This article aims to explain why ‘religious moderation’ is essential in preventing intolerance and extremism in Indonesia. This study employs a library research method, including books, journals, encyclopaedias, and dictionaries. The findings of this study indicate that ‘religious moderation’ has the potential to keep religious values relevant and meaningful over time. In conclusion, an important and aligned religious vision and mission can create beauty, peace, brotherhood, and unity in social diversity through ‘religious moderation’. Therefore, there is an urgent need to encourage ‘religious moderation’, namely: religion must be understood and applied to free humans from extreme attitudes and actions that can damage humanity. In this view, religion should not be used as a tool to justify destructive actions. Instead, religion should be a source of creative inspiration that can improve the quality of human life everywhere.

This research aims to describe the planning, implementation and evaluation of instilling religious and moral values ​​in Mardhotilah Kindergarten, Gunung Kembang Village, Sarolangun District Jambi. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research conducted in kindergarten with the research subjects being the school principal, teachers and children. Data collection was carried out using interview, observation and documentation techniques. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. Data validity is carried out by triangulating sources and techniques. The research results show; 1) Planning is made by the teacher as a religious team which is arranged into a Semester (Prosem), Weekly Program Plan (RPPM) specifically for instilling religious and moral values, which is divided into seven aspects, namely, aqidah, akhlaq, worship, memorizing letters, memorizing prayers/hadith, Al-Qur'an signals, and mahfudhot; and RPPH. 2) In its implementation, instilling religious and moral values ​​uses various methods, including the habituation method, the example method, the field trip method, the storytelling method and the play method which are applied in various activities carried out by children from the time the child arrives at school until the child returns home from school; 3) Evaluation is carried out through observation assessments, anecdotal notes and portfolios for semester report cards as well as follow-up programs in the form of enrichment; 4) If there are non-Muslim students, the school gives students the option to choose other universal subjects.

This article discusses the theological foundations of Christian religious education, which not only includes understanding religious concepts, but also shapes a person's character and spirituality. This theological foundation is strengthened by biblical principles, where Christian religious teachings are seen as an important mission based on the great mission of the Lord Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20. This foundation places the Bible as the highest authority and main source of truth and elevates the character of Jesus Christ as the main example. understand the theological basis of Christian religious teachings. The research results show that the aim of Christian religious education is to develop human potential according to the teachings of the Bible, with a focus on developing character, values ​​and spirituality according to the teachings of Christ. The Bible is considered. the highest authority in all areas of life, including Christian education, and is the basis of Christian religious education. The character of Jesus Christ who was caring, merciful, humble and lived a simple life is an example for Christians in their daily lives. Moreover, this article also helps develop individual spirituality. The teachings of Christianity, whose main focus is awareness of a transcendent relationship with God. The role of the Holy Spirit is also considered important to strengthen understanding of Bible teachings and guide Christians to live according to God's will.

This article explores the role of religious education in shaping students' moral development through a comparative analysis of different educational systems. By examining the curricula and pedagogical approaches in various cultural and religious contexts, the study identifies commonalities and differences in how moral values are taught. The findings highlight the importance of integrating universal ethical principles alongside religious teachings to nurture well-rounded individuals. 

The growing environmental crisis underscores the need for education systems to foster ecological responsibility among students. This study explores the potential for multifaith schools to cultivate environmental moral education through an interreligious pedagogical model. By integrating diverse religious teachings on ecology, the proposed model aims to promote shared moral values for environmental protection and sustainability. The research addresses the gap in existing environmental education, which often lacks an integrated approach that incorporates various religious perspectives. Through a qualitative research design, the study analyzes curricula, observes classroom practices, conducts interviews with educators, and evaluates existing environmental education frameworks in multifaith schools. The study identifies key strategies, including the incorporation of eco-ethics from different religious traditions, project-based learning, and interfaith dialogues, as effective means of fostering ecological responsibility. However, challenges such as balancing doctrinal differences, overcoming biases, and developing inclusive pedagogy remain. The study emphasizes the importance of designing educational content that respects all faiths and promotes intercultural dialogue, thereby encouraging a collective commitment to sustainability. The findings suggest that multifaith schools can serve as powerful platforms for environmental moral education, highlighting the value of integrating religious perspectives into sustainability education. The study concludes with recommendations for incorporating interreligious eco-ethics into curricula and teacher training programs and suggests future research on the long-term impact of interreligious environmental education and its applicability in diverse cultural contexts.

This research aims to reveal the history and changes in the implementation procession in the village medical tradition during the month of Muharram, in Kalang Bahu Hamlet, Jawai Laut Village, South Jawai District. The research method used is the historical research method and consists of the following elements; heuristics (data collection); verification (source criticism); interpretation (interpretation of sources); and historiography (writing). The results of the research show that the village medical tradition is a religious tradition, an expression of gratitude for the blessings that God has bestowed upon us, and a tradition of asking God for help to always provide safety and keep us away from danger. The village medical tradition in Kalang Bahu Hamlet underwent a process of change so that it was divided into three periods, the first period 1950-1973, the second period 1973-1983, and the third period 1983-Present. The changes that occur in village medical traditions are caused by the increasing development of people's understanding of religious teachings. Apart from that, the village medical tradition has values ​​contained in it such as religious values, mutual cooperation, solidarity and tolerance.

