Education is one of the main pillars in human resource development, and effective education policies are essential to achieve this goal. This study aims to analyze education policies in Bogor City with an Islamic education approach, which emphasizes moral values, ethics, and character. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques through documentation studies and in-depth interviews. Data were collected from various sources, including regional education policy documents, education evaluation reports, and interviews with education officials, educators, and local community leaders. The results of the study indicate that education policies in Bogor City have integrated several elements of Islamic education, such as an emphasis on noble morals, student character development, and the creation of a conducive learning environment. However, this study also identified several challenges in implementing the policy, including the lack of training for educators on the application of Islamic values in teaching, the uneven distribution of educational resources, and the lack of community participation in the education process. Further analysis revealed that existing education policies do not fully reflect the principles of holistic Islamic education, which should include spiritual, intellectual, and social aspects. This study recommends the need to strengthen the curriculum based on Islamic character education, increase training and professional development for educators, and increase collaboration between the government, schools, and the community in creating a more conducive educational environment. Thus, it is hoped that education policies in Bogor City can be more effective in forming a generation that is not only academically intelligent, but also has a deep understanding of Islamic values, is able to contribute positively to society, and becomes a role model in everyday behavior.

Religious education and character education are two related concepts. In its application, Al-Quran teaching plays a very important role in shaping children's character through guidance, continuous education and advice to instill religious, independent and communicative qualities in them from an early age. The aim of this research is to develop the implementation of religious character in higher education religious activities. The research methodology used is qualitative. With religious education that teaches the art of reading the Koran and its translations, the role of Taman Al-Coran (TPQ) is very important in forming the character of babies from an early age. Apart from that, there are other religious practices, such as memorizing short poetry and daily prayers, which can indirectly provide Islamic life lessons. However, a child's character must also be shaped and guided by his family so that he grows into a good person.  The application of religious character in religious activities takes the form of participation in what are called "testimony and prayer activities" (Dhuha), direct direction of tahfidz, tilawati, and Friday blessing activities carried out in the context of santri activities. develop religious character. There is a positive correlation, meaning that there is a positive influence of religious activities on students' religious character. Religious activities are a useful means of developing and practicing religious character. Character development through positive habits will give birth to the habit of appreciating lessons, values, thoughts, ideology, or even doctrine, so that it becomes a belief and fosters a sense of self-awareness of reality or normative values that appear in actions and attitudes. With the aim of being applicable to all schools in Indonesia, this research has implications for the growth of religious character in education.

This research method is the Quasi Experimental Design method using a Nonequivalent Control Design. The instrument used in this research was a test with 30 items. Research data for the questionnaire was analyzed using the average difference test formula (N-Gain Score). It was found that the average value for the experimental class was 0.6370 in the medium category, while the average value for the control class was 0.2531. in the low category so it is known that increasing the Learning Activeness of Class VIII Christian Religious Education and Character Education students at SMP Negeri 2 Pollung for the 2023/2024 academic year is more effective using the Reciprocal Teaching model than using conventional treatment. Then carrying out an independent test using the t test obtained a value of t = 7.040 > t table (α = 0.05; df = 58) = 2,000. Thus, it can be concluded that the research hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is a difference in the learning activity of students before and after learning with the Reciprocal Teaching Model in Learning Christian Religious Education and Character Education for Class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Pollung for the 2023/2024 Academic Year and H0 is rejected.

Eco-Play is a creative learning activity designed for elementary school students to introduce the concept of environmental sustainability through the activity of coloring and recycling plastic bottles into plant pots. In this program, children are encouraged to explore their creativity by decorating used plastic bottles using paint and various eco-friendly materials.
