Bekasam, a traditional Indonesian fermented fish product, is produced through a natural fermentation process involving complex microbial communities, particularly fermentative bacteria. These microorganisms play a vital role in developing the product’s characteristic flavor, aroma, and texture. This study aimed to identify the morphological characteristics of fermentative bacteria present in bekasam made from Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) using direct microscopic observation without staining. Fresh samples of bekasam were collected and subjected to serial dilution before being cultured on nutrient agar (NA) medium. The cultures were incubated at room temperature for 24–48 hours to allow colony formation. Morphological examination was carried out by observing the colonies directly under a light microscope to assess cell shape, size, and arrangement. The results demonstrated a diversity of bacterial morphologies, with the majority consisting of rod-shaped (bacillus) and spherical (coccus) forms. Bacillus cells were often observed singly or in short chains, whereas coccus cells appeared either as single units, in pairs (diplococci), or forming short chains (streptococci). The morphological diversity observed suggests that multiple bacterial species may be involved in the fermentation process, each contributing differently to biochemical transformations such as protein degradation, lactic acid production, and flavor compound formation. Although morphological characterization alone cannot provide definitive bacterial identification, these findings serve as preliminary data for subsequent microbiological and molecular analyses. Further research using biochemical tests and molecular approaches, such as 16S rRNA gene sequencing, is recommended to confirm species identity and to explore their specific roles in fermentation. Understanding the microbial composition of bekasam can provide valuable insights for optimizing fermentation conditions, improving product consistency, and ensuring safety in traditional fish-based fermented foods.

This study aims to determine audience perceptions of the Instagram Reels advertisement content of Wardah Matte Lip Cream "Tasya Farasya Approved" edition. This advertisement is the result of a collaboration between the local cosmetics brand Wardah and the famous beauty influencer Tasya Farasya. This phenomenon is interesting to study considering the trend of influencer-based marketing is increasingly dominant in beauty product promotion strategies, especially in building emotional closeness with consumers and maintaining loyalty to local brands. Consumer perception is an important aspect because it will influence purchasing interest, brand image, and future purchasing decisions. This study uses the perception theory from Jalaludin Rakhmat (2015) which explains that perception is a person's experience of an object or phenomenon obtained through the process of processing, interpreting, and drawing conclusions from the information received. Based on this theory, this study adopted a quantitative descriptive approach. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who are followers of Wardah's official Instagram account. Respondents were selected using purposive sampling to ensure the relevance of the data to the research focus. Descriptive data analysis was conducted using SPSS software to identify audience perception patterns regarding advertising content elements, such as visual appeal, message relevance, influencer credibility, and the product image's alignment with Wardah's brand image. This analysis is expected to reveal the extent to which brand and beauty influencer collaborations can create positive perceptions in consumers' minds. The research findings are expected to contribute to the development of digital marketing strategies in the cosmetics industry, particularly in utilizing influencer marketing effectively. Furthermore, the findings of this study can serve as a reference for other local brands in designing promotional campaigns that are relevant, engaging, and aligned with the characteristics of their target audience on social media.

This research is motivated by the low level of community participation in the process of forming Village Regulations in Sukamantri Village, Ciawi District, Tasikmalaya Regency, which has resulted in less than optimal public involvement in decision-making at the village level. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of community participation in the formation of Village Regulations and to identify inhibiting factors and efforts made by the village government to increase such participation. This study uses a qualitative method with 11 informants consisting of village officials, community leaders, and villagers. Data were collected through literature studies, observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively by processing information from interviews and observations to draw conclusions. The results of the study indicate that community participation in the formation of Village Regulations in Sukamantri Village is still not optimal. The main obstacles faced include limited implementation time which results in some community members being unable to attend official forums, low legal literacy and understanding of the importance of involvement in village policy formulation, ineffective mechanisms for conveying aspirations, and the dominance of certain figures in the decision-making process which limits the representation of all elements of society. To overcome these obstacles, the village government has undertaken various efforts, including expanding outreach through neighborhood associations (RT/RW) and social media, opening additional discussion forums at the hamlet level, and involving various community groups, including women and youth, in village meetings. These efforts are expected to increase community awareness, involvement, and satisfaction with the Village Regulation drafting process, so that in the future, Village Regulation drafting can be more transparent, inclusive, and able to accommodate the aspirations of all levels of society.