This study examines the implementation of Qur’anic values in the services of Umrah pilgrims at Safarindo Albarokah Umroh using a Living Qur’an approach based on QS. An-Nahl: 90. The verse emphasizes three core values: ‘adl (justice), ihsan (excellence), and ita’ dzil qurba (social care), which serve as guiding principles in service management. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings show that all three values have been systematically implemented in administrative services, religious guidance, accompaniment in the Holy Land, and post-travel services. The value of ‘adl is reflected in transparent pricing and fair treatment of pilgrims, ihsan is demonstrated through excellent, responsive, and continuous service, while ita’ dzil qurba is realized through social programs such as scholarships for underprivileged pilgrims and special services for elderly and disabled pilgrims. This study concludes that Safarindo Albarokah Umroh integrates Qur’anic values into its operational system, contributing to the development of Living Qur’an studies in Islamic business practices.

The application of the active learning strategy in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) has gained attention due to its ability to enhance deep understanding of the subject matter. This study aims to analyze the impact of active learning on students' understanding of IRE material in the classroom. Using a qualitative research method through a literature review, this study examines various relevant sources on the concept and strategies of active learning and its effects on students' religious understanding. The findings indicate that active learning increases student engagement, deepens their understanding of Islamic values, and develops critical and analytical thinking skills. However, the implementation of this strategy faces challenges, such as time constraints, limited resources, and the readiness of both teachers and students. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of adopting an active approach in IRE teaching to create more meaningful and relevant learning experiences.

Constitutional amendments in Muslim-majority countries, including Indonesia, often face political challenges, constitutional conflicts, and harmonisation between sharia principles and democratic values and civil liberties. This process reflects the complex socio-political dynamics of achieving a balance between tradition and modernity. This research aims to understand these challenges from an Islamic perspective, identify factors that influenced the amendment process, and explore the integration of Islamic principles with democratic values within a reformist constitutional framework. Using a qualitative approach and analysing relevant documents and literature studies, as well as conducting interviews with legal, political and religious experts, this research highlights the political tensions and conflicts related to human rights, governance structures, minority rights and religion. Despite challenges, there are opportunities to mediate sharia principles with democracy through constructive dialogue and compromise. collaborative learning -based aqidah akhlak learning system in improving students' social skills. In the era of globalization, social skills are one of the important aspects in the formation of students. Collaborative learning not only focuses on academic achievement but also on the development of communication skills, cooperation, and empathy. The method used in this study is library research from various sources related to the research topic. Data collection is carried out through studies, research, analysis of scientific articles, books, journals or magazines and electronic sources related to collaborative learning-based aqidah akhlak learning . The data is then analyzed descriptively. Results from review library research shows that collaborative learning is an approach that emphasizes cooperation between students in groups to achieve common learning goals. Collaborative learning strategies in Islamic religious education are approaches that prioritize interaction and cooperation between students to achieve a deeper and more holistic understanding of the teaching material. Well-designed learning will make it easy to overcome behavior in students. The application of collaborative learning not only improves students' understanding of the concept of aqidah and akhlak, but also strengthens their social skills. The importance of social interaction, student involvement actively in the learning process, discussing, and working together in solving case studies of the concept of aqidah and akhlak. By implementing the method, it can be an effective strategy in improving student cooperation and students are better able to understand the material of aqidah and akhlak in depth and apply Islamic values in everyday life and can be applied more widely in Educational context religion Islam.

The challenges of millennials cover various aspects such as economy, employment, property ownership and leadership. In the world of work, millennials are often associated with stigmatization in the workplace and cross-generational differences in working styles, which can be challenging. Millennials also value their own experiences and strengths, so they need to focus on that. This research uses a qualitative approach. This article uses library inquiry techniques, or library investigation, to copy data and understand theories found in relevant literature. The data used for this purpose is undoubtedly a precedent study of related arguments, such as libraries, journals, and scientific articles. Christian Religious Education (CHE) plays a crucial role in holistic education. Through PAK, millennials are guided to cultivate Christian values such as love, peace, honesty and justice. It also plays a role in shaping a moral and virtuous character based on the example of Jesus Christ. In today's digital era, Christian Religious Education (CHE) needs to adapt to the technology used in students' lives. This is important to ensure that learning is not boring and can engage students. In addition, Christian Religious Education should also shape students' self-image according to the values of biblical truth. In this way, students can develop a strong character based on Christian faith. PAK in its ministry should encourage every believer, from children to adults, so that they can use and optimize their intelligence/knowledge for the common good Christian Religious Education (CHE) in the modern era faces the challenge of educating the millennial generation which has unique characteristics. This generation is accustomed to technology and has high self-confidence. Therefore, PAK needs to adapt to the technology used in students' lives to ensure that learning is not boring and engaging. In addition, PAK should focus on building students' self-awareness according to the values of Biblical truth and Christian Religious education teaching. This is important to help students develop a strong character based on the Christian faith. In this way, PAK can have a positive impact on the millennial generation and help them become people of faith and morals in an increasingly modern world.

