This study aims to describe the collaborative role and challenges faced by Special Assistant Teachers (GPK) or shadow teachers in supporting the learning of students with Special Needs (ABK) at SMPN 7 Salatiga. The method used in this study is a literature study, by reviewing various literature on inclusive education, the role of GPK, exploratory learning, and collaboration between teachers and parents. The results of the study indicate that GPK has an important role in academic assistance, behavioral management, social-emotional facilitation, and bridging communication between teachers, students, and parents. However, the implementation of inclusive education still faces several obstacles, such as limited facilities and infrastructure, low understanding and support from parents, lack of training for teachers, and variations in student abilities that require differentiated learning. This study emphasizes the importance of strengthening collaboration between stakeholders, optimizing facilities, and improving teacher competency so that inclusive education can run more effectively and support the development of students with Special Needs.

The professional competence of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers plays a decisive role in determining the quality of learning at the elementary school level. In practice, many teachers still encounter challenges in mastering subject content, developing systematic teaching materials, applying innovative learning strategies, and integrating educational technology into classroom activities. These conditions indicate the need for structured professional development efforts through collaborative forums. This study aims to analyze the role of the Islamic Education Teachers Working Group (KKG PAI) in maximizing the professional competence of PAI teachers in public elementary schools in Panti District, Pasaman Regency, and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors influencing its implementation. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation involving the KKG supervisor, the head of KKG PAI, and member teachers. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that KKG PAI functions as a strategic platform for collaborative lesson planning, subject-matter enrichment, peer reflection, and technology-based instructional training. Supporting factors include strong teacher commitment and collaborative culture, while limitations in facilities and technological disparities remain challenges. Strengthening the sustainability and management of KKG programs is essential to enhance teachers’ professional competence and improve the overall quality of Islamic education learning.

This study examines the role of teachers as Islamic counselors in addressing various psychological problems experienced by students, such as learning anxiety, academic stress, low self-confidence, difficulty controlling emotions, and social problems such as bullying. Teachers serve not only as instructors, but also as murabbi, mursyid, and moral role models in guiding students' spiritual and emotional development. The study used a qualitative method with a library study approach, where data were obtained through relevant literature related to Islamic counseling, Islamic education, and student psychology. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Islamic counseling through strategies such as mau'izhah hasanah, tazkiyah an-nafs, prayer and dhikr, empathy development, and collaboration with guidance and counseling teachers and parents has been proven to reduce students' anxiety and stress levels, increase learning motivation, strengthen morals and character, and provide spiritual peace. Thus, teachers play a strategic role in creating a holistic educational environment and supporting students' psychological well-being. In addition, the implementation of Islamic counseling also plays a role in building students' mental resilience in facing academic and social pressures. In the long term, this will strengthen the Islamic values ​​applied in students, while creating a more resilient and noble generation.

The rapid advancement of technology has made it easier for the public to access online loans (pinjol), but it has also increased the risk of misuse by illegal entities. The Financial Services Authority (OJK) recorded that from 2018 to 2022, it shut down 4,265 illegal online lending platforms. However, many cases continue to emerge due to the ease of creating applications and the use of overseas servers. Teachers are among the most affected victims due to low salaries and high living costs. The impacts of illegal online loans are highly detrimental, including the leakage of personal data, threats, intimidation, and excessively high interest rates. Education is crucial to prevent new victims. Isometric motion graphics are chosen as a medium because of their advantages in delivering information through engaging, clear, and easily understood visual and audio elements that are sustainable for audiences.