This study aims to examine in-depth the forms and types of clauses that appear in everyday conversations on social media, particularly on the Facebook platform. The focus of the study is directed at how social media users form and use clauses in online interactions, and their implications for message comprehension. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques consisting of observations of conversations and interactions between users. The collected data are then analyzed to identify patterns, variations, and characteristics of the clauses used. The results show that the language forms used tend to be non-standard, for example, short sentences, omissions of subject or predicate elements, and the use of informal vocabulary. However, these variations do not hinder the understanding of messages between users. Instead, the use of these forms reflects users' adaptation to the nature of online communication, which demands speed and efficiency. This phenomenon demonstrates the flexibility of language that is constantly evolving in response to changes in social and technological contexts. The research findings confirm that language dynamics in the digital era not only influence clause form and structure but also enrich the variety of contemporary Indonesian discourse. This has important implications for education, particularly in language learning. By understanding the role of clauses in online communication, educators can adapt teaching methods to be more relevant to the linguistic realities faced by students. This research contributes to the study of sociolinguistics and digital communication, while also opening up opportunities for further research. Future, more in-depth studies could explore the influence of online interactions on language development, the relationship between language and culture, and how technology shapes communication patterns in society.

This study discusses the symbolic meaning contained in the use of figurative language in the poetry anthology Selamat Menunaikan Ibadah Puisi by Joko Pinurbo. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a semiotic analysis method as a theoretical basis, which allows researchers to interpret the signs and symbols in the poetic texts in depth. The results of the study show that the figurative language in the poems does not only function as rhetorical decoration or mere linguistic ornamentation, but has a strong and essential symbolic function in conveying hidden messages and the poet's inner emotions. Symbols such as "storm", "refrigerator", "twilight", "window", "door", "river", and others are not only concrete images, but convey deep meanings related to inner suffering, past memories, the search for self-identity, feelings of alienation, and the search for the universal meaning of life. In addition, this study also identifies various types of figurative language used by Joko Pinurbo in the anthology, including metaphor, simile, personification, hyperbole, synecdoche, paradox, and irony. All types of figurative language are skillfully used to enrich the meaning of poetry and deepen the aesthetic experience of readers, allowing them to feel and reproduce the messages hidden behind the words. Thus, this study confirms that the use of figurative language in poetry is not only a literary technique, but also a powerful medium of expression and a means of communicating complex meanings in modern literary works. This study discusses the symbolic meaning contained in the use of figurative language in the poetry anthology Selamat Menunaikan Ibadah Puisi by Joko Pinurbo. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a semiotic analysis method as a theoretical basis, which allows researchers to interpret the signs and symbols in the poetic text in depth.

Ridan Permai Village, within the Bangkinang City Community Health Center (Puskesmas) jurisdiction in Kampar Regency, faces a serious problem related to adolescents' lack of access to health information and services, particularly regarding reproductive health. Survey results revealed that adolescents rarely receive regular health education or checkups, even though they are a vulnerable group to various health problems and behavioral disorders due to their identity-searching phase. The lack of reproductive health education in schools and the community also exacerbates this situation, leading adolescents to tend to obtain information from invalid or incorrect sources. Through the Community Service (PKM) program, a team of lecturers and students conducted a series of activities at SMPN 1 Padang to increase adolescents' knowledge and awareness of reproductive health. Three main approaches were used: direct education, outreach through interactive discussions, and distribution of leaflets as a continuous information medium. In addition, a question-and-answer session provided a space for students to openly share their questions and experiences without embarrassment. This approach was designed to create a participatory, educational atmosphere. These activities aimed not only to increase adolescents' knowledge but also to empower them to prevent the risk of health problems and behavioral disorders. The expected outcome of this activity is increased understanding of reproductive health among adolescents, as well as the formation of collective awareness for maintaining health and positive behaviors among adolescents. Sustainability of the program is also being pursued by involving teachers and school officials as partners in health education. This activity is also expected to serve as an educational model that can be replicated in other schools in Kampar Regency.