By using this qualitative research method the author tries to describe the results of the research by collecting data that supports the research using articles and books related to the title exploring spiritual meaning in the Christian Religious Education curriculum. Spiritual meaning in the context of Christian religious education includes understanding and practice which aims to bring students to know and understand God's will, as well as develop their spirituality through contextual and transformative education, by imitating the teachings of Jesus Christ. Creativity in delivering digital catechesis plays an important role in building meaningful experiences for people in the modern era. This research uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and participant observation. In this article, we discuss how creativity can enrich the religious experience of individuals, especially the younger generation who are accustomed to technology. The use of digital media allows catechesis to be more interesting and easy to remember. In addition, this article highlights the importance of compiling catechetical materials that are relevant, touching, and inspiring. By utilizing technology well and wisely, churches and catechetical teachers can create space for reflection, dialogue, and deeper spiritual growth. Creativity in digital catechesis is not only about introducing religious values in a modern way, but also building a strong connection between individuals and their spiritual beliefs. Thus, creativity in delivering digital catechesis allows people to experience a deeper, more meaningful and relevant religious experience in the ever-changing digital era.

This research aims to explain to us the importance of Christian religious education theology in shaping children's character. By being based on moral values ​​and religious principles, Christian religious education provides a solid foundation for children's spiritual growth. Through a deep understanding of love, compassion, integrity, and responsibility, children can develop strong and responsible characters in the future. The research method used is literature analysis from theological and educational sources, as well as tracing empirical studies that support the relationship between Christian religious education and the formation of children's character. The results of this research indicate that Christian religious education plays a key role in shaping children's character, by providing a sustainable moral framework for their growth and development. The practical implication of this research is the importance of integrating religious values ​​in children's education to ensure sustainable and holistic character formation.

Philosophy is a method of thinking systematically and critically. In relation to Christian religious education, it must be studied systematically and critically as a basic science so that it can be on par with other sciences that show real benefits for the development of humanity. The author will describe Christian Religious Education as an ontological, epistemological and axiological practice of science. The method used in this research is a literature study approach. Ontologically, Christian religious education must be a strong guide towards the journey of human life so that he is able to exist and exist both theologically and socially. Epistemology talks about knowledge. Epistemologically, the Bible and Jesus are sources of epistemology for Christian religious education. Axiology talks about utility value. The axiological foundation of Christian religious education is a loving humanism that is imbued with Christian values. The type of research used is qualitative research and the methods used are case study and observation methods. The results of the analysis show that there are several signs and symbols related to the identity of the Indonesian nation both of symbols that are visible in real terms or have visualization, as well as in appreciation of values through behavior and actions, especially symbols and signs related to the Indonesian nation identity in the form of Pancasila and diversity. The purpose of this research is to enable students to understand and grow in Christ, so that they can achieve spiritual maturity and be protected from the negative influences of their environment on their faith. The method used is qualitative, where every observed phenomenon in society is described in detail. Data are collected through observation, books, PDF, journals, and documentation. The results of the research show the importance of teaching the divine aspects of Christ in the curriculum of Christian Religious Education.

This research discusses the effect of the storytelling method conducted by Sunday School teachers on the understanding of the Bible in children aged 3-6 years.  The decline of attitude in early childhood is a cause for concern. This decline in attitude is caused by one of the problems, namely the lack of understanding of the Bible. The lack of teaching the Bible to children from an early age is a matter of concern. The storytelling method is a learning approach that prioritizes narratives or stories as the main medium in the religious learning process. Through interesting and interactive narratives, this method aims to increase children's understanding, engagement, creativity, and cognition, as well as forming positive attitudes towards religion and transferring moral values. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach by collecting data from various literature sources related to the research topic. Data analysis was conducted systematically using a qualitative approach to generate new insights that can increase understanding of existing knowledge. The results showed that the storytelling method had a significant impact in several aspects. Firstly, it increases children's engagement in religious learning, allowing them to be actively involved and building a strong interest in the Bible. Second, it influences the growth of children's positive attitude towards religion, positively shaping their character and morality. Third, the storytelling method facilitates a deeper understanding of the Bible, allowing children to internalize the spiritual and moral values contained in the Bible stories. Fourth, it helps in the development of children's language and cognitive skills, enriching their learning experience. Fifth, the storytelling method facilitates the transfer of moral values, allowing children to understand moral concepts and develop attitudes that are in line with religious teachings. So, the storytelling method practiced by Sunday School teachers has a significant impact on the understanding of the Bible in children aged 3-6 years. This approach is not just about transferring knowledge, but also about shaping the child's character, morality and attitude towards religion. Therefore, it is important for religious educators to consider using the storytelling method in Bible learning for pre-school children in Sunday school.
