psychology, Management). Findings indicate that Soul Care is not a choice, but a normative command rooted in Sabbath Theology (the command for rest as a divine instruction) and exemplified by Jesus Christ (withdrawing for prayer and rest). Soul Care is practically implemented through disciplined and holistic Self-Boundary Management, encompassing temporal, physical, and emotional dimensions, which serves as a preventive strategy against fatigue. The synthesis of these findings yields the Sustainable Leadership model, which emphasizes that a leader's inner balance and self-wholeness are mandatory foundations for Ethical Integrity and successful long-term ministry.
