This community service programme aims to provide education and training on the utilisation of the TikTok application as a digital business medium for the community of Rejosari Village, RT 03 RW 07, Karanggeneng, Boyolali Regency. The rapid development of digital technology and social media has transformed patterns of economic interaction from conventional systems into platform-based digital economies. Nevertheless, at the village level, the use of social media remains predominantly oriented towards entertainment and has not yet been optimally directed as an instrument for enhancing household economic capacity. The implementation method adopts an educative–participatory approach through the delivery of conceptual materials, demonstrations of TikTok features, and hands-on practice in creating digital business content. The results of the activity indicate an improvement in participants’ understanding of social media–based digital business opportunities, as well as the emergence of collective awareness to utilise TikTok as a means of generating additional income. This programme confirms that social media–based digital business education can function as an effective instrument for empowering rural communities in responding to digital economic transformation.

Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health (the 2023 Health Law) serves as a fundamental regulation governing various aspects of health services in Indonesia, including the operations of private hospitals. For private hospitals whose shares are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the implementation of the 2023 Health Law has brought significant changes in both legal and operational dimensions. This study aims to examine the legal aspects of implementing the 2023 Health Law on the operations of IDX-listed private hospitals. Employing a normative legal research method with statutory and conceptual approaches, this study analyzes relevant regulations and doctrines. The results indicate that the 2023 Health Law expands the scope of hospitals' legal liability, comprehensively regulates the obligations and rights of both hospitals and patients, and imposes stricter sanctions for violations. Furthermore, the implementation of this regulation impacts the business and financial aspects of listed private hospitals, including expansion opportunities, shifts in cost structures, and stock market responses. However, challenges remain in its application, such as diverse interpretations of certain provisions and hospitals' readiness to comply with the established requirements.

The problem of illegal temporary shelters (TPS) is one of the serious environmental issues in Jambi City. Danau Sipin District is the district with the highest number of illegal TPS in Jambi City, namely 13 points. This study aims to determine the performance of the Environmental Management, Supervision and Enforcement Division (P3HL) the Jambi City Environmental Service the productivity aspect of the problem of illegal TPS in Danau Sipin District using the theory of public organization performance by Agus Dwiyanto (2006) with primary focus on productivity indicators. This can be seen from the utilization of various inputs such as human resources consisting of 3 field officers, operational facilities in the form of 1 patrol car, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for supervision, as well as clear and easy public reporting mechanisms to produce various outputs in the form of field supervision activities, enforcement of regulations, education and socialization to the public, and follow-up public reports. Although these various activities have been carried out, the limited number of field officers and operational facilities has resulted in the intensity of supervision in the field not being able to be carried out optimally. The conclusion of this study shows that the performance the Environmental Arrangement, Supervision and Law Enforcement Division of the Jambi City Environmental Service in terms of productivity has been running well, but still requires improvement, especially in the addition of human resources and operational facilities so that supervision and enforcement of regulations against illegal TPS can be carried out more optimally.

The development of information technology has encouraged transformation in the administration and implementation of the judicial system in Indonesia, including within civil procedural law. The civil justice process, which has traditionally relied on manual procedures as regulated in the HIR and RBg, faces several limitations such as lengthy procedures, relatively high costs, and limited access for justice seekers. To address these challenges, the Supreme Court introduced the e-court system as part of judicial modernization through the digitalization of case administration and court proceedings. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of e-court in realizing procedural justice within civil procedural law and to examine the relationship between the classical procedural provisions contained in HIR/RBg and the newer regulations governing electronic court administration. The research employs a normative legal research method using statutory and conceptual approaches by examining legal provisions and the concept of procedural justice within the judicial system. The findings indicate that the implementation of e-court reflects a paradigm shift in civil procedural law from a formalistic system toward a more digital and administrative system that improves efficiency in case administration and accelerates dispute resolution. However, this transformation also raises questions regarding the harmonization of legal norms between the regulations governing electronic court systems and the traditional civil procedural rules. Nevertheless, the implementation of e-court has positive implications for the realization of the principles of simple, fast, and low-cost justice while also improving public access to more effective and efficient judicial services.