Biodiversity is a combination of the number of species and the number of individuals of each species in a community, one of which is in the Lichen group. Lichen is a form of mutualistic symbiosis between fungi and algae that morphologically and physiologically form a whole unit to produce new, unique individuals. This organism has an important role in the ecosystem, such as indicators of environmental quality, nutrient cycles, and soil surface cover. However, data on the diversity of Lichen species, especially in Geothermal areas, is still very limited so that information on their distribution and composition in the area is not optimal. This study aims to analyze the diversity index of Lichen species in the Jaboi Hot Spring area, Sukajaya District, Sabang City. The study was conducted in June 2025 using a combination of exploratory survey methods to determine research stations and transect line boundaries, as well as purposive sampling methods for Lichen sampling. Data were analyzed using the Shannon-Wiener diversity index (Ĥ). The results showed that there were 17 Lichen species belonging to 11 families with a total of 2027 colonies found in all observation stations. The obtained diversity index value was Ĥ = 2.819214, which is recommended as moderate diversity. These findings indicate that although the Jaboi Hot Springs area has unique environmental conditions due to geothermal activity, it still supports a diverse range of lichen species. This information is expected to form the basis for further research on lichen ecology, biodiversity conservation, and its potential use in geothermal areas. Furthermore, the results of this study can make important contributions to environmental management and bioindicator-based ecosystem quality monitoring.

Free trade provides significant opportunities for developing countries to increase exports, expand market access, and drive economic growth. Through engagement in global markets, products and services can reach a wider range of consumers, creating the potential for increased national income. However, global economic integration also presents serious challenges, particularly in terms of the protection of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). As national boundaries in economic activity become increasingly blurred, intellectual property—including patents, trademarks, industrial designs, copyrights, and trade secrets—becomes increasingly vulnerable to infringement. Common forms of infringement include piracy, counterfeiting of branded products, and theft of technology or innovation. These practices not only harm creators or rights owners but can also hinder the development of innovation, reduce industrial competitiveness, and undermine consumer confidence. Adequate IPR protection requires a combination of strong national regulations and an effective international legal framework. Instruments such as the TRIPS (Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights) Agreement under the WTO provide global standards to which compliance must be adhered, but implementation at the national level is crucial for their success. Weak or inconsistent law enforcement can open the door to violations that harm both domestic and foreign businesses. Beyond legal aspects, effective IPR protection also impacts the investment climate. Investors tend to invest in countries that can guarantee the security of their intellectual assets. Therefore, IPR protection is not only a legal issue but also a long-term economic development strategy. Therefore, in the era of free trade, developing countries need to balance market openness with strengthening IPR protection systems to create a conducive environment for innovation, sustainable economic growth, and public welfare.

Electronic commerce (e-commerce) has become a dominant trend in modern buying and selling transactions, offering easy access and efficiency. Marketplaces like Shopee act as intermediaries between merchants and buyers, providing fast, secure, and integrated transaction facilities. However, behind this convenience, significant legal issues arise, particularly regarding unilateral transaction cancellations by buyers through the refund feature. In practice, these refund requests are generally approved by the marketplace without thorough verification of the validity of the cancellation reason or the existence of the goods already shipped by the merchant. This study aims to analyze the legality of unilateral cancellations by buyers from the perspective of Indonesian civil law, with reference to the provisions of the Civil Code (KUHPerdata) and the concept of electronic contracts as stipulated in the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE). The study uses a normative juridical approach by examining laws and regulations, legal literature, and analyzing two case studies involving merchants BZS and HK. The results indicate that unilateral cancellations by buyers without returning the goods constitute a form of breach of contract. This action not only violates the electronic contractual agreement established during the transaction but also causes financial and reputational harm to merchants. This phenomenon indicates weak legal protection for business actors in the e-commerce ecosystem, particularly regarding the bargaining power between sellers, buyers, and marketplace platforms. Therefore, strengthening fair and transparent digital dispute resolution mechanisms is necessary, including preventive legal protection to prevent losses and repressive protection to provide redress for injured parties. This step is crucial for realizing a healthy, balanced, and equitable digital trade ecosystem for all parties involved.

This study examines the legal liability of a Limited Liability Company (LLC) before and after bankruptcy, with a focus on the roles of the board of directors, board of commissioners, and the curator appointed by the Commercial Court. Prior to bankruptcy, the liability for the company's obligations rests primarily with the board of directors and the board of commissioners, especially when debts arising from binding agreements remain unpaid. In situations where the company is unable to fulfill its payment obligations, and such inability is confirmed by a final court ruling, responsibility for managing and settling the company’s debts and assets is transferred to a court-appointed curator. The research analyzes the legal framework governing the curator’s authority, which operates under the supervision of a supervisory judge from the Commercial Court. The curator acts as the sole party responsible for handling the bankrupt entity’s obligations to creditors, ensuring compliance with applicable bankruptcy laws. This study uses a normative juridical approach, relying on legislation, case law, and legal doctrine to examine the extent of responsibility at each stage of the bankruptcy process. Special attention is given to the legal considerations of the Central Jakarta Commercial Court in Decisions Number 34/Pdt.Sus-Pailit/2024/PN Niaga Jkt.Pst and Number 38/Pdt.Sus-Pailit/2024/PN Niaga Jkt.Pst. Both rulings are found to be appropriate, as they meet the legal requirements for declaring an LLC bankrupt based on verified facts and circumstances. The findings underscore the importance of distinguishing between pre-bankruptcy liabilities—borne by company management—and post-bankruptcy responsibilities, which are entirely managed by the appointed curator. This clear allocation of responsibility ensures creditor protection, maintains judicial oversight, and upholds the principles of fairness and legal certainty in bankruptcy proceedings

