Artificial Intelligence (AI) has increasingly become an integral component of modern education, offering significant opportunities to improve accessibility, efficiency, and personalized learning. This study explores students’ perceptions of AI in educational contexts, focusing not only on its practical benefits but also on ethical concerns, particularly regarding data privacy and social responsibility. Adopting a mixed-method design, the research collected data through surveys and classroom observations. The survey responses were analyzed using descriptive statistics to identify trends in perceptions, while observation notes were thematically coded to capture students’ real interactions with AI applications. The findings reveal that students generally exhibit a positive attitude toward AI, recognizing its potential to enhance learning experiences by making education more accessible and efficient. However, the study also highlights that concerns over data privacy and the potential misuse of information remain central issues. Moreover, a notable gap exists between students’ appreciation of the practical benefits of AI and their awareness of ethical dimensions such as algorithmic bias and digital responsibility. This imbalance suggests that while students are ready to embrace AI as a tool, they may not yet be adequately prepared to address the broader ethical implications of its use. The discussion situates these findings within the framework of digital ethics, emphasizing the need for education systems to integrate ethical literacy alongside technological skills. By doing so, schools and universities can ensure that students are both technologically competent and socially responsible. The study concludes that although AI is welcomed in educational settings, greater emphasis on digital ethics education is essential to maximize its benefits and minimize potential risks. This research provides a basis for future studies on policy development and ethical practices for AI in the classroom.

This study aims to describe the learning conditions of Indonesian History applied at Madrasah Aliyah Bustanul Muta'allimim Blitar which uses the Problem Based Learning learning model. Problem Based Learning model learning directs the ability of students to play an active role in solving a problem in the process of learning activities, but in reality in learning in class 10 of Madrasah Aliyah Bustanul Muta'allimin there are still some students who still have difficulty in solving problems and there are also some students who are less active when the learning process takes place. The formulation of the problems in this study are: 1) How is the implementation of the Problem Based Learning learning model in grade 10 Indonesian History subjects? 2) How can the implementation of Problem Based Learning improve the quality of 10th grade Indonesian History learning? 3) What are the implications of the implementation of Problem Based Learning on student learning outcomes? The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, as for the data sources used, namely through primary data by digging directly to the research location located at MA Bustanul Muta'allimin Blitar, with data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation and checking data validity through source triangulation. . The results of this study are 1) Implementation of Problem Based Learning model learning in Indonesian History subjects in class 10 A, 10 B and 10 C there are three stages that are applied in the learning process, namely the preparation stage, the core activity stage, and the final stage or evaluation. 2)  Analysis of Whether the Problem Based Learning Method can Improve the Quality of Indonesian History Learning in grade 10. There are differences in the responses of students from the three classes for class 10 A, the response of students is still difficult in solving problems in the learning process and difficulty in presenting material when in front of the class and less active in learning in class, this is different from class 10 B and 10 C, students are easier in solving a problem and can present material and be active in learning activities in class. So from this it can be said that learning in the classroom has improved, but there must be more improvements from the Problem Based Learning model when learning activities take place in class. 3) Classroom student learning outcomes For student learning outcomes are influenced by factors within students, namely about the motivation of these students in participating in learning. Students from the three classes can be said to be class 10 A which is rather low compared to the other classes, because there are only male students, this can happen because in the application of Problem Based Learning model learning, these students do not pay attention to the teacher's direction, and are less serious in learning activities, so they do not understand the material being discussed together, in contrast to classes 10 B and 10 C which tend to be more easily organized by the teacher and pay attention when learning activities take place and are active in the process of ongoing learning activities.

International Perspectives in Christian Education and Philosophy 2024 Asosiasi Riset Ilmu Pendidkan Agama dan Filsafat Indonesia

The rapid integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education presents both opportunities and ethical challenges, especially for faith based institutions such as Christian schools. These institutions must balance technological innovation with their theological commitments. As AI becomes more embedded in educational environments, Christian educators face the challenge of integrating AI in a way that aligns with Christian values, human dignity, and relational teaching roles. This study explores how Christian moral teachings can guide the integration of AI into education, providing a framework for ethical AI use in Christian schools. Previous studies have highlighted the ethical concerns associated with AI, including algorithmic bias, data privacy, and the potential for AI to undermine relational teaching roles. Christian educational theology, which emphasizes values such as human dignity, justice, and fairness, offers a robust framework for addressing these concerns. A biblical worldview and the concept of Imago Dei (the image of God) provide theological foundations for integrating AI ethically in education, ensuring that AI tools enhance human centered learning rather than replace human educators. Additionally, literature suggests that ethical guidelines informed by Christian teachings can mitigate AI's ethical risks and promote a more inclusive and equitable educational environment. This study employs a mixed methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative research methods. The qualitative phase involves document analysis and interviews with Christian educators and theologians to explore theological reflections on AI and its ethical implications.

Tropical diseases remain a serious public health challenge in Southeast Asia, particularly malaria, which has high morbidity and mortality rates. The complexity of their spread is influenced by various factors, including climate, environment, and population, requiring a spatially-based analytical approach to understand their distribution patterns. This study aims to develop a regression-based spatial model to predict the spread of tropical diseases and identify hotspots in high-risk areas. The data used include tropical disease case reports from national health agencies, climate data (temperature, rainfall, humidity) from BMKG and WorldClim, and population data (density and mobility) from  BPS and other official sources. The analysis was conducted using a Geographic Information System GIS for spatial mapping, as well as the application of spatial regression models, namely the Spatial Lag Model SLM and Spatial Error Model SEM. The results show that the developed model is able to predict disease distribution with a high level of accuracy, demonstrated by statistical validation through AIC, and Morans I. One of the main findings is the identification of malaria hotspots with a confidence level of 93, as well as the mapping of tropical disease risk predictions covering the Southeast Asian region. These results have significant implications for public health policy, particularly in resource allocation, prevention program planning, and priority area-based interventions. Furthermore, this study recommends the integration of big data and machine learning technologies to enrich predictive models and develop more adaptive early warning systems. Thus, this research contributes to strengthening tropical disease control strategies in Southeast Asia with a comprehensive spatial data-driven approach.
