This study examines how digital technology can help boost elementary school students’ interest in learning the Indonesian language. As technology continues to influence the way education is delivered, incorporating digital tools into the classroom has become increasingly important. The study examines how interactive learning techniques, including educational games, digital storytelling, and multimedia presentations, can enhance the engagement and enjoyment of language learning for elementary students. A qualitative descriptive methodology was used, with data collected through interviews with both teachers and students, classroom observations, and the review of relevant documents. The results indicate that digital technology significantly contributes to increasing students' motivation, participation, and curiosity. Interactive digital tools foster a more lively and enjoyable learning atmosphere, making it easier for students to grasp and relate to the content. Teachers also reported that students became more active during lessons and demonstrated improved comprehension and vocabulary usage. The study concludes that integrating digital technology into Indonesian language lessons can shift traditional teaching methods toward more student-centered and engaging learning. It is recommended that schools invest in proper digital infrastructure and provide training for teachers to fully benefit from interactive learning approaches

The purpose of this study was to illuminate how students understand various types of sentences, especially single sentences, compound sentences, and compound sentences, and to develop and implement flipbooks as a learning aid in grade V of SD Negeri 12 Kota Langsa. This study was conducted through a qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation to collect data. The results showed that conventional learning methods and the lack of interactive media caused most students to still have difficulty in distinguishing the structure and use of sentence types. There is evidence that the use of visual and interactive flipbook media can improve students' understanding and encourage them to actively participate in the learning process. Flipbooks are able to create a more interesting and meaningful learning environment, despite technical constraints such as limited digital devices. This study found that flipbooks are an effective alternative for teaching Indonesian to elementary school students by improving their language skills.

To improve the understanding of fifth grade elementary school students about the material of free morphemes and bound morphemes, this type of research is research and development (R&D). The results of the preliminary study showed that there was no learning media that facilitated learning and that students did not understand free morphemes and bound morphemes. Based on these findings, the author plans to create an illustrated e-book called "The Adventures of Bound and Free Morphemes" to improve students' understanding in fifth grade elementary school. The results of the validation of the first material expert and media expert showed that the e-book received a score of 70.7% and was included in the category. Thus, it can be concluded that the e-book is valid and practical to use to improve students' understanding.

Mathematical connection ability is a crucial competence that should be developed from the elementary level, as it helps students understand the interrelationships between mathematical concepts and their applications in daily life. This study aims to analyze the mathematical connection abilities of first-grade elementary school students in learning flat shapes. The research employed a descriptive quantitative method using cognitive and psychomotor assessment instruments. The cognitive test consisted of multiple-choice and essay questions measuring students' ability to recognize, understand, classify, and apply flat shapes. The psychomotor test involved tasks such as assembling flat shapes into meaningful objects and classifying shapes by type. The results showed that students were fairly capable of identifying and grouping flat shapes, but had difficulty explaining classification reasons or relating shapes to real-life objects. The psychomotor results also indicated that fine motor skills and the ability to make real-world connections need improvement. These findings highlight the importance of contextual learning approaches and the use of concrete media to strengthen students’ mathematical connections from an early age.

This research aims to examine the influence of the school environment on the character development of elementary school students through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The main focus is on the role of teachers and the condition of the school environment as important factors in the formation of students' character, especially amid the challenges of technological development and digitalization. Five relevant articles from 2021-2025 were systematically analyzed to obtain a comprehensive overview. The study findings show that a safe, inclusive and supportive school environment, as well as teachers who serve as positive role models, are helpful in creating values such as discipline, responsibility, honesty and social responsibility. However, this process still faces obstacles such as lack of teacher training, limited time in the curriculum, and high academic pressure. Therefore, collaboration between teachers, schools and parents is needed to create a learning environment that supports optimal character development.

This study aims to analyze the abilities and challenges of grade IV elementary school students in writing argumentative sentences. The research was conducted with a qualitative approach of case study methods on ten students in one of the public elementary schools in Jambi City. Data were obtained through an argumentative sentence writing test and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of the study show that students' ability to write argumentative sentences still varies. Most of the students have been able to convey their opinions in a concise and relevant manner, but there are still obstacles in the mechanical aspects of writing such as the use of spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure. These findings show the need for a learning strategy that can develop argumentative writing skills systematically and logically. Toulmin's pattern-based approach and collaborative learning models such as Group Investigation are recommended to improve students' overall argumentative writing skills from the elementary school level.

Misconseption are errors in understanding concepts than often occur in the context of science learning, particulary on the greenhouse effect, this study aims to address student’s misconceptions by implementing thePredict-Observe-Explain (POE) learning model in grade VI elementary school students. The study employed the Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) method based on the kemmis and McTggart model, which consists of four main stage: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The reseach subjek consisted of students from grade VI from SDN 13 Cingkariang. Data wewre Collected using Questionnaires and analyzed quantitatively based on pre-test and post-test result. The findings revealed the prior to that application of the POE model, only 15% of students had agoog understnading of the greenhouse effect, while 40% had partial understanding, and 45% did not understand the concept at all. After implementing the POE model, student’s understanding improve significantly, with 70% able to make accurate predictions. 80% actively involved in observation, ang 35% able to explain the greenhouse effect comprehensively. The implementation of the POE model has proven to be effective in correcting misconcepsions and improving student’s understanding through active and exploratory learning.

This study aims to analyze intensive reading skills among fifth-grade elementary school students. Intensive reading is a vital skill that supports information comprehension and serves as a foundation for mastering other subjects. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using a case study method. Data were collected through direct observation, audio recordings, and document analysis of previous reading assessment results. Evaluation involved cognitive tests with multiple-choice questions and psychomotor observations while students read texts independently. The findings reveal variations in intensive reading skills among students, particularly in understanding text content, organizing ideas, diction accuracy, sentence structure, spelling, and note-taking ability. Most students could grasp the main idea and identify the plot well; however, challenges remained in using appropriate diction, maintaining consistent sentence structure, and achieving accuracy in spelling and note-taking. These results highlight the need for more effective teaching strategies to improve students’ intensive reading skills. This study is expected to contribute positively to the development of Indonesian language learning methods at the elementary level, better preparing students to face increasingly complex academic challenges.

This study aims to identify and describe the most effective teaching strategies in improving level 3 fluent reading skills in lower grade elementary school students. Level 3 fluent reading skills include the ability to read at an appropriate speed, expressive intonation, and good comprehension of reading content. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, this study explores and analyzes various learning techniques that have been proven to support the improvement of reading fluency in early childhood. The research findings reveal that the application of explicit teaching methods, repetition in reading exercises, the use of paired reading techniques, the use of reading texts with levels of difficulty, and active involvement from parents, can synergistically encourage the development of students' reading skills significantly. This study provides important contributions both theoretically and practically, especially for educators, in designing systematic, comprehensive, and sustainable reading learning programs to improve students' literacy competencies from an early age.
