Mathematical Problem-Solving Ability (KPMM) is one of the essential skills that must be developed, as it trains students to formulate appropriate solution strategies, understand the meaning of each step, and cultivate systematic thinking habits. One of the tools that can be utilized to support the development of KPMM is the use of Student Worksheets (LKPD). Various studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of using LKPD in improving students' KPMM; however, comprehensive reviews that specifically examine the effectiveness of LKPD based on educational level and the form of LKPD used are still limited. Therefore, this study aims to analyze and synthesize previous research findings on the effectiveness of LKPD in supporting students’ KPMM in terms of educational level and LKPD format through a meta-analysis method. The population and sample of this study consist of journal articles and national conference proceedings selected according to PRISMA guidelines. The results of the meta-analysis show that the use of LKPD has a very strong influence on enhancing students' KPMM, with an effect size of 2.123. Based on educational level, LKPD is proven to be more effective when used at the junior high school level (SMP) compared to the senior high school level (SMA), while in terms of format, digital LKPD is more effective than printed LKPD in supporting students' KPMM.

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using the lecture method to enhance students’ comprehension of Ottoman Turkish History in class VIII at SMPN 1 Telagasari. The primary issue identified is the students' low grasp of historical content, which tends to be chronological and information-heavy. The study adopts a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, conducted in two cycles, each comprising planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection phases. Data collection was done using a 20-item multiple-choice test and analyzed quantitatively. Findings revealed that only 10% of students passed in the pre-cycle with an average score of 25, increasing to 40% in the first cycle with an average score of 35, and reaching 45% in the second cycle with an average score of 45. Despite the incremental improvements, the outcomes did not meet the minimum success criteria (≥75% of students achieving the passing score). This indicates that the lecture method alone has limitations in significantly enhancing students’ understanding unless integrated with more interactive teaching strategies.

Learning strategies are crucial because this is the first step given by the teacher. The step that needs to be considered is determining the learning strategy that will accommodate the development of students. The main teacher can choose the best teaching methods and strategies to create excellent learning, adjust the material to the students' abilities, and enable students to receive knowledge transfer. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to explore project-based religious learning strategies applied in the Islamic Religious Education subject at SMP Muhammadiyah 05 Medan Denai. This approach was chosen to deeply explore the practices, experiences, and impact of learning on the religious awareness of the students. Interviews with students show that involvement in the project has made them better understand religious values in real life. Some students admitted to starting to pray on time, being more diligent in reading the Quran, and being more concerned about the social environment. This shows that the religious project encourages the internalization of values through direct experience, not just memorization or theory. This learning not only strengthens the understanding of Islamic material but also instills religious values through real practices that can be directly experienced by the students. Some forms of projects, such as mini-dawah, infaq movements, and adab campaigns, have proven to enrich students' experiences and enhance their awareness of Islamic values in daily life. Islamic education teachers play an important role as facilitators, not only guiding students in project activities but also providing space for reflection and evaluation. Students feel more motivated and actively engaged in the learning process, which leads to changes in their religious behavior, such as increased discipline in worship and a greater sense of care for their surroundings.