This article discusses the role of Special Assistant Teachers (GPK) in creating an effective inclusive classroom, where all students, including children with special needs, can participate optimally in the learning process. GPK plays the role of facilitators, mediators, and regular teacher partners in accommodating diverse learning needs. This role is realized through individual needs assessments, adjustment of learning strategies, modification of teaching materials, and provision of academic and social-emotional support to students. The results of the study show that the success of inclusive education is greatly influenced by GPK's professional competence, especially in understanding the characteristics of children with special needs and implementing differentiatory learning. In addition, effective collaboration between GPK and regular teachers is a key factor in creating an inclusive and non-discriminatory learning environment. Institutional support, such as inclusive school policies, the availability of infrastructure, and the support of school leaders, also play an important role. This article emphasizes the need for sustainable professional development, clear division of duties, and supportive education policies to strengthen GPK's role in promoting inclusive education equity in Indonesia.

This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) as an effort to develop the character of third-grade students at SDN Kestalan. Strengthening P5 is an essential component of the Merdeka Curriculum because it functions to shape students’ character holistically through six main dimensions. However, the implementation of P5 in elementary schools still faces several challenges, such as uneven teacher understanding, less structured planning, and diverse student characteristics. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques to obtain in-depth data on teacher practices, integration strategies, obstacles, and the impact of P5 implementation. The results show that teachers have an adequate understanding of the P5 concept and strive to integrate it through interactive lectures, question-and-answer sessions, simple experiments, the habituation of the 5S culture, and creative projects that actively involve students. The obstacles encountered are generally related to discipline issues, emotional immaturity, limited facilities, and suboptimal parental involvement. However, these challenges can be reduced through personal approaches, positive motivation, support from school facilities, and collaboration with parents. The implementation of P5 has been proven to have a positive impact on students’ character development, especially in the aspects of politeness, cooperation, responsibility, and self-confidence. Therefore, the strategic role of teachers and the support of a conducive learning environment are key factors in the success of character strengthening through P5.         

This study examines the role of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers in fostering religious moderation and tolerance among students in response to growing challenges related to diversity in educational settings. The objective of this research is to describe the pedagogical strategies and instructional methods employed by PAI teachers, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors that shape the effectiveness of promoting moderate and tolerant attitudes. Utilizing a qualitative literature review approach, this study conducts a critical analysis of relevant academic sources. The findings indicate that PAI teachers play a pivotal role in cultivating moderate and tolerant behavior through learning approaches that emphasize dialogical engagement, value internalization, and strengthened understanding of diversity. Supporting factors include an inclusive school culture and teachers’ professional awareness of the importance of religious moderation. Conversely, inhibiting factors encompass limited pedagogical resources and the influence of external extremist ideologies. Overall, the study underscores the strategic position of PAI teachers in developing a harmonious and diversity-oriented educational environment.

This study aims to understand and explain in depth the role of teachers in the care of children aged 3–5 years at the Siti Hajar Kindergarten and its influence on child development. This study used a qualitative approach with the aim of obtaining a comprehensive picture of the interactions between teachers and children in daily care activities. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation that describe care practices in the TPA environment. The results show that teachers have a very important role, including as guides in learning activities, mediators in children's social and emotional development, motivators to foster interest in learning, role models of positive behavior, and communication bridges between children and parents. These roles contribute significantly to character formation, social skills development, increased learning motivation, and children's emotional well-being. Despite facing various obstacles, such as limited facilities and challenges in maintaining children's concentration, teachers continue to strive to provide optimal care through enjoyable learning strategies and active communication with parents. This study recommends increasing teacher capacity and strengthening collaboration between educational institutions and families to support the sustainable growth and development of early childhood.  

Tingginya konsumsi makanan instan di kalangan anak-anak sekolah dasar telah menjadi perhatian penting karena potensi risiko kesehatan jangka panjangnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang karakter buku cerita bergambar interaktif sebagai media edukasi bagi anak-anak usia 9–12 tahun untuk memahami bahaya makanan instan dan mengembangkan kebiasaan makan yang sehat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran yang dikombinasikan dengan metodologi desain, termasuk tinjauan pustaka, wawancara dengan guru, ahli gizi, dan ilustrator, dan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 114 responden untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pendidikan anak-anak dan preferensi visual. Proses desain melibatkan identifikasi masalah, pengembangan konsep, pembuatan prototipe, dan validasi melalui jajak pendapat audiens. Desain ini menampilkan karakter utama Lala, Lita, Ibu, dan Maskot Perut, dengan ilustrasi kartun digital berwarna cerah. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa karakter dan desain visual selaras dengan minat dan kebutuhan audiens target, menjadikan media ini efektif dalam menyampaikan pesan edukasi dengan cara yang menarik sekaligus memotivasi anak-anak untuk memahami risiko makanan instan.

