This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Poetry Album as a learning medium for teaching poetry writing to eighth-grade students in Cilacap Regency, Indonesia. Utilizing a qualitative exploratory approach, the research was conducted in three public junior high schools, involving 192 students and three Indonesian language teachers. Data were collected through participatory observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation of students' works, and were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis model. The results indicate that 96-98% of students enjoyed using this media, and the average scores of students' poetry ranged from 82 to 88. These findings suggest that the Poetry Album can enhance students' motivation, emotional engagement, and poetry writing skills. Furthermore, this media has proven effective in enriching the learning process aesthetically and creatively, in line with Rosenblatt's (1995) aesthetic response theory and Vygotsky's (1978) constructivist theory. Thus, the Poetry Album is relevant for aesthetic-based literary learning in secondary schools.

This study is a literature review aimed at examining the effectiveness of the guided inquiry model based on STEM in enhancing students’ critical thinking skills. The guided inquiry model provides a structured framework for students to explore problems under teacher guidance, while the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach promotes interdisciplinary, contextual, and practical learning. Through an analysis of various relevant articles and scholarly journals, the findings indicate that the implementation of the guided inquiry model integrated with STEM consistently improves students' critical thinking abilities, particularly in areas such as analysis, evaluation, and reasoning. The study also highlights the crucial role of teachers as active facilitators in the learning process and the need for adequate resources to effectively apply this approach. The results of this review are expected to serve as a reference for educators and researchers in developing innovative and 21st-century-oriented learning strategies.

Low student learning motivation is one of the main obstacles that affect the smoothness and success of the learning process. To overcome this, a classroom management strategy is needed that not only focuses on technical management, but also considers the psychological aspects of students. This paper reviews the application of management strategies based on psychological principles in order to improve student learning motivation. Through this approach, teachers are expected to be able to recognize differences in student characteristics, help them manage their emotions, and create a positive and supportive learning atmosphere. The strategies discussed include individual understanding, providing appropriate learning encouragement, improving learning skills, managing emotions, and constructive assessments. The results of the discussion show that psychology-based management strategies are able to foster intrinsic learning motivation, increase student involvement in the classroom, and create a conducive learning climate. Thus, this approach can be used as an alternative solution in efforts to improve the quality of education.

Differentiated learning is an approach that adapts the learning process to the needs, interests, and abilities of each student so that they can learn optimally according to their own style and pace. This approach aims to create a more meaningful learning experience, allowing each student to develop their potential to the fullest, and building an inclusive and equitable environment where all learners have the same opportunity to thrive. With a more dynamic learning atmosphere, students feel valued and supported in their academic journey. To implement differentiated learning effectively, teachers must have the skills to identify individual student needs, design flexible learning strategies, and create teaching materials that can be accessed and understood by all students. With this approach, the effectiveness of learning increases, while encouraging students to be more active, confident, and independent in exploring knowledge.

Assessment is an integral part of the learning process that functions to determine the extent to which learning objectives have been achieved. This article discusses the assessment of cognitive and psychomotor domains in reading comprehension material with a focus on evaluative thinking. The main focus in evaluative reading is the ability of students to assess, criticize, and provide responses to information or texts read. Cognitive assessment is directed at measuring analytical, synthesis, and evaluation skills, while psychomotor assessment touches on aspects of real skills such as delivering oral responses or making written summaries. This study is expected to be a reference for educators in compiling holistic and balanced assessment instruments.

The purpose of this study was to illuminate how students understand various types of sentences, especially single sentences, compound sentences, and compound sentences, and to develop and implement flipbooks as a learning aid in grade V of SD Negeri 12 Kota Langsa. This study was conducted through a qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation to collect data. The results showed that conventional learning methods and the lack of interactive media caused most students to still have difficulty in distinguishing the structure and use of sentence types. There is evidence that the use of visual and interactive flipbook media can improve students' understanding and encourage them to actively participate in the learning process. Flipbooks are able to create a more interesting and meaningful learning environment, despite technical constraints such as limited digital devices. This study found that flipbooks are an effective alternative for teaching Indonesian to elementary school students by improving their language skills.

Mathematics plays a crucial role in everyday life, as it enhances students' abilities to absorb lessons more effectively and develop rational, critical, logical, analytical, and systematic thinking. This study employs the literature review method, which involves gathering relevant information from various sources to support the research topic. The author collects references from articles and journals using Google Scholar, an open-access database that simplifies the process of locating topic-specific materials. Difficulties faced by students in learning mathematics are not always due to a lack of mathematical knowledge. They may stem from other issues such as memory problems, difficulty in recalling mathematical problems, weak calculation skills, confusion with operational signs, or reversing numbers. Students with learning disabilities may particularly struggle with both mathematical reasoning and basic computation. Furthermore, mathematical learning difficulties are also associated with cognitive challenges, such as solving complex word problems and understanding numerical concepts. These learning difficulties often result from internal and external factors that hinder the brain’s ability to process, analyze, and retain mathematical information effectively.

One of the local food potentials in the Woitombo Village area, Mowewe District, East Kolaka Regency is the sago plant. Opportunities for utilizing local sago food processing in this area are still lacking, while the potential for this processing can support food security and nutritious eating programs in the area. The lack of knowledge and skills of the local community is the cause of not utilizing the local food potential of sago. Based on this, the service team will provide training and assistance to women who are members of a Dasawisma group, with the aim of increasing women's capacity through processing local sago food in the area using the socialization, counseling and training stages in local sago food processing, which can support the sustainable development of sago plants in supporting food security and nutritious eating programs in the area. The result of this activity is that the women who took part in the activity gained knowledge and skills in processing local sago food, with a very enthusiastic attitude in the activity and at the end of the training activity were able to make and produce local sago food preparations, namely processing wet sago into sago flour and then processing the sago flour into sinonggi (a traditional specialty food) and sago plates (traditional cakes).

This research is a research and development (Research and Development) that aims to develop an e-module oriented to Problem Based Learning (PBL) on the reaction rate material that is practically used in the learning process. The development model used is the 4D model consisting of four stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. However, this study is limited to the Develop stage, which was tested on a limited basis at SMA Assa'adah Gresik. Data were obtained through student response questionnaires and learning activity observation sheets. The results of the analysis show that the e-module developed is classified as very practical. This is indicated by the results of the student response questionnaire which obtained a percentage of 96% with a very practical category, and is supported by the results of observations of student activities which also reached a percentage of 96% in the same category. Thus, this e-module is worthy of being used as an alternative effective and interactive learning media on the reaction rate material.