This study aims to describe the types and functions of directive speech acts found in Indonesian language learning interactions at SMP Negeri 3 Gianyar. Employing a descriptive qualitative research design, the data were obtained through note-taking and recording of teacher–student interactions during classroom activities. The analysis followed four main stages: data reduction, data collection, data display, data interpretation, and conclusion drawing. Directive speech acts, which are utterances intended to prompt the listener to perform a specific action, are an essential component of classroom discourse, as they directly influence student participation, classroom management, and instructional clarity. The findings reveal a total of 109 directive speech act utterances produced by both teachers and students. These utterances are categorized into six types: 18 requests, 52 questions, 22 commands, 3 prohibitions, 10 permissions, and 4 pieces of advice. Each type of directive speech act is used to achieve specific communicative purposes. Further analysis identified 11 distinct functions realized within these utterances, namely: requesting, inviting, pleading, asking, wishing, demanding, directing, instructing, prohibiting, permitting, and advising. For instance, teachers predominantly employed questioning and commanding functions to guide learning processes, check comprehension, and maintain classroom order, while students tended to use requesting and asking functions to seek clarification or assistance. The results of this research highlight the significant role of directive speech acts in facilitating interactive and goal-oriented communication in the language learning environment. Understanding the types and functions of such speech acts can provide valuable insights for educators in designing effective communication strategies that foster active learning, encourage student engagement, and create a positive classroom atmosphere. This study contributes to the broader field of pragmatics and educational linguistics by emphasizing the practical application of speech act theory in Indonesian language teaching contexts.

This study aims to conduct a critical study of the teaching materials for Islamic Religious Education and Character Building (PABP), specifically on the material "Avoiding Backbiting and Carrying Out Tabayun" used in class VII of SMPIT Takhassus Al-Qur'an Ashabiq. The focus of the study in this study covers several important aspects, namely learning objectives, the material delivered, the learning methods and models applied, evaluation of learning outcomes, and sources and references for teaching materials used by teachers and students. The approach used in this study is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through document studies of teaching materials, observations of the learning process in the classroom, interviews with teachers and students, and data validation is carried out through expert audits to ensure the accuracy of the findings. The results show that the teaching materials used have referred to the principles of the Independent Curriculum and the Pancasila Student Profile, which emphasize the development of character and student competencies as a whole. However, several significant weaknesses were found, especially in terms of integration between learning objectives with learning activities and evaluations carried out. Learning materials are structured in a normative and idealistic manner, but they do not adequately accommodate students' real-life contexts, particularly in facing the challenges of today's digital era, which significantly impact how they understand and internalize religious values. Learning evaluation is still dominated by cognitive measures such as written tests and conceptual understanding, while the attitudinal and skill dimensions, which are crucial for character education, have not been optimally measured. Furthermore, the learning resources used are quite limited, relying solely on textbooks and student worksheets (LKS), without any support from contemporary literature or digital media that could enrich the learning process and make it more engaging and relevant to today's students.

Moral and social education in Islam plays a crucial role in shaping children's character, developing noble character and social responsibility. In this context, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) serves as a prime role model, whose behavior and sayings provide comprehensive guidance for the development of character values. This study aims to analyze authentic hadiths depicting the Prophet's interactions with children to uncover key moral and social values that can be integrated into contemporary Islamic education. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with thematic analysis techniques. Data were collected from relevant authentic hadith literature and then analyzed to identify moral values such as honesty, compassion, justice, empathy, and respect for children's rights. The analysis also considered the historical and social context of the hadiths, allowing interpretations of the values to be tailored to current educational needs. The results show that the Prophet Muhammad taught moral and social principles not only through verbal statements but also through concrete examples in his daily life.
