The worsening ecological crisis, such as the floods that hit Parapat, demands a serious response from various elements of society, including religious institutions. This article highlights the role of the Church, particularly Huria Kristen Batak Protestan (HKBP), in caring for nature in Tanah Batak as a form of faith and social responsibility. Using theological and socio-cultural approaches, this study analyzes the contribution of HKBP teachings and Pope Francis' call in the encyclical Laudato Si' to the ecological awareness of the people. It emphasizes that the HKBP doctrine of the wholeness of creation and community-based ecological movements can be transformative solutions to environmental degradation. Through a case study of flooding in Parapat, this article demonstrates the urgency of church involvement in ecological advocacy and environmental education, and the importance of synergy between faith, Batak culture, and concrete action for the sustainability of God's creation. The HKBP's teachings on the wholeness of creation align closely with Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’, which calls for a radical shift in how humanity perceives and interacts with nature. By emphasizing the interconnectedness of all life, the HKBP doctrine encourages its followers to view environmental stewardship not only as a moral obligation but as an essential expression of faith. This view aligns with Pope Francis' call for an "ecological conversion," urging individuals and communities to recognize their role in caring for God's creation. Through the case study of flooding in Parapat, this article illustrates the real-world implications of ecological negligence and the importance of church involvement in ecological advocacy. The HKBP, along with other religious and community-based movements, can spearhead efforts to integrate environmental education into their teachings and local initiatives.

This study aims to analyze the effect of Quick Ratio (QR) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on Return on Assets (ROA), both partially and simultaneously, at PT X during the period 2014–2023. The background of this study is based on the importance of liquidity and capital structure in influencing a company's ability to generate profits. QR is used as an indicator of company liquidity, while DER reflects the proportion of debt usage in the capital structure. ROA is chosen as a measure of profitability because it illustrates the company's effectiveness in utilizing total assets to generate profits. The research method used is a quantitative method. The study population consists of all annual financial reports of PT X, with samples in the form of financial position reports and income statements from 2014 to 2023. Data analysis was carried out through several stages, namely descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, coefficient of determination tests, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing to examine the relationship between variables. The results of the study indicate that partially the Quick Ratio has no significant effect on Return on Assets, with a calculated t value of 1.409 smaller than the t table of 2.365 and a significance value of 0.199 which is greater than 0.05. This finding indicates that the company's liquidity level has not been able to directly increase profitability. Furthermore, the Debt to Equity Ratio is also proven to have no significant effect on Return on Assets. This is indicated by a calculated t value of -2.299 which is smaller than the t table of 2.365 and a significance value of 0.055, still above the 0.05 limit. Thus, the company's capital structure through DER does not have a significant partial contribution to ROA.

This study aims to determine the influence of motivation on employee performance at the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Office of Sidenreng Rappang Regency. Motivation is seen as one of the fundamental factors in human resource development because it can encourage increased work morale, effectiveness, and efficiency in carrying out employee duties and responsibilities. Highly motivated employees will be encouraged to work more disciplined, creative, and productive, so that they can make a positive contribution to the achievement of organizational goals, especially in public service and disaster management.nThis study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sampling technique chosen is a saturated sample, namely all employees and honorary personnel at BPBD Sidenreng Rappang Regency are made respondents. This consideration is made because the population is relatively small so that it can be reached as a whole. The research data was collected using a questionnaire compiled based on indicators of work motivation and employee performance, then analyzed using a simple regression test to determine the relationship and influence between variables.nThe results showed that the calculated t value of 2.167 was greater than the t table of 2.048 at a significance level of 5%. This proves that there is a positive and significant influence between motivation on employee performance. Motivation contributes 15.7% to performance improvement, while the rest is influenced by other factors such as work discipline, work environment, competence, and leadership. Nevertheless, these findings emphasize that motivation continues to play an important role as the main driver of employee performance.nThus, increasing motivation through the provision of awards, incentives, and continuous coaching can be an important strategy in strengthening the quality of performance of BPBD employees in Sidenreng Rappang Regency.