The advancement of knowledge and technology in the 21st century has changed human life patterns and demands a transformation in the world of education to be able to prepare students to face global challenges. 21st-century education emphasizes the mastery of critical, creative, communicative, collaborative skills, and technological literacy needed in the digital era.The purpose of this study is to investigate the idea of 21st-century learning, relevant learning models, and the role of teachers as facilitators, innovators, and agents of change in the modern learning process. This study uses a library research strategy by reviewing numerous scientific materials linked to 21st-century competencies, Learning methods including cooperative Learning, Project Based Learning, Problem Based Learning, and Discovery Learning, as well as the TPACK framework as a basis for technology integration. The study’s findings show that 21st-century learning requires the implementation of a learner-centered approach and the planned use of technology to raise the standard of learning procedures and results. In addition, teachers have a strategic role in guiding to enable pupils to acquire higher order thinking abilities and adapt to changing times. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of strengthening teacher competencies and implementing innovative learning models is an attempt to raise educational standards in the global era.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui sejauh mana upaya penanggulangan kekerasan verbal verbal dari kesiswaan/STP2K SMA Negeri Colomadu. 2) Mengetahui apa saja peran dari Guru PPKn dalam meningkatkan kesadaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan (civic dispositions) pada siswa/siswi SMA Negeri Colomadu. 3) Mengetahui apa saja yang menjadi faktor utama munculnya kekerasan verbal di kalangaan siswa/siswi SMA Negeri Colomadu. Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelsakan bahwa kasus kekerasan verbal pada siswa/siswi SMA Negeri Colomadu menujukan bahwa sudah ada upaya penanggulangan yang telah di jalankan melalui program seperti sosialisasi, seminar dan penguatan pendidikan karakter dalam mencegah terjadinya kasus tindak kekerasan verbal di sekolah. Penyebaran hoaks keagamaan di media sosial telah menciptakan tantangan serius terhadap narasi keagamaan yang sahih, menuntut peran krusial Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) sebagai garda terdepan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi kompetensi profesional Guru PAI, menganalisis strategi mereka dalam merespons hoaks, dan merumuskan implikasi kebijakan pelatihan guru. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode kajian pustaka, penelitian ini menganalisis konsep Kompetensi Guru PAI (Pedagogik, Sosial, Kepribadian) dan Literasi Media/Digital (KLM) untuk merumuskan model kompetensi ideal. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa Guru PAI memerlukan rekonstruksi filosofis agar mampu menjadi pembimbing etika dan agen perubahan yang mengintegrasikan nilai Islam dengan teknologi. Kompetensi Pedagogik dan Sosial terbukti penting untuk edukasi anti-hoaks dan pembentukan etika digital, diperkuat oleh Integritas Personal dan KLM sebagai keterampilan inti untuk berpikir kritis dan menyaring informasi. Implikasi penelitian merekomendasikan prioritas pelatihan guru pada etika dan literasi digital, serta menyarankan penelitian mendatang untuk studi komparatif kuantitatif guna mengukur efektivitas program.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran guru sebagai subjek pendidikan dalam perspektif tafsir tarbawi berdasarkan Q.S. Al-Kahfi ayat 66-67 serta relevansinya bagi pendidikan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). Kisah dialog antara Nabi Musa dan Nabi Khidir merepresentasikan relasi edukatif antara murid dan guru yang dilandasi adab, kesabaran, kerendahan hati, dan keteladanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan. Sumber data diperoleh dari Al-Qur’an, kitab tafsir tarbawi, serta buku dan artikel jurnal pendidikan islam yang terbit dalam lima tahun terakhir. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik Analisis tematik menggunakan pendekatan tafsir tarbawi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa guru perspektif Al-Qur‟an tidak hanya berperan sebagai penyampai ilmu, tetapi juga sebagai pembimbing moral dan spiritual peserta didik. Nilai-nilai pendidikan dalam Q.S Al-Kahfi ayat 66-67 memiliki relevansi yang kuat untuk diterapkan dalam pendidikan MI, khususnya dalam penguatan adab belajar dan pembentukan karakter Islami peserta didik.