This study discusses the importance of family-focused Christian theology in building children's character in the digital era through the Christian Religious Education (PAK) approach. The transformation of information and communication technology has brought major changes, including in the fields of education and character formation. The digital era provides opportunities to increase knowledge and access to learning, but also raises challenges in the form of weakening moral values, integrity, and relationships within the family. The family as a divine institution has a primary role in teaching Christian values through role models, communication, and direct experience. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach, which reviews literature and observations of Christian education practices both in families and schools. The results show that families have an important role in developing children's faith and character, while PAK serves as a link between faith education at home and formal education at school. PAK is considered relevant because it can unite students' cognitive, affective, and conative aspects in facing the influence of digital culture. Overall, family-based Christian theology supported by PAK has great relevance in shaping a young generation with integrity, critical thinking, and character. This approach not only instills knowledge of faith but also prepares students to become responsible and wise leaders in utilizing technology in accordance with Christian values.

State finances rely heavily on tax revenues, yet tax avoidance remains a persistent obstacle that can reduce government income. This practice is commonly associated with internal corporate conditions. Therefore, this research examines how profitability, leverage, firm size, and capital intensity relate to tax avoidance behavior. Employing a descriptive design with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), the study evaluates ten empirical articles published between 2021 and 2025 in Sinta and Scopus indexed journals. The analysis indicates that the influence of these internal factors varies across studies. Profitability and leverage demonstrate contradictory effects, as strong earnings and higher debt may stimulate aggressive tax planning through tax shields, but may also restrain avoidance to preserve corporate image. Firm size likewise presents inconsistent results due to regulatory and public attention. In contrast, capital intensity generally shows minimal influence because investments in fixed assets are directed toward operational efficiency. These findings provide valuable considerations for policymakers to strengthen tax deduction regulations and encourage responsible corporate tax compliance.

This study aims to analyze the registration of Deeds of Mortgage (APHT) that exceed the 7 (seven) day time limit in Badung Regency and the legal consequences that arise from this. The research uses empirical legal methods with a legislative, analytical, case, and legal sociology approach. Data was obtained through interviews with PPAT and the Badung Regency Land Office (BPN) as well as a study of secondary legal materials. The results of the study show that delays in APHT registration still occur both through the manual (offline) and electronic (HT-el) systems. The contributing factors include negligence or workload of PPAT, incomplete documents from the parties, administrative obstacles at the Land Office, and technical disruptions to the electronic system. Legally, delays do not invalidate APHT, but they delay the creation of mortgage rights because these rights only have legal force from the date of recording in the Land Registry. As a result, creditors do not obtain preferential rights and full legal protection before registration is carried out. PPATs who are late may be subject to administrative sanctions in accordance with official regulations. Based on the theories of utility, legal protection, and legal certainty, delays in APHT registration reduce the effectiveness of creditor protection and create potential legal uncertainty. Therefore, it is necessary to improve supervision and guidance for PPATs, as well as optimize the HT-el system to ensure legal certainty and protection in the practice of registering Mortgage Rights.

The principle of good faith constitutes a fundamental element within Indonesia’s trademark law system, particularly in processes ranging from trademark registration to the cancellation of registered marks. This study examines the role of the good faith principle as a primary legal foundation for trademark annulment, using the dispute over the Minyak Kutus Kutus trademark as a case study. The conflict emerged when the trademark was registered by an individual who was not the original creator, leading to legal disputes and judicial examination. This research adopts a normative juridical method by analyzing various legal sources, including statutory regulations, court decisions, and relevant legal doctrines. The findings indicate that the principle of good faith is not merely an ethical norm but also functions as an important legal instrument to protect the legitimate rights of original trademark owners from attempts of unlawful control through bad-faith registration. Furthermore, the court’s decision in the Kutus Kutus case demonstrates the crucial role of enforcing the good faith principle in maintaining legal certainty while ensuring protection for fair and honest business actors in Indonesia’s trademark system.