A company's financial performance is one of the main indicators in assessing the health and sustainability of a business entity's operations. Evaluation of financial performance is crucial, especially for large companies operating in strategic sectors such as telecommunications. PT. XL, as a telecommunications company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, requires regular performance assessments to provide a clear picture of the effectiveness of its business strategy and its ability to generate profits. This study aims to analyze PT. XL's financial performance using a profitability ratio approach. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, utilizing secondary data sourced from the company's financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and other financial statements for the 2021–2023 period. The profitability ratios analyzed include Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Gross Profit Margin (GPM), and Earnings Per Share (EPS). These five ratios were chosen because they are able to describe the company's ability to generate profits, both in terms of sales, total assets, and shareholder equity. The analysis results indicate that PT. XL's financial performance during the study period is still less than optimal. This is reflected in the profitability ratio, which is below the average standard for the Indonesian telecommunications industry. This condition indicates that the company has not been able to optimally manage its resources to generate competitive profits. This finding has important implications, namely the need to evaluate financial management strategies, operational cost efficiency, and improve service quality to increase company profitability in the future. Therefore, this study confirms that profitability ratio analysis is a crucial instrument for assessing a company's financial condition and serves as a basis for formulating performance improvement strategies.

Criminal law formulation policy is the initial stage in criminal law politics that establishes legal norms formulated in legislation, including religious offenses. In the National Criminal Code enacted through Law No. 1 Year 2023, this policy is reflected in Article 300 - Article 305 of the National Criminal Code which regulates criminal offenses against religion, belief, and worship. In this case, it is important to analyze how the formulation policy on religious criminal offenses in the National Criminal Code and what are the juridical implications of the formulation policy on religious criminal offenses in the National Criminal Code. The research method used is normative juridical and supported by empirical juridical method. The data used are primary data, secondary data, and tertiary data. The data obtained is then analyzed qualitatively. Based on the results of the research, it is known that in the National Criminal Code passed through Law No. 1 of 2023, In Article 300 to Article 305 of the National Criminal Code, the state attempts to reorganize religious offenses by clarifying the elements of the act and the intention of the perpetrator, thus preventing multiple interpretations and abuse of the law. This formulation also expands the reach of legal protection not only to official religions, but also to public order and diversity of beliefs in society. However, in substance, the juridical implications of the policy formulation of religious criminal articles in the National Criminal Code include higher legal certainty, protection of citizens' constitutional rights, and changes in the orientation of punishment from repressive to more educative and preventive.

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) that is left untreated can lead to serious complications, one of which is hypertension in hemodialysis patients. Intradialytic hypertension can impair quality of life and increase mortality risk. Benson relaxation therapy, which combines breathing techniques with the repetition of positive words, has the potential to lower blood pressure. The purpose of this research is to measured blood pressure during and subsequent to Benson relaxation therapy in hemodialysis patients. This quantitative research employed a pre-experimental methodological approach with a case study approach. The subjects consisted of 3 respondents selected from a population of 24 hemodialysis patients at a hospital. Blood pressure data were collected using a digital sphygmomanometer and analyzed descriptively. After three sessions of Benson relaxation therapy lasting approximately 10 minutes each, systolic blood pressure decreased with the maximum reduction of 18 mmHg and the lowest reduction of 2 mmHg, while diastolic blood pressure decreased with the maximum reduction of 20 mmHg and the lowest reduction of 1 mmHg. Benson relaxation therapy can reduce blood pressure in patients undergoing hemodialysis. Benson relaxation therapy may be considered as a non-pharmacological intervention to help lower blood pressure in hemodialysis patients. These results indicate that Benson relaxation therapy can significantly reduce blood pressure in hemodialysis patients. The therapy’s effectiveness in reducing blood pressure may be attributed to the deep breathing exercises and the relaxation response it induces, which helps to reduce the overall stress on the cardiovascular system.

