Effective, efficient, and accountable public services are one of the fundamental pillars of good governance. At the village level, the success of these services is highly dependent on the performance of government officials, particularly in administrative services that directly address the community’s basic needs. This study aims to analyze employee performance in administrative services at the Maliran Village Head Office, Ponggok Subdistrict, Blitar Regency, and to identify obstacles faced during the service process. A descriptive qualitative research method was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that employee performance can be categorized as fairly good based on ten performance indicators: work quality, work quantity, timeliness, effectiveness, independence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangible evidence. These aspects reflect that village officials are generally able to carry out their duties in meeting the administrative needs of the community. However, several obstacles remain, including reliance on digital technology that is not supported by adequate infrastructure, particularly the frequent occurrence of power outages which disrupts the continuity of services. The study highlights the importance of strengthening digital infrastructure, enhancing technical training for village officials, and ensuring the availability of backup systems to anticipate service interruptions. These efforts are essential to improve service delivery, strengthen public trust, and support the realization of good governance at the village level.

The terminological debate between “Islamic architecture” and “Islamicate architecture” has become a central concern in studies of architecture rooted in Islamic values. Although often used interchangeably, the two terms carry different theoretical and contextual nuances. This study aims to explore the conceptual similarities and differences between Islamic architecture and Islamicate architecture through an interpretative qualitative approach by examining both classical and contemporary literature, as well as architectural spaces that represent the two terms. The analysis reveals that Islamic architecture refers more to the historical products of classical Islamic civilization, while Islamicate architecture is a contemporary approach that seeks to embed Islamic values into the design process, regardless of traditional architectural forms. This study emphasizes the importance of terminological clarity in developing an architectural identity grounded in values and spirituality. The implication is that conceptual approaches to Islamic and Islamicate architecture can enrich contemporary architectural discourse in an inclusive and contextual manner.

The increasing number of students in major cities such as Medan has created an urgent need for temporary housing that is adequate, comfortable, and sustainable. In response, the Indonesian government, through the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), launched the "One Thousand Towers Program," which includes the development of rental apartment buildings (Rusunawa) for students. However, housing provision must go beyond quantity—it must also consider environmental aspects and the quality of life for its occupants. Therefore, a green architecture approach serves as the foundation for the design of environmentally friendly student housing. This project aims to create a vertical residential facility that not only fulfills the basic function of shelter but also supports learning activities, social interaction, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability. The design applies key principles of green architecture such as natural lighting, cross ventilation, the use of eco-friendly materials, and the integration of green open spaces. In addition to double-room residential units, the building is equipped with supporting facilities such as study areas, a library, cafeteria, and rooftop garden. The design methodology integrates both primary and secondary data analysis, as well as a comprehensive site study covering climate, noise levels, circulation, and building orientation. The building form concept is developed modularly and efficiently through mass transformation, resulting in an inner court that provides natural light and air. Supported by energy-saving utilities, this design is expected to offer a student housing solution that is not only functional and aesthetic but also contributes to sustainable and high-quality urban development.

South Sumatra is a province with high natural resource potential in the palm oil plantation sector. The increasing demand for palm oil has led to many companies operating in this sector. One such plantation company is PT. Agro Muara Rupit, located in Rawas Ulu District, North Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra Province. This research is important because plantations are not only assessed from a commercial perspective, but must also have a positive impact on environmental sustainability. One environmentally conscious design concept is ecological architecture. Ecological architecture plays a role in protecting ecosystems from damage and creating comfort for residents from a physical, social, and economic perspective. This research aims to create environmentally conscious residential designs by applying ecological architecture concepts, ensuring the preservation of the natural environment. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with stages namely problem identification, data collection, analysis, and concept development, then the concept is implemented into the design. The results of this study are the implementation of four aspects of the ecological architecture concept in residential environments, including through natural ventilation and lighting systems by creating openings in the building, energy savings by using solar panels, the use of natural materials in the building mass such as clay, wood and bamboo, and the application of a bio pore system as water absorption.

The growth of vannamei shrimp is an important indicator in the success of fishery cultivation, where feeding management plays a crucial role. This study aims to determine the influence of feed management on the growth rate of vannamei shrimp and measure the contribution of these variables to growth. The research method used is a quantitative approach with the use of primary and secondary data through participatory observation at the cultivation site. Data analysis was carried out using a simple linear regression test and a determination coefficient (R²) test to answer the problem formulation empirically. The results of the regression test showed that the feed management variable had a positive effect on the Y variable (shrimp growth rate), which means that the better the feed management, the higher the growth rate of vannamei shrimp. The determination coefficient test yielded an R² value of 75.3%, indicating that feeding management made a significant contribution to shrimp growth, while 24.7% was influenced by other factors not discussed in this study. These findings confirm the importance of structured and efficient feed management in increasing shrimp farming productivity. This research is expected to be a reference for fishery business actors in designing optimal feeding strategies and encouraging further research related to other variables that also affect shrimp growth holistically.

