This article analyzes the word “seed” as a metaphor of God's word in Jesus' parables found in the Synoptic Gospels (Matthew, Mark, and Luke) with a semantic approach. The metaphor of “seed” in the context of first-century agriculture is used by Jesus to describe human responses to God's words, which are likened to different types of soil. This study explores the literal, metaphorical, and symbolic meanings of the Greek word σπόρος (sporos), and compares its usage in the three Synoptic Gospels to reveal differences in their narrative emphases. This study shows that the metaphor of “seed” not only describes the dynamics of spiritual growth, but also conveys a theological message about the importance of faith, perseverance, and readiness of heart in receiving God's word. As such, this article offers a new perspective that connects biblical and linguistic studies to deepen the understanding of Jesus' teaching.

Education plays an important role in the development of a nation, with the quality of education being the responsibility of all parties, especially teachers. In Elementary Schools (SD), teachers must utilize various open materials in learning to motivate students, help them explore basic abilities, and guide them to discover their potential. Teaching materials in learning, such as developing teaching materials using a project-based approach that has great potential to integrate local values and utilize the potential of the surrounding environment, so that learning becomes more meaningful for students. In SD Negeri 8 Dobo, it was found that many teachers were not yet skilled in creating open materials in learning and the learning process was still teacher-themed. To overcome this, community service activities were carried out by creating a Workshop on Developing Teaching Materials Based on Projects for Elementary School Teachers in Small Islands. This workshop aims to improve teacher competence, especially in small border island areas, in developing project-based teaching materials. Teachers will be trained to design learning projects that are interesting, challenging, and relevant to the local context, and support their implementation with appropriate open materials. The expected end results include improving teachers' pedagogical skills, the formation of collaborative networks between teachers, and the creation of learning project plans that can be implemented in their respective schools. In addition, this activity will also provide practical strategies to overcome the geographical and social challenges facing teachers in border areas. Thus, this workshop is expected to be a strategic step in improving the quality of education in the region.

In the cracker production process at UMKM Kerupuk Subur, the process of drying crackers involves human labor so there is a risk of injury because when drying crackers, workers have to bend and squat. This study aims to determine the occupational dangers of workers during the drying process of crackers in UMKM Kerupuk Subur and provide recommendations for improvement. The method used to analyze body posture is Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) then for improvement recommendations using an anthropometric approach with percentile calculations to determine dimensions as parameters for designing the work aids needed in the form of an ergonomic drying table. The results of REBA's analysis show a score of 9 with a high or high level, meaning there is a high risk of injury so immediate improvement is needed. The results of the design of an ergonomic drying table were then simulated through Inventor software which described the position of the worker's posture when carrying out cracker drying activities with a perpendicular working position. The results of the assessment of the working posture of the worker after the improvement showed a decrease in the risk level from medium to low and negligible.

Science learning at school places greater emphasis on mastering basic scientific work abilities or science process skills, so that learning is more meaningful. However, based on observations made by researchers through field observations of the reality of science learning that takes place in class IV UPTD SD NEGERI 017973 KISARAN KOTA, it shows that there are still weaknesses in the science learning process which results in a decline in student learning outcomes. The weakness of science learning found in class IV UPTD SD NEGERI 017973 KISARAN KOTA is that this learning places more emphasis on mastering a number of facts and concepts, but does not facilitate students to obtain comprehensive and meaningful learning outcomes. The high percentage of students who have not been able to achieve the minimum completeness criteria, namely 36% indicated that the completeness of students' classical learning outcomes in this class was still not optimal so it needed to be improved. This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of class IV UPTD SD NEGERI 017973 KISARAN KOTA students by using the demonstration method in science learning.

This study examines the intricate relationship between language use in literature and the cultural values it reflects. Language serves not only as a medium of communication but also as a vessel for cultural identity, beliefs, and social norms. Through a comparative analysis of literary works from diverse cultural backgrounds, this research highlights how authors employ language to convey their cultural narratives, ideologies, and ethical frameworks. The study focuses on various literary genres, including poetry, prose, and drama, to illustrate how linguistic choices—such as diction, syntax, and figurative language—embody the values and traditions of specific cultures. Additionally, the research investigates the impact of historical and social contexts on language use in literature, revealing how cultural shifts and globalization influence literary expression. By analyzing texts from different periods and regions, this study aims to demonstrate that literature not only reflects cultural values but also plays a crucial role in shaping and challenging them. POME is liquid wastewater derived from processing of palm fruit. POME contains nitrogen, phosphate, potassium, magnesium and calcium compounds, that can be used as a good fertilizer for plantations. However, before application, POME must be processed because direct use of unprocessed POME can damage the environment. PT XYZ utilizes POME as raw material for biogas through an anaerobic fermentation process to produce alternative energy for electricity generation, however, biogas production at PT XYZ  produces CH4 levels that do not meet the desired standard, namely 60%, while the value obtained is still 57%, so it can occure an incomplete combustion process in the engine. Therefore, research was carried out to analyze the influence of POME's Chemical Oygen Demand (COD) and the pH of POME as biogas raw material on the CH4 produced. Meanwhile, based on measurements of POME pH, fluctuations are caused by environmental conditions, therefore before the feed enters the biodigester, the first treatment is increasing pH until 6-7 to adjust the optimal conditions for bacteria working to break down organic substances.  The results shows that the estimated potential for a Biogas Power Plant (PLTBg) with a production capacity of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) of 60 tons/hour, the high generating capacity is influenced by the large COD value, meaning that the COD value greatly influences the CH4 produced, but must also be in accordance with Other factors that influence CH4 production such as pH, temperature, stirring and others.

The leather industry in numerous countries, including Indonesia, continues to encounter significant challenges that impede its competitiveness in both domestic and international markets. Abekani Leather, a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) operating within the leather industry in Yogyakarta, is one such entity striving to remain competitive against other players in the sector. Based on interviews conducted with the owner of Abekani Leather, it was revealed that annual sales from 2018 to 2023 have declined by approximately 10-15%. This downturn is primarily attributed to the increasing presence of competitors offering similar products within the leather industry. Based on the AHP weighting results using the Super Decision software, it can be concluded that the alternative strategy SO-4 (Utilizing social media for promotions in various media by utilizing community relationships) has the highest weight value of 0.54, meaning this strategy should be prioritized first to achieve Abekani's objectives.

Indonesian, as a unified language, has a wealth of dialects which are influenced by various regional languages. These dialect differences significantly influence the phonetic aspects of Indonesian, especially in terms of sound pronunciation. This research aims to examine how dialect variations can change the way speakers pronounce words in Indonesian.Analysis of various dialects in Indonesia shows that there are quite striking differences in terms of phoneme use, intonation and rhythm. Factors such as mother tongue, social environment, and level of education also influence pronunciation variations. Some examples of dialect influences include changes in consonant or vowel sounds, addition or deletion of syllables, and differences in intonation which can change the meaning of a sentence. This research has important implications in the fields of linguistics, sociolinguistics, and language education. A deeper understanding of the influence of dialect on Indonesian phonetics can help in developing a more relevant and effective Indonesian language learning curriculum, as well as in increasing awareness of the richness of Indonesian language and culture.