Background: Half of the 75 million children in Indonesia suffer from dental caries, and the number continues to rise each year. Caries is a disease that involves the enamel, dentin, and pulp of the tooth. If left untreated, it can reach the pulp and cause tooth necrosis. Pulpectomy is a dental procedure that involves removing the entire pulp tissue of deciduous teeth to access the infected root canal. This procedure is crucial to prevent the spread of infection. Post-pulpectomy restoration is essential to ensure the optimal function of the tooth and prevent further damage to the remaining tooth structure. The restoration must have adequate retention, minimal leakage, and not increase the risk of further damage to the remaining tooth structure. Methodology: This study is a qualitative research in the form of a literature review using secondary data collected in August 2024 from five main databases: PubMed, MDPI, ScienceDirect, Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital), and Taylor & Francis. The collected data were then sorted to identify articles relevant to the research criteria. Results and Discussion: Based on the Prisma Diagram Flow, 343 articles were identified from the five databases, which were then filtered down to five articles that met the criteria to be the primary articles in this literature review. The results show that there are various types of post-pulpectomy restorations tailored to the diagnosis and clinical indications of the treated teeth. Conclusion: There are two commonly used types of post-pulpectomy restorations, namely restorations made of Glass Ionomer Cement (GIC) and Stainless Steel Crowns (SSC). Both of these restorations can be modified into space maintainers, which are essential in preserving space for the future growth of permanent teeth while improving the function of the treated tooth.

This study examines the relationship between material mastery and draping practice outcomes among students in the Family Welfare Vocational Education (PVKK) Fashion Design Study Program at PGRI Adi Buana University, Surabaya. Draping, as a technique for making patterns directly on a mannequin or the human body, is an important course in fashion design synchronization. This technique allows students to develop creativity, understand the proportions, shapes, and volumes of fabric, and produce unique works that suit the curves of the body. This study used a quantitative approach by collecting data from 60 student respondents from the 2021 and 2022 intakes through questionnaires and documentation. The variables studied were draping material mastery (independent variable) and draping practice outcomes (dependent variable). The analysis results showed a significant and positive relationship between material mastery and draping practice outcomes. The better the material mastery, the better the students' draping practice outcomes. This emphasizes that a strong theoretical understanding is an important foundation for practical skills, and learning theory and practice must be balanced to optimally improve the quality of student work. These findings have important implications for curriculum development and learning methods in the PVKK Fashion Design Study Program. To support the achievement of optimal practical results, teaching strategies are needed that integrate theory and practice in a more interactive and applicable way. For example, the use of video tutorial-based learning media, digital draping simulations, or project-based learning can strengthen students' understanding while improving their technical skills. Furthermore, increasing the intensity of practice with direct feedback from lecturers has also proven effective in accelerating technical mastery. With a holistic and adaptive learning approach, vocational education institutions can produce graduates who are not only technically competent but also competent.

Myofascial pain syndrome (MPS) is a condition characterized by muscle or fascia pain, involving sensory, motor, or autonomic functions, linked to myofascial trigger points (MTrPs). Motor symptoms can include muscle weakness, limited movement, and stiffness. Sensory symptoms may involve tenderness, referred pain, hyperalgesia, or allodynia, while autonomic symptoms include sweating, changes in skin temperature, and salivation. MPS occurs due to increased sympathetic nervous system activity, which worsens pain. Physical therapy is vital in improving movement and function, with Active Exercise Therapy being a recommended treatment. MPS affects 36% of 431 patients, with pain intensity often developing within a week, and in Indonesia, it reaches 40% within a year. MPS is more common in females than males. Active Exercise Therapy, which can be performed at home or work, is essential for preventing MPS. On July 31, 2025, a community service activity was held at RT VIII Tanjung Mas Village, Semarang Utara, with 29 participants. The event included blood pressure checks, blood sugar tests, BMI measurements, and counseling on the importance of exercise therapy to prevent muscle fatigue, particularly in the neck area. The high consumer interest in food makes culinary businesses play a crucial role in meeting consumer purchasing interest in culinary. This is a crucial concern and task for all parties, both the government and food producers, to maintain the safety of the food they produce. Both in terms of nutrition, hygiene, safety, halal certification, and so on must be a serious concern for producers. One of the government's programs to ensure food products are safe for public consumption is by issuing distribution permits in the form of PIRT (home industry food) permits and Halal Certification, which are official guarantees from the government, so that food products can be distributed and are safe for consumption by all consumers. PIRT is issued through a supervisory body, namely the Health Office located in a Regency. Along with this, various opportunities to improve marketing performance arise through the marketplace platform. This community service approach uses an empowerment approach to the benefits of PIRT, Halal Certification and digital marketing through the marketplace platform to increase consumer trust in products and marketing performance. Through this service, the product value increases, by obtaining PIRT permits and Halal Certification, and the STIE Gentiaras student product has a wider marketing reach through the marketplace platform.