Disorders of the musculoskeletal system encompass a wide range of conditions affecting the bones, joints, and muscles. Bone-related disorders include osteoporosis, fractures, spinal deformities, osteopenia, osteomalacia, Paget’s disease of bone, osteopetrosis, achondroplasia, osteogenesis imperfecta, and osteomyelitis. Joint-related disorders consist of arthritis, bursitis, tendinitis, tendon injuries, tennis elbow, and carpal tunnel syndrome, while muscle disorders include myalgia, fibromyalgia, muscle injuries, muscular dystrophy, muscle atrophy, cramps, and spasms (Astuti et al., 2024). Fractures may lead to complications in surrounding tissues, such as soft tissue edema, bleeding into muscles and joints, joint dislocation, nerve damage, vascular injury, and tendon rupture (Rumapea, 2024). A patellar tendon rupture occurs when the fibrous tissue connecting the patella to the quadriceps muscle tears, and complete ruptures typically require surgical repair. The objective of this study was to design and implement a nursing care plan for patient A, who underwent post-operative management of a patellar tendon rupture in Mawar Ward 2 at RSUD dr. Soeselo, Tegal Regency, in 2025. This study applied a descriptive case study method. The findings revealed that the main complaint reported by the patient was pain in the left knee. Three nursing diagnoses were identified: acute pain, impaired physical mobility, and risk of infection. Nursing interventions were structured based on standardized guidelines from SDKI, SLKI, and SIKI, enabling systematic implementation. The results highlight the importance of comprehensive and evidence-based nursing care to optimize recovery outcomes for patients with post-operative tendon rupture.

Errors in the pre-analytical phase are a dominant factor causing inaccurate laboratory test results, including blood serum cholesterol analysis. Pre-examination specimen handling is crucial to ensure the quality of measurement results. This study aimed to compare serum cholesterol levels in blood frozen before centrifugation with those immediately centrifuged. The research method was analytical using a cross-sectional design. A total of 35 respondents were involved, consisting of laboratory staff, emergency room staff, pharmacists, and administration at Sinar Kasih GKST Tentena Hospital. Blood samples were obtained via venipuncture after participants had fasted for 10–12 hours. Each sample was then separated into two groups: those immediately centrifuged and those frozen 20–30 minutes before centrifugation. Data collection was carried out by examining serum cholesterol levels using an Erba Mannheim Chem-7 photometer. The results showed that the average cholesterol level in frozen samples was higher (161.4 mg/dL) compared to samples immediately centrifuged (140.45 mg/dL). The Mann-Whitney statistical test yielded a p-value of 0.006 (p<0.05), indicating a significant difference between the two treatments. This confirms that pre-analytical handling of blood specimens significantly impacts the validity of cholesterol test results. Therefore, careful attention to the pre-analytical stage is essential to ensure the accuracy of laboratory results.

Burn injuries are a significant health problem because they damage the skin’s protective barrier, increase the risk of infection, and may cause severe complications if not treated properly. The healing process is complex and involves several cellular events, in which fibroblasts play a key role by producing collagen and forming granulation tissue. Recently, there has been growing interest in natural, herbal-based therapies for wound care. Tamarind leaves (Tamarindus indica) were chosen in this study because they contain flavonoids, polyphenols, tannins, and saponins, all of which have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and tissue-regenerating properties. The aim was to evaluate the effectiveness of ethanol extract gel of tamarind leaves at concentrations of 2.5%, 5%, and 10% in promoting fibroblast proliferation and healing of burn wounds in male rats (Rattus norvegicus). An experimental randomized design was used with six groups: normal control, neative control, positive control, and three treatment groups. Clinical observation and histopathological analysis showed that the extract gel accelerated wound closure significantly compared to the negative control. Fibroblast proliferation was higher in all treatment groups, with the 10% extract giving the best result, similar to Bioplacenton. These findings highlight tamarind leaves’ potential as a safe and affordable alternative for burn wound therapy.

This study aims to analyze the influence of green financing, industrialization level, and fossil energy consumption on carbon emissions in Indonesia for the period 2018–2023. The method used is multiple linear regression with the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) approach based on time series data. The dependent variable used is carbon emissions, while the independent variables include green financing, industrialization level, and fossil energy consumption. The results of the analysis show that both simultaneously and partially, the three independent variables do not have a significant effect on carbon emissions. The coefficients of green financing and industrialization tend to be positive, while fossil energy consumption is negative, but all are not statistically significant. These findings indicate that green financing policies, industrial development, and fossil energy consumption during the study period have not had a significant impact on carbon emissions in Indonesia. This study recommends the need to extend the observation period, add relevant variables such as the renewable energy mix, and optimize the implementation of green energy and financing policies to support carbon emission reduction in the future.
