This study aims to compare objective and projective personality asesment in the context of school guidance and counseling. The research method used is literature review, with data sources including books, journals, scientific articles, and other academic documents. The data were analyzed using content analysis to examine and summarize information from various sources. In addition, several case studies were reviewed to strengthen the understanding of how both types of tests are applied in practice. The results show that objective tests are easier to score and more efficient, while projective tests can explore deeper aspects of personality. Both types of tests can complement each other when used appropriately according to students’ needs and counseling goals.