Weather and cloud cover are two fundamental atmospheric elements that are closely interconnected and play a vital role in understanding, classifying, and predicting atmospheric conditions. Accurate classification of weather conditions is essential not only for meteorological studies but also for practical applications in agriculture, aviation, transportation, and disaster management. Among the various statistical techniques available, correspondence analysis has proven to be an effective exploratory method for revealing associations among categorical variables by displaying their relationships in a two-dimensional graphical map. The primary objective of this study is to examine the relationship between different categories of weather conditions and levels of cloud cover using correspondence analysis. The data were sourced from the Kaggle platform, consisting of 13,200 observations with two key categorical variables: weather conditions (sunny, cloudy, rainy, and snowy) and cloud cover (clear, partly cloudy, cloudy, and overcast). This large dataset provides sufficient variability and reliability to capture the complex interdependence between the two variables. The findings reveal a statistically significant relationship between weather categories and cloud cover levels. The correspondence map visualization shows distinct patterns: clear weather is strongly associated with cloudless skies, while rainy and snowy weather conditions are predominantly linked to fully overcast skies. Cloudy and partly cloudy conditions occupy an intermediate position on the correspondence map, reflecting a transitional state between favorable and unfavorable weather. The first dimension of the map represents a spectrum from favorable weather conditions (sunny and clear) to adverse conditions (rainy and snowy), whereas the second dimension primarily reflects the intensity or density of cloud cover, ranging from thin to thick cloud layers. Overall, this study demonstrates the usefulness of correspondence analysis as an exploratory tool for meteorological data, offering valuable insights into the interrelation of weather and cloud cover categories.

This study analyzes Kompas.com’s news coverage of the Papua conflict and human rights issues during the 2024 Presidential Debate to examine media neutrality through Norman Fairclough’s Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) integrated with Teun A. Van Dijk’s model. The analysis covers three dimensions: micro (text), meso (discursive practice), and macro (social practice), using a qualitative descriptive method. Data from 21 news excerpts reveal that social and political contexts are clearly represented, focusing on the strategies of the three presidential candidates in addressing human rights and conflict issues in Papua. The findings highlight the importance of realizing the Papua-related commitments made during the debate by the elected president, given the rising trend of violence and the unresolved justice issues in the region. The study demonstrates that media coverage, even by a leading news outlet such as Kompas.com, carries the potential to influence public perception regarding sensitive political and social issues. At the micro level, the language and lexical choices in the news articles often convey subtle ideological positions, including the framing of human rights violations and conflict events, which may reflect both explicit and implicit biases. At the meso level, discursive practices, including editorial decisions, headline constructions, and sourcing patterns, contribute to the shaping of narratives, highlighting certain aspects of the candidates’ statements while minimizing others. Meanwhile, at the macro level, the broader societal and political context, including historical grievances, regional tensions, and national political dynamics, provides the backdrop against which news coverage is produced and consumed, indicating the complex interplay between

The Qur'an, as the greatest miracle revealed to the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, possesses a linguistic excellence unmatched by Arab writers, both during and after the revelation. The beauty of its sentence structure, rhetorical power, and the depth of meaning in each sentence make the Qur'an an authentic proof of the Prophet's prophethood. Among the prominent linguistic characteristics in the Qur'an is the use of the istifham style interrogative sentences, which in the science of balaghah is included in the branch of ma'ani. Interrogative sentences in the Qur'an are not always intended to ask for answers, but often contain rhetorical intent that strengthens arguments, raises awareness, or even touches the psychological aspects of the reader.

This study investigated the implementation and effectiveness of Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) in enhancing the English reading skills of tenth-grade students at an Indonesian senior high school. The research was motivated by the persistent gap left by traditional language teaching methods, which frequently emphasize grammatical accuracy and vocabulary memorization while often neglecting the development of practical reading abilities. To address this issue, the study systematically examined the application of TBLT through three structured phases: pre-reading, main reading, and post-reading tasks. Each phase was designed to promote active learning, critical thinking, and student engagement in the reading process. The methodology involved classroom observations, task-based instructional activities, and an analysis of student exam scores as the primary indicators of progress. During the pre-reading phase, students were encouraged to activate prior knowledge and predict content, which helped build contextual understanding. In the main reading phase, tasks focused on developing essential reading strategies such as skimming for general ideas and scanning for specific information.