This study aims to explore employees’ work experiences related to work-life balance and compensation in shaping employee performance at CV. Sepanjang Masa (Masa Kreatif), a social media agency located in Makassar. A qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical field design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, passive participant observation, and documentation involving 11 informants from both management and creative teams. Data analysis followed processes of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with trustworthiness ensured through triangulation techniques. The findings reveal that employees’ work-life balance experiences are dynamic and heterogeneous. Work flexibility provides opportunities for personal time management; however, rapid response demands and intensive content production blur the boundaries between work and personal life. A supportive, communicative, and collaborative work environment acts as a protective factor that mitigates work pressure and fosters creativity. Compensation is perceived not only as financial remuneration but also as a symbol of recognition, professional development opportunities, and organizational appreciation, although gaps remain between employee expectations and organizational capacity. Integratively, work-life balance, work environment, and compensation constitute interconnected work experiences influencing employee engagement and performance within the digital creative industry.

This study investigated the logical function of clause complexes in two selected English nursery tales, Jack the Giant Killer and Jack and the Beanstalk, using Halliday’s Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL) framework. The research focuses on the realization of clause interpendency through the taxis system (parataxis, hypotaxis, and taxis combination) and logico-semantic relations (elaboration, extension, enhancement, idea and locution). The method employed is qualitative content analysis based on Krippendorf involving processes such as unitizing, sampling, coding, reducing, interpreting, and narrating. From 1,048 clauses analyzed, 341 wereidentified as clause complexes. The findings show that enhancement is the most dominant logico-semantic relation (164 cases), followed by extension (123 cases), elaboration (100 cases), locution (57 cases), andidea (22 cases). The findings show that paratxis is the most dominant taxis in selected English nursery tales. While hypotaxis relations mostly realized in enhancement, while extension appeared dominantly in parataxis. These results reveal that although nursery tales are intended for children, they often employ complex grammatical structure, therefore, balancing narrative engagement and linguistic accessibility is crucial to support children’s language development and reading comprehension.

Implementing REST in modern applications, security will be a key foundation for its development because the REST architecture requires communication between servers. In this study, we will enhance REST request security by using SHA-1 tokens and the Keccak algorithm. Tokens are the access keys for making requests. The token generation process is carried out on the server; the client will generate a token, and the server will return a valid token. This valid token can be used to request data from the server. Adding a token will impact the security and speed of REST. The token will be verified by the server and declared valid. If valid, the server will return the data; otherwise, the server will send an error message. Compared to using a token, data security is more assured. Furthermore, adding a token parameter will increase the token verification process, thus increasing the number of processes, which will impact speed. The results of this test show that server data security is better maintained and more secure compared to using a token, because anonymous users cannot access the data. The API access speed without a token is 48.8 milliseconds, while using a SHA-1 token is 62.3 milliseconds, and the Keccak algorithm is 58.9 milliseconds. The time efficiency reduction for implementing the SHA-1 token algorithm is 27.67% or 13.5 milliseconds, and the Keccak algorithm is 26.6% or 10 milliseconds.

Code-switching has become increasingly prevalent in digital communication among Indonesian youth, reflecting complex sociolinguistic dynamics in multilingual contexts. This study investigates code-switching patterns in Indonesian digital native youth's computer-mediated communication (CMC), examining the linguistic structures, social functions, and motivations behind this phenomenon. A mixed-methods approach was employed, analyzing 2,500 social media posts from 150 Indonesian youth aged 18–25 across Instagram, Twitter, and WhatsApp. Quantitative content analysis identified code-switching frequency and patterns, while qualitative thematic analysis explored motivations and functions. Myers-Scotton's Matrix Language Frame model guided the structural analysis. Results revealed that 78.4% of participants engaged in code-switching, with Indonesian-English being the most common pattern (62.3%), followed by Indonesian-Regional Language (23.5%) and trilingual switching (14.2%). Intrasentential switching occurred in 54.7% of cases, while intersentential switching appeared in 31.8%. Five primary functions emerged: identity construction (32.1%), emphasis/intensification (26.4%), topic shifting (18.9%), humor/creativity (14.3%), and lexical gap-filling (8.3%). Code-switching in Indonesian digital communication represents a sophisticated linguistic practice driven by identity negotiation, expressive needs, and technological affordances rather than linguistic deficiency. These findings contribute to understanding multilingual CMC in Southeast Asian contexts and have implications for digital literacy education and language policy.