Proses belajar siswa muslim tidak hanya melibatkan kemampuan berfikir (akal), tetapi juga kemampuan dalam mengelola perasaan (emosi). Ketidakseimbangan antara emosi dan akal dapat mengganggu fokus, ketekunan, hingga hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji keseimbangan emosi dan akal pada siswa muslim dalam proses belajar, serta peranan lingkungan pesantren dan pendidik dalam membentuk keseimbangan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode observasi langsung dan kajian Pustaka. Observasi langsung dilakukan di Pondok Pesantren KMI Ibnu Abbas Klaten yang menaungi santri setingkat SMP dan SMA. Data dari observasi diperkuat dengan kajian pustaka dari berbagai penelitian dan berbagai teori psikologi Pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa santri yang mengendalikan emosinya dengan baik, cenderung lebih focus, tenang, dan tekun dalam proses pembelajaran. Santri tersebut juga mampu menerima teguran tanpa menunjukkan reaksi emosional yang berlebihan. Peran guru, ustadz dan musyrif yang mengedepankan keteladanan, keseimbangan antara kelembutan dengan ketegasan, serta penanaman adab sebelum ilmu terbbukti memberikan kontribusi yang besar tehadap keseimbangan emosi dan akal santri. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keseimbangan emosi dan akal yang didukung oleh nilai-nilai islam berperan penting dalam peningkatan hasil belajar siswa muslim.

Guidance and Counseling services have a strategic role in supporting students’ holistic development, including academic, social, emotional, and moral aspects. However, in practical implementation, counseling services in schools still show a gap between theoretical ideal concepts and real field practices. This study aims to analyze the role of school counselors in the implementation of Guidance and Counseling services at MTs Ibnu Sina Karawang, focusing on the counselor’s role, teacher-student interaction patterns, supporting factors, and challenges faced during implementation. This research employed a qualitative approach through semi-structured interviews with the school principal, teachers, and selected students. The findings show that the counselor plays multiple roles, namely as a disciplinary guide, personal counselor, moral educator, and facilitator of religious character strengthening. The interaction between counselors and students is carried out through humanistic, empathetic and communicative approaches. Supporting factors include strong collaboration among teachers, principals, homeroom teachers, and religious-based school activities. Meanwhile, several obstacles are found such as limited number of counselors, lack of students’ comprehensive understanding about BK functions, limited time allocation, and negative stigma that counseling services are only for problematic students. This research emphasizes the need for strengthening counseling literacy and transforming services into more preventive, developmental, collaborative, and continuously progressive student-oriented programs.

Penelitian ini menganalisis peran motivasi spiritual dalam meningkatkan ketahanan belajar siswa muslim di SD IT Ar Risalah Miri dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen terhadap siswa kelas IV-VI, guru, dan manajemen sekolah. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa motivasi spiritual berkontribusi fundamental terhadap pembentukan resiliensi akademik melalui empat dimensi utama: kesadaran menuntut ilmu sebagai ibadah, penerapan nilai kesabaran dalam menghadapi kesulitan pembelajaran, manifestasi ketekunan dalam konsistensi belajar, dan sikap tawakal yang mengurangi kecemasan akademik. Program pembiasaan keagamaan yang sistematis meliputi shalat dhuha berjamaah, tadarus Al-Qur'an, hafalan berjenjang, dan mentoring spiritual personal terbukti efektif menginternalisasi nilai-nilai spiritual dalam perilaku belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi dimensi spiritual tidak hanya meningkatkan motivasi intrinsik tetapi juga membangun fondasi psikologis untuk menghadapi tekanan akademik. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis terhadap pengembangan model pendidikan Islam terpadu holistik dan implikasi praktis bagi stakeholder pendidikan dalam merancang kebijakan berbasis spiritual untuk penguatan resiliensi akademik siswa muslim tingkat sekolah dasar.

This study examines the role of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers in helping students face personal, social, academic, and career problems. Using qualitative descriptive methods through interviews, observations, and documentation, this study found that BK services were carried out routinely through classical guidance, group services, and individual counseling that focused on self-development, career exploration, bullying prevention, and exam readiness. The effectiveness of the service is also supported by a conducive BK environment and collaboration between subject teachers, parents, and external parties such as psychologists or related institutions. However, various obstacles are still found, such as a high ratio of counselors to students, changes in education policies that require rapid adaptation, limited support facilities, and generational differences between counselors and students that affect communication patterns. This research emphasizes the importance of improving the professionalism of BK teachers through continuous training and strengthening synergy between educators to realize effective, responsive, and oriented BK services that are oriented towards the development of students' character in a holistic and sustainable manner.

The rapid advancement of digital technology requires teachers to serve not only as educators but also as digital role models for their students. This study aims to analyze the teacher’s role in instilling digital ethics and responsibility among Generation Z, as well as to identify effective strategies in shaping students’ digital character. A qualitative approach with a case study method was employed in several secondary schools in Lampung Province. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed descriptively through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that teachers play a central role in fostering digital ethics awareness through exemplary behavior, ethical communication, and digital responsibility habituation within the school environment. Teachers’ consistency in using social media, managing information, and engaging ethically in online interactions significantly influences students’ digital behavior. This study highlights the need to strengthen teachers’ digital literacy capacity based on moral and spiritual values. The implications suggest that educational policies should integrate the teacher’s role as a digital role model into the broader strategy for developing ethical and responsible digital citizens in the era of technological transformation.

Guidance and counseling is assistance provided to students, either individually or in groups, so they can become more independent and develop optimally in various areas such as personal relationships, social relationships, learning, and careers. This assistance is provided through several types of services and activities in accordance with applicable regulations. Observation and interviews are among the methods used by guidance and counseling teachers to gather information in carrying out their duties at school. Guidance and counseling services at SMPN 2 Telukjambe Timur run smoothly. Guidance and counseling teachers play a creative, innovative, interactive, and communicative role in carrying out their duties. In addition, guidance and counseling teachers are also supported by the presence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers. The partnership between guidance and counseling teachers is very good and very important, because both have the same goal: to shape good character in students at school.

This study aims to describe the role of Catholic religion teachers in instilling a multicultural spirit through Catholic Religious Education at SMP Katolik 2 W.R. Soepratman Barong Tongkok. The research was motivated by the urgent need to promote multicultural awareness in Catholic schools, especially in response to persistent issues of discrimination and exclusion among students. These challenges highlight the importance of Catholic religion teachers as character builders who foster inclusive and peaceful coexistence within a diverse school community. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using method triangulation. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers and the principal, classroom observations, document analysis, and online questionnaires to students as supplementary data. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, involving data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that Catholic religion teachers go beyond teaching doctrinal content; they also act as educators, facilitators, mentors, and promoters of multicultural values. These roles are manifested in learning strategies such as Biblical reflections, group discussions, drama projects, and anti-discrimination classroom agreements. This study emphasizes that Catholic Religious Education plays a vital role in shaping students’ awareness and attitudes toward multiculturalism. Catholic religion teachers hold a strategic position in guiding students to become inclusive, open-minded individuals who are capable of living harmoniously in a pluralistic society.
